Additional stuff

I'm 36 and a student at the Open University, studying science. I'm a guy and pan, and I’m currently with my two sweet loves). I've got depression and anxiety, which is a bitch and a lot of my posts are about that. I love Star Wars, Zelda as well as sci-fi and gaming in general. I’m gearing up for a return to my The Umbrella Academy fixation with season 2. I have a new puppy called Naryu as well as two cats, Midna and Leia.

When I first moved over here properly from LJ it was to continue to fic. For awhile that was what I mostly did here, fic with the occasional random post. However 2018 hit me hard, with one disaster after another. Inspiration dried up and was replaced by near permanent block. Plus having people I thought were friends abandon me completely put me off writing anymore. As a result my will to fic had gone completely and I thought it probably wouldn’t return. However, it started to change although it’s died off again due to various reasons. I’ve largely abandoned bandom because the ‘fans’ have become a mass of asshole teenagers.

Now, as well as fic, you'll find random rambles, film thoughts and whatever else comes to mind. There’s also a certain amount of depression related posts too, since I use this place to vent it sometimes, especially lately. Most posts are open (apart from depressive ones). Leave a comment somewhere if you want to be added and I'll be more than glad to. I won't bite and I always want to connect with people (and hope to reconnect with people that I've known, well most anyway).
