Yesterday I didn’t do too much because I felt a bit off. And then in the night I ended up feeling sick. At first I felt hungry so I ate something but then as soon as I finished it my stomach lurched and felt woozy, so I ended up heading to bed early. Ugh.

I woke and felt a little better but the sick feeling was still there. Thankfully the weather has gone bad because I’m not not sure I’d have been ok taking Naryu for a walk.

My tummy has settled a bit now but I’m not confident it’ll last long.

Today was the last ep of Picard so thoughts ahoy.

I dunno what my plan for the rest of the day is gonna be now, it kinda depends how I end up feeling. At the moment I feel pretty tired so I might just bundle and nap

Last night Ranboo streamed Cult Of The Lamb which was pretty fun, though it made me want to get back on it which is predictable. It also seems he’s been convinced to play Hades by the possibility of hot men. I can’t blame him there are so many.

The Xbox spring sale started to but nothing really caught my attention on my first skim through it. I had hoped something like Deliver Us Mars would be in it but no. I am curious about the Age Of Empires 2 dlc but I’ll have to read up on them properly to see what they are.

Since Star Wars celebration was todayI was up and out early with the pup (ugh) but there was time for Picard before it. So a few bullet point notes.

As mentioned it was the first day of the Star Wars Celebration livestream. Most of it was talking to people on the set up they have, which partly felt disjointed at the start. That was mainly because there was a Lucasfilm panel earlier with some reveals there. As such the first people were from that, but without showing the panel for context it felt a bit odd. (However I have to love one of the new people, who was wearing a Padme cosplay!) There was also one panel shown which was the making of the Andor one, which felt a little dry and that wasn’t helped by the camera not panning out to show the concept art that was being shown off. I’did find out Aldhani was shot in Scotland though.

There was a new Ahsoka trailer and I’m gonna be cautiously optimistic about it. It looks like it might be pretty good, but also there’s some things that give me doubts. I don’t really like the way that the live action shows change the long standing people that have played the roles, especially when they’re just fine with people like Cad Bane and Bo Katan played by their voice actors. But I digress. It does look promising so I guess we’ll see in August.

The other reveals weren’t shown as clips so I’ve picked bits and pieces from tweets and such (so they might be wrong)

*The Acolyte: the next tv series due out next year. It’s been described as ‘Frozen meets Kill Bill’ which is an insane description
*Andor season 2: also out next year, unlike season 1 each 3 episodes is an year in universe, with Andor’s final scene being him going to the meeting that introduces him in Rogue One
*Skeleton Crew: not much info other than the basic premise and Jude Law is a Jedi?

There’s also surprisingly, 3 new films coming
*Dawn of the Jedi: which is set way before everything else and is about the formation of the Jedi
*A New Republic film: apparently a culmination of the mandalorian and other shows so feels like an odd choice, though it also seems to be about the rise of the first order
*A new Jedi order film: set after the sequel Jedi with Rey coming back and setting up and protecting new Jedi

Of the shows The Acolyte is the one I’m curious about most, mainly because of that insane description. Of the films I’m not sure it depends on what the concepts actually are (and for the latter Finn and Poe, make Finn a Jedi damnit) but the republic one is by Dave Filoni so that makes it interesting. But at the same time I kinda wish there was something that wasn’t so… Jedi centric.

Day 2 is tomorrow so hopefully there’s more than one panel.

I do feel so drained now which is annoying, ugh. Hopefully I can watch stuff later.

The rest of yesterday ended up being a pretty lazy kinda day (though for some reason not restful). The Xbox uk stream ended up being half Resident Evil 4 (which I half watched, mostly because I wanted to avoid too much) and Not For Broadcast (though I ended up half watching that too, but every time I looked at the screen I had no idea what was happening).

During the first half I built up the Lego Easter rabbits, though it felt a bit unnecessary to have the parts spread across 7 bags for a set this size. The two bunnies are cute, though it’s odd there’s no real space on the stand for the eggs and flowers. For the second half I went on dreamlight valley and got most of the things from the star path (there’s just moonstones which I can live without, especially as one thing requires a lot of resources that seem hard to find).

