Now it’s time for a collection of other things, that didn’t fit in the gig post.

First off, I’ve finally started to watch American Horror Story. It’s been one of those things on my to watch list forever but I’ve never gotten around to it. Last week my friend mentioned they were going to start watching it so we decided to watch it together.

And damn. I’ve only gotten to Halloween part 2 so far (which I watched Friday night) but already it’s so so fucking good. I have so many thoughts and questions and theories, which I’m source will be proven right or wrong when we get back to it. My favourite character so far is definitely Tate. But damn there are so many red flags about this house (as pretty as it is) that the family must be colour blind to wanna stay. (And why does Vivien not question the sudden gazebo?? And why is Moria the only ghost so far that has two forms??)

I’m hoping to get back to it later, though it really depends on my energy cause it’s took a nose dive (put a pin in that, we’ll come back to that later).

Also on Friday the QSMP had a finale event which maybe canon? Maybe not? The horror elements of it was a pretty cool concept though it ran much longer than expected.

But damn it ending made me so sad. It’s been so sad to see the qsmp take such a nose dive these past months. I really think purgatory started to kill interest on the creators side, cause it killed off so much lore the creators made and then most never recovered. Then the server reset did more damage. Then it came out so many people behind the scenes were being screwed over in various ways (seriously the egg actors should have been better treated and paid from the start and it’s fucked they weren’t, especially the hours they worked).

On the other hand despite the qsmp’s failures it was also a success in what it set out to do. It connected communities and made friendships between people that would otherwise never have met. I’ve certainly learned of a lot of people from it and I really hope there’s a follow up to Cellbit's Quarentena that he did with other members.

But damn it has been so sad.

Also today was the reveal that there’s a Lego Zelda set! For months it had been rumoured that it was coming and I did think it was strange to set with the deku tree of all things, but damn the execution of it. Like there’s lil deku babas, the deku sprout, link’s house! The ocarina of time! Koroks! Hestu! And there’s three Links and a Zelda. And the pics have hints to so many other things too!

It’s a two in one set, which is again an interesting choice, so you can have either the Ocarina Of Time Great Deku Tree or the Breath Of The Wild version. On the one hand the OOT one looks nice, especially from a nostalgia standpoint. However the Breath Of The Wild one does look more asethitically pleasing (and the Koroks!). So I’ll probably go with the BOTW one.

I was so excited by the announcement I decided that it’d be the ‘big set’ I’d get for my birthday/Christmas and then mum decided to be so bitchy it killed my excitement completely (and drained me) that I think I’ll just get it for myself.

I feel so fatigued today but I had a feeling I would be. Between the trip out for Saw X Friday, the light night for Paranormal Order Saturday and then everything catching up with me yesterday and this morning….

But Paranormal Order was definitely worth the late night. It was about the same length as the first one, so 6 hours long, but damn it was so worth it. It really shows that Cellbit knows what he’s doing DMing the campaign because he did such an amazing job (though yeah he seemed so into the killing part). It makes me curious to see more! And it seems there might be more with this group, because he left a sequel hook at the end (and what’s the deal with Jeffery and the ring and the monster?) and there wasn’t a total party kill like some predicted (although two got lost, but I’m not sad about the one that got introduced this session and died). And just… ahh! I really hope the music gets posted somewhere too because it slapped.

(And yeah one kinktober idea is already switched out for something from this)

Cellbit did announce some merch based on the session, but the site is in Portuguese and I can’t tell if there’s an option to switch to English. I don’t know if anyone here knows any and could help find out if it does ship outside of Brazil? (Though I suspect they might add a translation as an option since the stream was in English and there’ll be a lot of interest) The site’s here if anyone has wisdom.

Also on Saturday I built the Lego orchid and it’s so cleverly done. The internal structure of the pot is so pretty, though it’s covered so you can’t see. (The covering, from bag 2, only had two pages in the instructions but was so time consuming because it was repetitive.) The flowers are pretty too and made using shoulder pieces, shields, forks and frogs, though you couldn’t tell. I wanna get a good picture of it, but it’s been dark and then Naryu hops into the window when I think of putting it there for a pic.

I wasn’t fully sure I’d do kinktober but then yesterday I suddenly got inspiration for the day 1 prompt. Of course the timing for said inspiration wasn’t the best (right before food and then there was other things later) so I’ve not been able to actually finish it, but then I never was gonna get things done on the days.

There was another session of Dungeons and Dodongos cause it was the DM’s birthday (I hope again that you had a nice birthday James!) and it was fun as always, navigating through the desert and then stumbling on the bad guys. We did most of one round of combat before deciding to finish which felt like a good place.

After that I took advantage of having the laptop open to make a bunch of icons, mostly from the qsmp meet up, so I’m gonna need to either get more icon slots or rearrange the ones I have. I’m gonna wait a bit to see if there’s more good pics (and Name Your Price).

Then there was a Jackbox game night with James and the DND party which was fun! We did the first games in character which was fun to do, though I admit that I was kinda glad the first one went wrong (Ahno’s not ready to reveal that first truth I had). And the others were fun too! I even managed to win! And did art that was actually semi decent. (And blood and semen became a running thing which made me laugh every time!) It was so fun I hope we can do it again, and I’d love to do it with other people too!

There was a qsmp meet up stream last night which was so fun if chaotic. I’m so glad these people all got to connect because it’s so awesome. And then I woke up to them having done karaoke and clips being put up which was wild. Especially Slime singing the Pokémon theme.

Because it’s spooky season I’m gonna try and do at least one spooky/scary thing a day. That can be watching something, playing something spooky, reading something or doing some of the spooky crafts I have. I know some days will be easy (since the Who ray eps count) and I also wanna watch at least one thing on shudder a week (next week is easy cause of the new VHS) and I wanna do some spooky gaming. So this week I wanna get back to the Dark Pictures Anthology with House Of Ashes. Im ready to be presently surprised because the trailer was the least interesting, but even if not Devil In Me is the next one and looks the best.

