shadowhiveWe ended up watching Logan last night, it wasn’t quite as grim as I expected so it was pretty good. Though of course it was one of those things left with all kinds of unanswered questions.
I considered watching the film on after it, but I ended up dozing. I slept downstairs last night cause of the delivery coming and I wasn’t sure if it was coming via post or courier (and thus needed a signature). My sleep was just as restless as it’s been for the past days and I ended up turning on the tv about 7 and watching Phineas and Ferb on a Disney Xd.
I decided that the best thing to do was watch Picard in the morning, so once mum was settled I put it on.
As the first part of a two parter it felt like both a setup for the final confrontation as well as answering questions.
The orchid things were weird but a also pretty.
I’m glad Seven and Elnor are ok, though wish they had a greater role. (Hopefully there’s a Seven series in development.) The cube crashing was such an effect too. I hope Rios’ ship gets repaired and is good to go too.
A large part of it was, obviously, about the synths. Finally seeing them and their home as well as getting an explanation for the admonition. It’s ironic that it became a self fulfilling prophecy because of its effects on the romulans, but then maybe that was intentional. And of course, there’s a new Soong. Isn’t it odd how there’s been three members of the family with the same face? Though he did make a good point about no one listening to Picard.
The Romulans having over 200 warbirds seems odd. The Zhat Vash has been described as being a small, shadowy group so how could they amass a fleet that big? Especially in the wake of the destabilisation that the destruction of their home caused. Makes me wonder how much of the fleet knows exactly what’s going on.
Anyway I’m eager to see what will happen.
Animal Crossing did arrive, along with my amiibo cards, so I’ve been playing on it a lot. I’ve got two good villagers, Canberrra and Poncho, who are adorable (and a koala and bear respectively). I’ve posted about my adventures here. I’ve got the museum in place and first house payment done do that’ll be ready in the morning. Other than that I’ve also got an ocarina, upgraded my inventory and shot down balloons.
I’m ready to lose myself in it more, though I’m not a fan of the tools breaking.
I’m gonna watch tonight’s film on horror channel too, though I don’t recall what it is.