I watched a few QSMP streams though it wasn’t quite as active as the intro stream. Foolish has predictably started a huge building project for himself. Quackity has been flirting with everyone (and ahh him and a foolish is so sweet though). And it seems some of the Spanish guys have started a cult? Though I’m not sure on the details.

It also seems there’s a lot more to the server than a standard one. There’s some Zelda like elements to it, including dungeons and little totems that are like statues in breath of the wild. Plus there’s paragliders. It makes me curious what else will be found. I hope a bunch of people get together to tackle a dungeon, fit and foolish tried but didn’t get far before wisely retreating.

I did manage to finish the last of the day of the daleks special features, which I’m glad about. One was a blue Peter clip that must’ve been made before the ep was confirmed as it had a clip from Daleks master plan which is the first I’ve ever seen (and, ironically, it included the guy the Brigadier played in it).

There was also a new Set It off song, which is heavier than Elsewhere’s stuff. I’m curious what the video will be like, so I’m wondering if one will be out soon.

Today we went to see the ducks for something different and instead saw grebe out in the water! It looked like there were two so maybe they’re a pair? It’d be interesting if they are, their mating dance looks so impressive but I’ve never seen it.

No Picard thoughts which is… a bit mixed.

My energy is a bit off these past days which is annoying. I’m hoping to rest some this weekend but I get the feeling I won’t get as much rest as I’d like which is annoying.

Resident Evil 4 is out today so I’m gonna avoid spoilers (which is an odd thing since I’ve played the original 3 times on different systems). I have it good to go (thanks xbox rewards points for covering most of it) but I want to try and finish Resident Evil 2 first. I say as if I haven’t only done the intro section. I had hoped to go on it a few nights this week but because of my energy (or lack thereof) I didn’t.

In two weeks is Insomnia and I’m debating if I should go. I’m still waiting on the schedule, because they have a lot of Resident Evil people there (I think it’s 5 now) there’ll be a panel or two which I’d like to see, but we’ll see. It’s also Star Wars celebration that weekend so it also means if I go I’ll miss one stream (though I can catch up). Again I guess we’ll see.

So yesterday was one of those days where it felt like everyone decided to do everything on the same day because there was so much.

It started like a few days this week, with my head feeling fuzzy. It was less depression/anxiety type fuzzy more headachy fuzzy. I think I might have to take up a pack of meds so I have them upstairs to see if it helps, especially cause I felt that way today too. Or maybe it’s just causa the annoying sudden cold. It’s especially annoying cause I still haven’t read what I was going to, hopefully today cause the same fuzziness was there this morning.

There was the fortnite new season update yesterday, which felt like it took forever to go live. It’s not a completely new map, only the south eastern corner has changed, but it looks so pretty. It’s part Japanese style buildings with a cyberpunk style city at it’s heart. Also the main battle pass character is called Renzo The Destroyer and he looks so cool! Just look at him! He’s now my new main, at least until Leon comes out (probably around the Resident Evil release)

Speaking of Leon (although I didn’t find this out until later in the day) the game voice actor for him is gonna be at Insomnia next month, along with the actress that plays the tall vampire lady. I’m still waiting for the schedule to go live but it’s tempting me. (And it’s not as if insomnia sells out)

Yesterday was also the finale of this series of Father Brown which was pretty good, if sad that it seems Goodfellow isn’t gonna be running things like it seemed he would going forward. I hope that doesn’t mean he’s sent elsewhere. This series has felt a little odd though, mainly because of how Mrs M was unceremoniously written out and not given a farewell ep. It makes me think that something has happened to the actress which meant she couldn’t come back (but if not…. Then it seems a pretty lousy thing to do).

After that there was Picard.