I wasn’t sure if I had a spooky thing for day 1 because I got so tired, but then I put on Badboyhalo’s qsmp stream (originally as a background thing) and bam! It was a full on scary stream. Bad does horror so well, playing q!Bad as being hysterical and scared and taunting. Someone please get him to read out scary stories, or get him to do more spooky stuff.

After crashing a bit last night and waking with a bit of a headache today has been a bit… ugh. Mainly because mum decided to do out the chest freezer, though the plus point meant we found things I didn’t know were there and some things are a bit more ordered. Then when we walked Naryu we had another minor scary as Naryu got out of her collar and tried to run off. Thankfully it was when we were at the reservoir so far from the road and we got her quick but still.

Now I’m gonna bundle up, try and work on the kinktober fic and speedrun the magic arena and marvel snap things.

So as I mentioned in the round up post, the second half of yesterday felt like a bunch of things kept happening all the time.

So first there was the new cover of Kerrang which is of Sleep Token and I…

The aesthetics of this. It led me down a little rabbit hole, because I wasn’t sure if this was just an outfit for a photoshoot or not. But no this seems to be Vessel’s standard attire and it is such a look.

Sleep Token fans also seem to be feral. I didn’t think to order it from the kerrang site (cause I’m going to Birmingham soon) but I checked later in the day and it was sold out. Not just a limited bundle (which I wish I’d seen because the print was cool) but their entire stock of the issue. Every other back issue is in stock (even the Maneskin one) but this one? Out of stock in less than a day what??

It be watched some of seapeekay’s stream which proved to be a good choice because he played some of his old band’s music which was so cool, and showed old content of himself (damn he looked like such a scene boy, it’s cute, I might have to watch some of his older vids). And then he sung along to MCR’s House Of Wolves which was something I didn’t know I needed.

There was a Nintendo direct yesterday, which was a bunch of remakes and some interesting looking games. I think the one I’m looking forward to most is the Princess Peach one, it just looks so fun! And the splatoon 3 dlc that opened it looked pretty interesting too.

I was having a conversation with

fleshdoll about how I expected my brain rot for Maxx to come back at full force (and instead had developed it for Seapeekay) and he must have sensed it because minutes later he posted he’d stream for the first time in almost two years.

Naturally all other plans went out the window, though I did watch some of Slime’s stream on the qsmp beforehand. It ended up being about him, Roier and Tubbo going through a maze and it was a mix of fun and utterly insane. I dunno why they decided to send these three together because… well none of them are a Cellbit, but damn it was fun to watch Slime and Tubbo fighting over a federation worker. And evil Cucurucho. And there was a roulette with lava.

Of course I switched out to Maxx’s stream (though thankfully they did the maze by then) and ahh it was nice to see him again. He’s so pretty and cute. It ended up being just a talking one, but lasted almost three hours somehow. He’s hoping to do more streams, although he’s not sure which games todo. There’s also a drumkit with his set up so he can drum too which would be pretty awesome! Hopefully he comes up with a schedule and next time I have more than a few hours warning, but it was nice to see him again.

And then there was Quackity and Rubius being together for the premier of Rubius’s show which was cute. I hope they add it to uk Amazon prime, it looks fun! (Even though I’m bad at subtitled stuff recently)

It seems something was in the air, because from clips I saw, the Foolish and Shoto fortnite stream ended up being pretty feral and unhinged. (That was what I was gonna watch but then Maxx).

Today I’d hoped to make icons and hunt for my drawstring bag for the gig but alas I didn’t because mum decided to be very... mum this morning. It’s a mix of being annoying about us not doing stuff lately (mostly due to the fridge) and also not ordering the Ninja thing she was gonna get Wednesday (despite me saying that she could) and it’s just so… ugh.

Hopefully I can bundle up now and write a bit soon, but we’ll see. At least a fun Voyager ep is on now, and my James magazine came this morning!

Proper update time and the past few days have been so…. Exhausting.

That’s mostly been down to the nonsense about the new fridge, because it’s been such a pain. Any time me and mum talk about it, or make any sort of decision, she disregards it.

This happened on each of the last free days.

On Saturday we discussed what we were going to do while walking Naryu, because I wanted things done when we got back because I was running in fumes (due to being tired from the previous day and having had a bad sleep) only for her to hold off on even looking until later in the day (and leaving when we started).

On Sunday there were no less than four times it looked like some decision was made. First we were gonna look at stuff online, then we were going to go to Wolverhampton to look in a place she thought was there, then it looked like we were gonna order from that place when we found it wasn’t there, then we were going to go to town to look at the place we weren’t Thursday.

Then today it went from, we’re going to town (as we agreed the night before) to her having found one online and then back to going to town.

UGH! It’s done terrible for my mental health, especially with how the stress has made her snappy and tempers have been bad. However even though we did go to town we ended up ordering that one she found anyway (so going was kinda pointless.

It’s coming Wednesday which isn’t exactly ideal, but at least it’ll be here. (Not fond of the inevitable panic to finishing moving things that will ensue.

Sigh.

Ok that parts over onto the better things, because there has been some.

First the Fantasy Prom was on Saturday. I’d been looking forward to it since I’d seen it on the list of ones being shown on tv and it was honestly so amazing! They played stuff from Lord Of Rings, Good Omens, His Dark Materials and Totoro among others. However the best one was that they closed with Duel Of The Fates which was so epic.

I’ve been neglecting gaming because of everything, but I did some Fortnite to distress and I managed to do the best I’ve done this chapter, including getting the first victory Royale on it! I’m thinking of using the vbucks opi have on some of the Star Wars stuff though I’m so frustrated with how the sequel trilogy stuff is bundled in comparison to the newer stuff.

(I’m also glad I didn’t get Starfield’s early access because there’s no way I could have enjoyed it or got the benefit)

I finally did the birthday fic thing I’d been working on since my friend asked so that’s up now (though I’m amused how short a time it took me to edit someone in), and fic inspiration has still been flowing for the fic which is also good. I just wish I was less stressed with all this and able to just do more.