The new Sorry vid was yesterday and this time it was in a prison which… yeah. It felt more than once that the scenes could have been the start of a porn. It was wild. Wilbur went live later and did a watch of the first vids and it seems the next one is gonna be a bank robbery (and more are gonna be filmed after the tour)

At the same time as Wilbur’s stream Quackity’s thing got announced and from the trailer (with two Quackity’s which is 👀) it’s gonna be a bilingual server which makes me wonder exactly what that means and who is involved. I guess we’ll see soon cause the date is this month.

(And speaking of smps it seems the dreamsmp isn’t getting a season 2 after all which makes the ending all the more annoying and frustrating)

Who thoughts now. I did some Lost In Time and unlocked Leela yesterday which was awesome, because she’s one of my fav old Who companions.

Last night I watched The Time Meddler, the last ep of season 2. As a finale it’s a pretty good one. Obviously that’s in large part due to the Monk (who is that titular meddler) so it’s a bit of a shame this is the only one of his two eps that’s complete (and that he never showed up again after that).

Vicki and Steven (who randomly shows up in the tardis after coming in unseen in the last ep, most likely when the doctor was sorting the Dalek time ship to send Ian and Barbara back) spent a good portion of the ep separated from the doctor investigating. They seem to be a pretty decent team, with Vicki being pretty sensible to match Steven’s rudeness.

The ep’s also the first to be historical but not a pure historical, which proves to be a massive thing going forward (thankfully because the pure historicals are, mostly, kinda eh, bar the obvious one). Is the Monk really as benevolent in his intentions as he claims to be? I don’t know. He certainly seems to be… but then in his very next appearance he’s with the daleks.

Overall though this season has felt like kinda a weaker one, in more ways than one, though it has given me a new appreciation for Vicki. I should’ve done rankings for seasons before when I finished them so I’m gonna start now.

This morning some mail came. There was some free samples I forgot I sent for, Lego explorer magazine (that I ordered from eBay and it turns out I need ent have rushed cause the next one is put at the end of the month) and the new Elder scrolls loot crate which felt a bit random.

Today I’m gonna be watching some stuff, maybe fic and hopefully read. And tonight I want to finish the Who ray special features too.

Today is feeling like a low energy day which is annoying, I think it might be because of the stress of the fall yesterday or the general blehness.

It’s been announced that The Rig is gonna be getting a season 2! I’d hoped it would, so I’m really glad that the ending’s not left unresolved, from the announcement we’ll definitely see where they end up going and that the situation ends up going more global.

Yesterday ended up being fairly productive. I ended up doing some uni stuff, finishing Picard (thoughts later). And started a game.

I can tell why they announced the 10 and Donna return so early: because filming is happening outside, so they’d be seen. In fact there already is pictures of them with the Tardis, so it’d be hard to hide they’re back. It also seems that Wilf is gonna be with them as well.

They also announced one of the ‘new’ characters. I saw ‘new’ because the characters name is Rose. Logically it shouldn’t be the same character (because this Rose is black among other things) but this is Doctor Who we’re talking about so it could be. I’ve already seen theories. That it IS Rose who has regenerated due to the time vortex energy she absorbed in season 1. That it ISN’T Rose and that it’s Donna’s daughter. Of course it could just be someone with the same name but… who knows.

Of course the big thing yesterday was MCR’s first show and then internet is abound with clips and pics (and it was apparently filmed too). I’ve not seen too much but I have to admit, it was good to see Ray with his hair down rocking out.

Yesterday night I started The Stanley Parable (super ultra deluxe edition). I got it solely based on seeing Foolish play some of it and I was curious. I spent under an hour on it and got two endings (there’s many) but I was sad there wasn’t one to do with the starry dome which was pretty. i might go back on it tonight or something cause I went tired (and there’s an achievement for not going on the game… for 10 years).