I ordered the Set It Off Halloween stuff, which I’d wanted to do later in the month but it’s oddly limited till today so I either had to get it or miss it completely.

There was also Among Us last night with some of the QSMP members which was so fun to watch and I hope they do it again (ideally with Foolish!) it’s just a bit of a shame that my tiredness caught up and I zoned out part way through. Bleh.

I’d also hoped to watch Karl’s Star Wars vid last night cause it sounds epic, but I went too tired. I might watch it after this post because it’s fairly short.

We went to town today which was kinda pointless and needlessly exhausting (especially cause of the sudden heatwave which can fuck off) but there was good parts. I finally looked around The Range, which is a new garden center place and I got some spooky craft things from there (including a light up wooden skull!). Going to town itself also felt kinda pointless as we only went in a few places (boo Asda not having the Halloween Guinea pig sheets I hoped) but as an apology mum got me a wooden skeleton thing and some glow in the dark paint from the works.

I’ve not done much the rest of the day because I’ve just felt so wiped, but I did fic some. Now I’m gonna watch the Karl thing before getting some zzz.

So I meant to do a general update post soon, but I’ve been possessed by the spirit of the fic and it’s been taking so much of my time because the words have just been flowing for it (which is so crazy and it just keeps going).

Anyway Dungeons and Dodongos was fun on Sunday as always. What was less fun was my laptop deciding it needed to update as soon as I opened it and me frantically trying to make sure that it wouldn’t. I’m sure it was that that made my mic die part way through as well! Ugh. At least it wasn’t while I was holding a conversation or anything.

(I’m also endeavouring to be more social on the discord and other places, but that’s not entirely working)

I had an email from Set It Off with Halloween merch and it’s so cool looking! I’m definitely going to get the pumpkin one, but I’ve gotta wait and see what happens this month.

I’m glad my energy these past few days has been good, which has made a change from the past weeks we’re it’s been so low and annoying. It’s been a little crazy manic (see the fic) but it’s a good in general.

I’ve done a little more on Zelda but it’s not much, I’ve mostly been doing stable quests (somehow I missed one stable until now) and I think when I finish with them I’ll go to the gerudo desert finally. I’ve also done some stuff on ESO and I’ve almost finished on High Isle woo!

A few new people got added to the qsmp Monday, including some I already knew! I’m glad they added some more English and Spanish people. But it’s so absolutely wild how Tubbo has been. I watched the main event and some after but I got tired and woke to the most insane things. (But I’m glad they’re treating him like an adult and how nice everyone’s been to Niki)

Yesterday my build a bear Cinnamoroll came and he’s just so cute! Alas he came during lunch so I wasn’t able to open him until the night but he’s so 🤍🤍

I got him out just as we settled to watch Saw IV.

Today we went to take Naryu for a walk and mum finally felt like she had would be able to go and see the ducks… so of course it started to rain heavily and we had to turn back. Ugh! The weather lately has been so bad that’s the third time in the past week we’ve had that happen during walks.

Today was Ahsoka so I avoided spoilers on twitter to watch it.

Speaking of Ahsoka there were also new figure reveals lately and I really want the Huyang one! Though I have to admit I’m puzzled that they did an Ezra (based on his appearance in a tiny hologram) over Baylan and Shin. I hope they get figures announced soon because they’re both cool.

Now I’m gonna bundle up and get back to working on fic some more. Tonight there’s a Payday event that Seapeekay is meant to be in and I feel like there’s gonna be a twist. I feel it’s gonna be more than just gameplay, though that might just be wishful thinking.

Tomorrow we’re meant to be heading to town so I hope it goes well, so that mum is able to walk more. (I hope todays rain doesn’t put her off).

I always wanna get the birthday request post thing up in the next few days though we’ll see.

Oh and I also wanna check out Taskmaster New Zealand because I saw it was added to the channel 4 player and I’ve always been curious about the regional versions.

I had intended to do a June something or some other type of post but alas, no.

In part that’s due to this weekend’s weird weather. It’s been a mix of warm and trying to storm. It did rain a bit both yesterday and today, but seemingly not enough to cool things down and today’s especially was short. But either way it’s been too much to do much of anything.

Another part is that mum’s picked up some sort of bug and I’m not sure if it’s from the library or the trip out last week, but she’s been feeling rough (though is a little better) and now I’ve felt it coming in. Which is… not the best, but at least we don’t have any real plans.

Despite that I did a few things.
*I got to Genshin level 18 so now I’m on the last of the prologue quests woo!
*I listened to a Who audio, The Dalek Trap which was free with from a a magazine code. It was part of a boxset and it was the first one, so it’s clearly laying the groundwork for something from the final audio, which means a lot is left hanging which is a shame
*I watched Shoto’s stream yesterday which was stories from his trip which was sweet
*I watched The Mummy Tomb Of The Dragon Emperor and it’s… ok. I mean it’s good that they tried something different, you can’t fault them for that but it just felt kinda… I dunno.
*There was a qsmp mini event yesterday which was funny because of Foolish and Bad being spy’s and being terrible at it, but it was fun. Though now there’s a mysterious timer
*I finished Inscryption, has anyone else played it because I have some thoughts and questions and….
*I watched some twitchcon stuff, though net was spotty and I got the time wrong and missed the gen loss panel so will have to watch it when the vod is live

And yeah, the net is back to being spotty which is annoying as fuck. At least when it went off this morning it was because of one of the girls turning the router off somehow but it’s disconnected randomly a bunch of times today, ugh.

Randomly today I got hit by a depression wave of sadness and just… bleh. I wish it would go away. It came out of nowhere too and it’s just…. Lowered my mood so much and I don’t get why. Meh.

I’m not sure what I’m gonna do now, I did think of watching a film on tv but both are horrors and I’m not really in the mood for either. Maybe I’ll finally revisit Foolish’s Name Your Price. Or find something else.

So yesterday I ended up being up early again (ugh) but it meant I could, again, put more music on the new pod thing. I’m close to having all the main stuff on there I could need thankfully but it’ll still need a few more mornings,

While the music got copied over I decided to listen to one of the humble bundle Who audios I have. I’ve two bundles on there and I’ve only listened to a few before. YesterdayI settled on Destination Nerva, which was set on the Nerva beacon from Ark In Space and Revenge Of The Cybermen, although this was before all of that. (It was also set right after Talons too.) I was ok, but ugh the Victorian guys were utter assholes even before being taken over by the infection (I’m glad it killed them). But it was nice to hear Leela again and she posed another interesting question about the tardis: why does it travel in time as well as space? The doctor didn’t really have an answer but acknowledged it wasn’t a FAQ he’d gotten.

We ended up backtracking my steps to see if I could find my glasses. I hoped it would help since I at least had an old pair I could see with. Alas no such luck. Either they ended up in some undergrowth, someone picked them up and took them (or handed them in somewhere) or they ended up in the road. The latter seems less likely though as I saw no sign of anything smashed. Ugh

We then we put around the reservoir and saw some baby animals! There were 3 ducklings, seven cygnets (miraculously as they supposedly went down the fast flowing water) and the baby geese were around too! They were so cute and fuzzy and aww. (We’d spotted them Wednesday and they must’ve just hatched because aww)

Today is Zelda day and I’d hoped to get so much done before it. I’d hoped having a date would help but alas… I managed not to do the stuff I hoped (a mix of finishing fic, reading, gaming and watching stuff) which is kinda bleh. In an attempt to actually do one of the things I intended I went back on Pokémon Violet and was able to finish all three of the games different paths.

The team Star path actually gave me feels and made me feel sorry for them, to the point where I hoped they wouldn’t disband and was glad that they didn’t have to. The Elite Four were pretty straightforward though what’s with that test thing at the start from the cute one? Also I did the battle with Arven who I managed to be harder than the elite four and champion though still not too hard now I’d trained a bit. All that’s left is Area Zero which I did start and got to the third waystation before getting too tired (maybe I’ll try and do more while waiting for the delivery of Zelda)

Also last night was Eurovision semi final 2, which we could vote in. Alas it felt weaker than the first 1 (is it just me or is that always the case with the one we vote for?) however there were some good songs that I did enjoy, especially in the second half, though als some didn’t get through. I’m glad that Australia, Austria and Belgium got through and Cyprus because he was hot. And I know there’s someone else I liked that got through but my head feels kinda fuzzy (possibly cause I drank some Oop).

I had thought about squeezing in the time monster before sleeping but didn’t. Instead I watched Taskmaster which was fun as usual and then Quackity’s short stream which announced new people coming to the QSMP also there’s gonna be some French people whichll be joining in an event Tuesday. Hopefully they’re entertaining and I hope my mindset is better to watch streams soon too

I listened to the new Lovejoy ep but only this morning. Standouts (other than Call Me) is Portrait Of A Blank Slate and Scum though I can’t help but be annoyed at Spotify ruining the flow with ads. You’re meant to get ad free music for 30 minutes when you listen to them but they were playing after every single song and they’re not 30 minutes long! Ugh get it together.

Anyway I’m gonna head down now and wait for mail, maybe go on Pokemon and see if I get a promised update from Evri (I’m not hopeful)

It’s the start of Star Wars day related things, which has meant I’ve had a few emails about stuff. Disney uk is gonna be getting some new things in Thursday which makes me curious, especially since there’s a mystery box for free if you spend so much (though I dunno if I would spend that much we’ll see).

There’s also a Star Wars event in Fortnite which is so cool! They’ve added some new force powers in the game and Maul’s is clearly the best of the three. They’ve also added some new prequel content, there’s an event track to earn Clones (surprisingly they’re not variants of one thing and all individual) and Maul. Plus there’s also new packs for Anakin and Padme, though it’s odd that Anakin’s bundle has two more things than Padme’s yet they’re the same price. Although Padme’s does include her Nubian yacht as a glider which is so cool! I’m gonna be switching through the skins I have for the event, today’s was Fennec (cause she’s a badass) and I have 5 others (before I unlock more).

I was gonna go on Old Republic on the laptop to get an event freebie but it wasn’t installed on the laptop and took ages. Then when I went to log in it seems my character is gone. On the one hand it’s not too annoying as I wasn’t on there for ages and not too far in, on the other? It means I’ve lost the freebies I got during Celebration. I’ll have to find a way of contacting support but… ugh.

As for Star Wars day itself I don’t have much definite plans. I’m gonna watch Star Wars Visions season 2 (and whatever else they have) and the Xbox uk stream of Jedi survivor. I might finally give the new Timelines book a look through too, and I might do one of the Xbox games I have (racer, squadrons, Lego Star Wars, fallen order, I dunno whichever takes my fancy I guess).

Plus there’s voting that day too. I need to look more at the candidates.

While old republic was downloading I updated my icons so stay tuned for more of them (mainly fembur), I should probably switch others out too but we’ll see.

I had another lil look for my pod thing but it’s still awol which is so annoying. I’ve not seen it since the Lovejoy gig and it’s really irking me where it could have gone. I guess I’ll have to use the old one for free comic book day again.

I sent a message to Royal Mail to see if they had info on Las Nevadas tracking but I’ve not heard back yet, hopefully soon. I checked for a reply about the damaged who magazine and found it bounded back and went to spam so I sent one again, which seems to have gone through. Hope they reply soon.

Mum came back from the library today with a bunch of wild flower seeds. It turns out the library is giving them out (and bookmarks) for the coronation so if you’re in the uk and near a library see if they have some.

Mum’s friend also got us some paperwork to change doctors (I guess she had to go there herself and asked) so it looks like we are changing at last. So maybe they’ll be a bit more helpful. I guess we’ll see.

I’m thinking of doing a primer for the qsmp stuff soon so you guys (other than chai) know what the hell im talking about). I’ll need to find a bunch of pics for everyone so it won’t be for awhile, but hopefully soon.