Since I was too tired to watch something or game I went to bed, but I couldn’t settle right away so instead listened to the latest Banter podcast with Foolish and Punz. It’s my first time listening to one and it was pretty funny, right from the introduction (of Sapnap calling them special… but stupid guests). Lickgate did get discussed but… Foolish denies it while Punz says it did (and there was witnesses). Will we ever know for sure. I dunno. It’s also funny cause they discussed how Quackity was meant to be with them and he flaked (cue him arriving days after the podcast, I think due to Karl kissing Foolish). But yeah it was fun. They seem to be doing the road trip they mentioned in it too, but I guess we’ll see.

This morning I managed to finish the uni assessment which was a relief. I had meant to hold it back a day and send it tomorrow, but honestly? I just wanna see the back of it and never think of it again. There’s a little bit of reading at the end of the course which I’ll start next week and then it’s over.

And then I’ll be able to relax, to finish the book I started a few weeks back and then start the new Lesser Known Monsters (which came out last week).

This afternoon I’ve done Lego Star Wars, mostly just a bunch of random stuff to unlock characters. I’ve still not done any of the levels in free play and I really should.

We ended up watching Logan last night, it wasn’t quite as grim as I expected so it was pretty good. Though of course it was one of those things left with all kinds of unanswered questions.

I considered watching the film on after it, but I ended up dozing. I slept downstairs last night cause of the delivery coming and I wasn’t sure if it was coming via post or courier (and thus needed a signature). My sleep was just as restless as it’s been for the past days and I ended up turning on the tv about 7 and watching Phineas and Ferb on a Disney Xd.

I decided that the best thing to do was watch Picard in the morning, so once mum was settled I put it on.

Animal Crossing did arrive, along with my amiibo cards, so I’ve been playing on it a lot. I’ve got two good villagers, Canberrra and Poncho, who are adorable (and a koala and bear respectively). I’ve posted about my adventures here. I’ve got the museum in place and first house payment done do that’ll be ready in the morning. Other than that I’ve also got an ocarina, upgraded my inventory and shot down balloons.

I’m ready to lose myself in it more, though I’m not a fan of the tools breaking.

I’m gonna watch tonight’s film on horror channel too, though I don’t recall what it is.

Today I finished the second Uni book so I’m technically read for the assessment next week but ugh, we’ll see when I get to it and see the questions.

It’s two weeks till Animal Crossing and I can’t wait for it. I know it’s gonna give me a good distraction so it’s timing after the assessment is perfect, though I do wish it was here already. My preorder is with game, for the free tote bag, though everywhere else seems cheaper which is annoying.

It’s been a clear, sunny day, so I’ve got some pics of the garden for the photo post Sunday.

Last night the power went, which it did last time when a fuse went but I couldn’t find the cause and then I got the power back anyway. Odd.

Last days have been uneventful. I’ve been writing a bit and annoyed by twitter people again ugh.

I’ve been drained a lot and I think I’m coming down with something, which is annoying. And Naryu’s been sick too.

Animal crossing direct was yesterday and ahhh! I’m excite! I can’t wait to start my island life next month. It looks so pretty and peaceful and ahh.

Mum’s friend was here today and, as always she was so loud and just ugh. She’s nice enough but tiring.

Yesterday had a few good things happen. The reissue of season 12 of Doctor Who went up on zoom so of course I had to order it. Which I’m glad I did cause it’s out of stock now. The new Who magazine is out too and I really want it. I even made a trip down Wryley to see if they had it but no such luck. Maybe there’s a distribution thing again. I really want the Master cover. The next nearest place that might have it is sainsburys but, of course, it’s not on their sight.

The officials Doctor Who twitter revealed titles of the finale of the current series and my suspicion has been confirmed: it is gonna involve the cybermen.

Yesterday when we walked Naryu we saw the smol horses which is good. They’re so cute though it was geese again today.

I was gonna read yesterday afternoon, but since I went to try and get the magazine I was tired. I reAlly need to get back to it.

Last night I just watched stuff. I’ve meant to start Life Is Strange 2 but I’ve felt drained and blah. At least I finished fic so...

Mood is still a bit bleh, but eh.

There’s meant to be a storm this weekend, bad enough for a yellow alert which is concerning. I’ll just stay in and watch stuff if so.