Now though I’m gonna bundle up and rest cause I’m tired from the food delivery earlier. (And there’s a fall guys stream in a little bit.) I had hoped to fic but we’ll see if my fic brain works.

April monthly roundup time! Where has the time gone? Again there’s some things I’ve not done. I’m beginning to thing having books as a section was extremely optimistic. I meant to do some podcast listening (I’m so behind and added some interesting ones I heard of too) but I’ve just not got anywhere. I had hoped to fic some but between getting hit by block, celebration and sickness I’ve been unable to which sucks. I’m hoping to this week.

I also added cinema films as I saw two in April and will be seeing at least one thing in the cinema a month for the next two months so that’ll stay awhile.

The rest of mom’s birthday went pretty good. We watched three films, Fools Gold (which I mentioned in the last post and was pretty fun), Six Days Seven Nights (which was pretty good, if only to see Harrison Ford’s chest) and Guardians Of The Galaxy vol 2 (which is fun and feels inducing, and this time I realised Grandmaster appeared in the end credits which is so strange).

The cake ended up being nicer than I expected, though we didn’t eat much because we used a domino’s voucher to get pizza.

I did do some more cult of the lamb and I beat the silk cradle bishop woo! Now I don’t have to do more runs there for awhile because eww. So now there’s a thing with the one who waits but I’ve not tried it yet.

The qsmp was feels inducing thanks to Wilbur that night, (why does he have to go and leave sweet tallulah?) and then the eggs being missing yesterday. They did return after the new people arrived though the poor things did seem traumatised which is just more feels inducing.

Yesterday we watched Poirot and I didn’t do some more on Pokémon, beating the last gym and doing a team star base (so only one is left). Both were a bit easy because my pokemon are, somehow, more than 10 levels stronger than the opponents. So it does look like I can finish the game soon if I just… do it.

No sign of the las nevadas package still, I’ve tried chasing it up but no luck. The USPS tracking says it’s in the uk and when I got a reply they said it was handed to the Royal Mail. So I checked Royal Mail to see if it shown on their tracking and it says it’s in transit from America still so I’m at a loss. I might try chasing it up with them this week.

This week I’m hoping to do more on pokemon (and some other gaming), watching the time monster, fic and then it’s Star Wars day and free comic book day. And I wanna get some other things sorted. (That is unless my brain turns into a scribble again.)

what is your favourite fruits? (like top 5 maybe)

There’s a saying that came to mind when I saw this today about the difference between knowledge and wisdom. Knowledge is knowing a tomato is a fruit, wisdom is knowing not to put it in a fruit salad.

So in that sense there’s two ways of answering.

The knowledge way has peppers, tomato’s avocado and cucumber as favs, all of which I enjoy having in stuff like salads and sushi (and stuffed peppers too, but not the green ones green ones are bitter and bleh).

The wisdom ones are grapes (unironically), bananas, mangos, peaches and pineapple. Which are all nice. I do like most fruits in general (though I’m not a fan of oranges). I also like lime flavoured things but limes aren’t good things to eat alone like those things are. Also I don’t care pineapple on pizza is great!

I’m absolutely sure I’m forgetting an obvious things, as always with these things (I thought of some things for the food one after posting it for example)

Funnily I went on Microsoft rewards this morning and the poll was what’s your favourite fruit between mango and banana. I went with mango.

The past few days I’ve felt kinda eh which has been a mix of low energy (in part, I think from my head being chaotic Sunday) but also it’s been mentally low too (culminating in yesterday when my mindset crashed). I’m not sure if it’s a general depression/anxiety thing (though it feels like anxiety) but my eyes have been achy so it might be something else too. I did feel woozy this morning too so I am wondering if it’s some sort of sickness but I’m not sure.

Bleh.

Because of the aforementioned eyes aching I did put on the last the war Doctor audio on bbc sounds The Enigma Dimension. I did relate to Leela feeling (seemingly random) sadness though I don’t thing they used her too well in these stories. (Which I don’t think was helped by her being not herself in both). It’s also a bit sad because it’s the last one John Hurt did before he passed which is a shame. It was a good enough ep but I dunno. I think an issue with the war Doctor stuff is that they’re pretty depressing but not only that there’s the daleks constantly doing all these evil insane things during the war which are only barely stopped by the Doctor and time lords… so why haven’t the post time war daleks done this stuff? (And also the war doctor doesn’t want to be called doctor but he doesn’t provide an alternate name so people just call him it anyway)

A few days ago I saw Seapeekay mention playing marvel snap and enjoying it so I decided to try it and… it is, damnit. It’s actually quite good and I’ve been on it a fair bit these past days. Damnit

Magic arena had a new update with the new set and I had luck with the first of the free packs giving me a planeswalker. Unfortunately it’s Chandra, who is red and the rest of the packs I’ve had seem to be hardly giving me red stuff (or white for the Elspeth planeswalker I got too). Maybe I’ll do another draft to attempt to get a red/white deck (I’m kinda kicking myself not getting the red praetor in the other one I did). Maybe I’ll do that later

Qsmp has been cute and wild, Quackity decided to start a school for the eggs which felt like it would be nefarious but ended up being sweet with little tallulah and eggs doing adorable art. (I think whatever grief based revenge he was planning is gonna die) And then Wilbur went live yesterday at 2am which I missed so watched the vod this morning and awww Tallulah is the cutest bundle of sunshine and her little flute and awww! And of course Quackity comes and bes both a menace and horny. And Roier being so sweet.

But damn Quackity coming up with those eggs has been just a genius idea because everyone is so so attached (perhaps to an unhealthy degree) which is so sweet. I suspect they might be kept in the server longer than planned. But I guess we’ll see because there’s definitely something strange having too.

The las Nevadas merch is also finally on the way though tracking stopped a week ago in London (why would it need to take an internal flight instead of being driven?)

Again as mentioned above yesterday my mindset went weird all day and odd which was so annoying. Though there were some good things.

The Mandalorian finale was yesterday and after all the theorising and assuming something bad/heartbreaking would happen it was actually a great episode, resolving a bunch of things and also setting out how next season will go.

I also finally started Resident Evil 4 (deciding to do it instead of waiting to finished Resident Evil 2). The villain Leon outfit is so hot (and has glowy red eyes!) and I managed over two sessions (in the afternoon and night) to get to the end of chapter one and finding Luis gagged. Also it has a photo mode which’ll be useful for getting screencaps as long as I rememebr it (which I haven’t at times Oop).. so expect a Leon or Luis icon soon.

There was alsoIndie world showing off some new upcoming indie games for the switch,most of which sound interesting. I think the one I’ll definitely get is Oxenfree 2 (I remember enjoying the first one) while other ones I want more info on. Also cult of the lamb’s new update goes leave next week! Woo! Today my mindset seems a little better but as mentioned I feels woozy (and my stomach feels funny) so I hope lunch will help settle it but if not? I dunno.

Zelda is in three weeks now and I’ve not done anything to any of the three things I wanna do before it comes out: finish reading Lesser Known Monsters, do more/finish Pokémon Biolet (which I’ve not been back on in so long Oop) and finish fic (which even looked at in a few days annoyingly). I wanna get all three done by then but hopefully I can do at least one before Zelda takes over my focus.

14: What's your favourite kind of weather, and what do you like to do on days like that?

So this I have two main answers and it all depends on one thing: if I have to be outside in it.

See I love stormy weather (despite it giving me headaches sometimes) I love going to bed and hearing the heavy rain come down against the windows. I do like playing something spooky too while there’s rain (or watching a horror thing) cause it adds to it. However a storm is not good weather to be outside in, especially if you’re far from home.

So if I’m outside I like there to be nice weather, so sunny but not… warm. (See last summer when it was absurdly hot and I couldn’t do anything). In that weather it’s nice to walk Naryu and we tend to take her a bit further (we haven’t recently due to bad weather and mum’s ankle still aching sometimes).

I also like snow,as it’s good weather to be out in as well as watch. Though it often means here that there’s ice under it which makes walking treachous. Though our old pup loved the snow so much he’d go crazy and roll in it so much he’d look like a sheep, which was always cute.

There’s a few foods that I really like. I love veggie sushi, and blue Doritos are my snack of choice when watching stuff at home alone. (I need to get more I dunno why they’re becoming harder to get)

I also love chilli cheese things though they can be subjective. Sometimes they overdo the chilli, other times they underdo it. I’ve had times when, from the same packet, they have been both extremes and the inconsistency can be so annoying,

Something I’ve not had for awhile, but really love is having a Pizza Hut buffet deal where you pay so much and can just have as much as you can. Yeah it’s random and it depends on the selection and how busy It is but if you get the right time? It’s so good.

And there’s also taffy, which I love but it’s so hard to find here. I did find a uk place one time but didn’t have the money to make an order at the time and I dunno if I saved the link. (And jelly beans are nice too!j

Yesterday my head was so annoying because I woke and it went haywire which ended up being so draining and bleh. There was a minor version this morning mouth much much less. Ugh

Wilbur made his return to the QSMP at his weekend and, after being dismissive about the eggs he found that there was another hidden away in the adoption center, a lone egg left alone in an attic (and surviving on dirt) and despite protests he pretty much got attached instantly. Tallulah is so sweet and so adorable, she has a little flute and plays music and does the cutest little signs and is just so adorable.

Already Wilbur is so attached, enough to stream two nights in a row (and possibly more!) although yesterday he was also so unhinged, horny for quackity and asking if Philza was a bottom.

There is another QSMP event tonight, a funeral for the lost eggs, which feels like it could either be super super emotional or a a complete disaster because of Quackity. I guess we’ll see (especially since Slime and Maxo are trying to bring their eggs back)

If there is an issue with the qsmp it’s that I’ve become so involved with the streams that it’s become hard to like, plan out other things. I’d hoped to do more gaming, or watch stuff (maybe even the list of the Chai things to watch together and I’ve also got Who stuff to watch) but with the streams it’s hard to actually do it because I get distracted by them (especially when slime did his attempted roaring rampage of revenge which failed entirely.)

And since I mentioned unhinged things, Tommy posted a new vlog which was absolutely insane because Tubbo went off the rails and it was kinda… especially with James tied up and the gun. It honestly felt like a fever dream.

We walked today Naryu and went to see the ducks and, just before we came back, I saw that there were ducklings! There were about 4, though there might have been more (they were near the reeds)

Anyway I’m gonna rest now, I might go on Pokémon but we’ll see.

Thursday ended up being tiring cause of heading down to the new pay point, which is such a nuisance. Thankfully we got back just in time to for the delivery of the Seapeekay youtooz plush, which is so cute. I posted it had came on twitter and, to my surprise, he noticed and replied despite not being tagged, which was pretty sweet.

Taskmaster was pretty fun that night too, Jenny Eclair is definitely having a whale of a time and that’s so sweet. I also new expected a prize to be nsfw art of Wolverine and Captain America which is… a wild sentence and now I’m curious what it was unblurred

QSMP stuff ended up being wild, from the insanity of the trial on Wednesday night which resulted in the relief of Juanaflippa being revived (and the the craziness of Mariana and Slime after). Only to wake Friday and watch Slime’s vod from Thursday to find a lot of mood whiplash (including in him accidentally killing Tilin). And then all the feels that resulted last night from Luzu and Quackity only for Marianna to have accidentally killed Juana again in the same manner as Tilin. It’s all so sad and all so full of feels, and all over dragon eggs in Minecraft.

It’s actually kinda ridiculous how sweet and sad the whole thing is. While Mariana’s accidental misclick resulted in a trial to revive her will the same happen again? Will Luzu bring them back with his weird robot!Luzu? Will angel!Rubius? Or will Quackity just go on his roaring rampage of revenge like Slime attempted (though I feel his will be less funny and more competent). (And will anyone care about the other lost egg Trump?) I guess we’ll find out.

The excitement of the new Zelda trailer has renewed my hype for it and it also means I’m gonna endeavour to finish Pokémon violet and the fic I’m working on by then because I just know it will take over. I’m sorry for the person I’ll become the moment it’s released (and I’ll be hunting down Prince Sidon asap)

The new Waterparks album came out yesterday and I was able to fit one Spotify listen in between everything. I’ll have to listen properly but my favs seem to be End Of The Water and Fuck About It. That might change with further listens, though I’m not sure when I will.

I also noticed yesterday the mandalorian from my micro galaxy speeder had gone awol. When I noticed it was too dark to properly look, but I hope it’s just fell straight down and not flung off. An annoyance with the scout class micro galaxy stuff is so many seem to be… difficult to pose and keep on them securely so I should have been more careful.

I meant to start Resident Evil 4 last night, but between qsmp giving me feels hen feeling hungry and watching a Who ray special feature as I ate I was just too tired. The special feature was so sweet though, with Katy Manning travelling and visiting locations. She even got to ride the tri bike they used in day of the daleks! It all just looked so fun.

A few last things on celebration now that it’s wrapped up.

It’s kinda hard to get excited about some things because they’re so evasive, share nothing with people at home or when they do there’s just vague concepts. So it’s hard to get too excited about upcoming projects with minimal information.

Having said that I think the show I’m most excited for has become the Acolyte, even though I’ve not seen anything the passion of the people involved shines through. I’m cautiously optimistic about Ahsoka because it looks cool I’m still a bit uncertain about the voice actors being selectively discarded. Then there’s the whole bringing Thrawn back which as a concept I’m not thrilled by either. But I guess we’ll see it could all work really well.

And then there’s Visions which is the other thing I’m most excited about, because, again, the passion of the people involved shines through and the concepts all sound so awesome. Plus we get to see Aardman do Star Wars and it looks like it’ll be so funny!

Last night was the final Dreamsmp stream because of the timing I was only gonna watch a bit but I ended up watching all of Tubbo’s stream (I should’ve gone to someone else later I might watch the vods of someone) but it was kinda full of feels.

I know I came to it towards the end as things winded down but it was quite emotional watching people go to these places and interact with each other. Though it is a shame certain people weren’t there too and did get a chance to be a part of it. (How much of that was by choice on their part I’m not sure)

But the whole thing does feel sad. I think, on my part, it’s because it kinda felt there was a lot of missed opportunities. What was the deal with Foolish and Eret? Eryn becoming a knight, the plan to revive Ranboo (that never went anywhere), Sapnap having the death book. And there’s bound to be other things I can’t think of. It’s a shame that so many cool ideas just didn’t go anywhere. (And of course tales which the last vid was such a cool thing and then it went nowhere too.)

I wonder how much was a result of poor communication, how much was the result of other things coming up and how many didn’t want to when Techno passed. Which is so sad, because the two streams with him I watched (the prison break and saving Micheal) were just so exciting and some of the best stuff.

I’d say the best finales (which I’m so glad we got) were the egg one and the Las Nevadas one, although it’s a shame both left some things hanging (what was the deal with Ranboo randomly in Las Nevadas finale in the afterlife) but also Punz being hot as a villain in Tommys was just so unf.

But yeah it’s so sad it’s over. I’ll miss the summer home and the museum and everything else and I hope the map goes up at some point (seriously, put it up in the store, make it so most/all of the money goes to the sarcoma foundation and everyone would get it).

By contrast the qsmp stream I watched was crazy with Slime’s descent into madness over his egg being accidentally killed by his partner. The thing is it could have gone so dark so easily but it didn’t, primarily because every attempt Slime did to kill the other eggs (in an attempt that it would reset and bring his back) went so wrong. Through a mix of his incompetence, everyone being so well kitted out and, in Philza’s case, made the egg’s home fucking impregnable. Thankfully slime got talked down and now there’s a court case happening (with a sacrifice?) which is just wild.

The whole qsmp has such insane chaotic energy which I love, although I miss a lot because time zones but seeing clips when I wake is mental. And Vegetta and Foolish are so sweet. Hopefully Wilbur is on once the tour is finished because I need to see him and Luzu and Quackity (hopefully the event keeps going so he can be a part of it)

Today, after debating because of weather, I went to the small new Game and got a few of the Star Wars Black series figures in the sale. I got Reva from Obi-Wan, Magistrate Greef from The Mandalorian and a Luke in a fancy box. Alas going was tiring cause I rushed so now I’m a bit tired so I’m just gonna flop, watch stuff and maybe write or game later.

Annoyingly my eyes have been achy since making the last post so I’ve not done as much as I was wanting to do. Since it started post gig I’m not sure if it’s just a post gig thing or something else. It was still bad yesterday but it seems to have eased now.

I was able to upload pics from the gigs so they are here I split pics into three posts (pre gig stuff, James Marriott and Lovejoy). I do have more but those seem to be the best. i had a little look at the videos and was surprised that the audio was so good. I mean the video obviously isn’t the best causa the distance but the audio really surprised me.

After Lost In Time not working and losing my progress I found out it wasn’t an isolated incident to me because the company finally addressed it (but only in an insta post). They also said that people shouldn’t uninstalled the game else they’d lose progress…. But that’s a standard thing people do when there’s an issue and this was posted days after it started. So naturally it’s pissed people off and it’s made me wary about doing anything on it again. Which is a shame because I was enjoying it. Hopefully they can fix it but until then?

Speaking of Who the new Who magazine came this morning not that I’ve had chance to look at it yet.

Also yesterday cinema times were put up for the week, DND only has a nighttime showing on Friday. However from Saturday there’s three showings so we’re gonna go then and aim for the 1pm showing. I’ve heard such good things so I’m really excited! (There’s no times for Mario yet though)

There was a new Zelda gameplay vid yesterday and it looks insane. There’s a new ability called fuse and I can tell people are going to do mad things. From the video itself it was used to make a makeshift hammer, a giant poking device and a raft (complete with engines!). It was also revealed some things from the last trailer were made with this ability instead of finding them in game. I swear people are going to make some absolutely insane shit (not me though I don’t think I’m creative enough but still)

I didn’t watch much qsmp stuff yesterday but foolish is making the head of his dragon. I did watch some of his stuff post the gig Monday and that was some wild stuff. A robot Luzu? Agreeing to raise a chicken with Mariana? Saying what he likes to do in bed is undo handcuffs? He’s insane. But I love how many people love him, he has this natural himbo charm that’s impossible to resist.

Today there was The Mandalorian so thoughts ahoy.

I’m hoping this week to get back on Resident Evil 2 (before starting 4) and also to watch something on shudder. Of course this depends on people not streaming and my eyes not aching. I can see either of those things happening and distracting me.

Once this post is done I might go on Fortnite cause there’s an update today and then… I dunno what todays plan is really. I might read some of the who magazine too but we’ll see.

I’m in two minds about Insomnia still. It’s next weekend and there’s still no panel times which is annoying. If there was a Resident Evil panel (which there should be) I’d be more inclined to go but if there’s not? I don’t think I will. I think it’ll all end up being an expense which is annoying (and it’d also mean missing whatever is from Celebration too).

The rest of yesterday ended up being a pretty lazy kinda day (though for some reason not restful). The Xbox uk stream ended up being half Resident Evil 4 (which I half watched, mostly because I wanted to avoid too much) and Not For Broadcast (though I ended up half watching that too, but every time I looked at the screen I had no idea what was happening).

During the first half I built up the Lego Easter rabbits, though it felt a bit unnecessary to have the parts spread across 7 bags for a set this size. The two bunnies are cute, though it’s odd there’s no real space on the stand for the eggs and flowers. For the second half I went on dreamlight valley and got most of the things from the star path (there’s just moonstones which I can live without, especially as one thing requires a lot of resources that seem hard to find).

I watched a few QSMP streams though it wasn’t quite as active as the intro stream. Foolish has predictably started a huge building project for himself. Quackity has been flirting with everyone (and ahh him and a foolish is so sweet though). And it seems some of the Spanish guys have started a cult? Though I’m not sure on the details.

It also seems there’s a lot more to the server than a standard one. There’s some Zelda like elements to it, including dungeons and little totems that are like statues in breath of the wild. Plus there’s paragliders. It makes me curious what else will be found. I hope a bunch of people get together to tackle a dungeon, fit and foolish tried but didn’t get far before wisely retreating.

I did manage to finish the last of the day of the daleks special features, which I’m glad about. One was a blue Peter clip that must’ve been made before the ep was confirmed as it had a clip from Daleks master plan which is the first I’ve ever seen (and, ironically, it included the guy the Brigadier played in it).

There was also a new Set It off song, which is heavier than Elsewhere’s stuff. I’m curious what the video will be like, so I’m wondering if one will be out soon.

Today we went to see the ducks for something different and instead saw grebe out in the water! It looked like there were two so maybe they’re a pair? It’d be interesting if they are, their mating dance looks so impressive but I’ve never seen it.

No Picard thoughts which is… a bit mixed.

My energy is a bit off these past days which is annoying. I’m hoping to rest some this weekend but I get the feeling I won’t get as much rest as I’d like which is annoying.

Resident Evil 4 is out today so I’m gonna avoid spoilers (which is an odd thing since I’ve played the original 3 times on different systems). I have it good to go (thanks xbox rewards points for covering most of it) but I want to try and finish Resident Evil 2 first. I say as if I haven’t only done the intro section. I had hoped to go on it a few nights this week but because of my energy (or lack thereof) I didn’t.

In two weeks is Insomnia and I’m debating if I should go. I’m still waiting on the schedule, because they have a lot of Resident Evil people there (I think it’s 5 now) there’ll be a panel or two which I’d like to see, but we’ll see. It’s also Star Wars celebration that weekend so it also means if I go I’ll miss one stream (though I can catch up). Again I guess we’ll see.

So yesterday afternoon wasn’t as restful as I hoped. Pretty much as soon as I made that post yesterday mum had a call from her friend from the library (the one who had leg trouble) asking if she wanted to go with her to home bargains in half an hour. Even though I was tired I agreed to tag along. It was another hour (of just waiting around, unable to do anything) until we actually went.

It wasn’t too exciting there, though I got mum another Easter egg with a mug, the sports direct next to it has followed other ones and now has a Game in it, so that’s useful if I ever want something from one. It was only in one corner but there was a lot of black series Star Wars figures.

When I got back I was wiped so I ended up heading up to lie down, although I couldn’t actually settle to have a rest. Ugh.

However I was rested up even to watch all of Quackity’s qsmp stream. Honestly the whole thing felt like a fever dream/hallucination because of all of the wild things that happened. Wilbur being slutty, foolish having a boyfriend, a rap battle, cute introductions and such an awesome opening thing. There was clips from other peoples streams too which were all insane as well. Bad and Foolish going on adventure (and badly singing Linkin Park), Wilbur inviting Luzu to Brighton, Spreen being a menace. There’s so much wildness and I know I’ve missed stuff I’ve seen. I’m so tempted to watch vods but I’m not sure when I’d actually be able to.

I’m curious if it’ll be like… a regular thing for people (Quackity did mention events) so I’ll have to keep it in mind. I’m sure Foolish will be on it most because he does such long streams and I can already envision him building something huge already.

I was gonna watch the who ray stuff but instead I got tired and watched Eret do portal.

I’d offered mum to come with me when I see one of the upcoming films and it seems she must have seen something about Dungeons and Dragons because now she’s thinking of taking me up on it and coming to see it next week.

Gig is in a few days and I’m still anxious about it in part because of the Set It Off fiasco but also because it feels like I can’t properly rest before or after it. (And also, worrying mum might fall or do something stupid)
