1. you're put in charge of a brand new name your price! who would be the contestants, and the host? any predictions on who would take the w? would everyone be in crazy/sexy/silly outfits??

Well if it was completely new (without Austin and Will hosting) I think Foolish might make a good host like he’s very charming in his silly way. Quackity would be a good co-host though he’d probably just thirst over him.

As for contestants, I’d like Seapeekay, Shoto, Blau, maybe Owen? Ohhh or Wuant! I’d definitely want them to wear sexy and slutty outside. I just know that Blau would show skin and flirt with foolish (and shoto too)

Name Your Price is an odd game to work out who’d win, because it’s very much luck based weather than skill based. I feel it’d be between Seapeekay and Shoto.

(Though damn now I wanna watch Foolish’s episode again now)

Now! If it wasn’t a streamer version but musician version I’d probably keep the hosts the same, but contestants would be James, Maxx, Awsten and Jay. Again, slutty outfits and I feel Awsten would definitely try and flirt his way through it, or just be a menace.

I feel that James could win this one, since he’s done so many of those videos with Willne comparing different priced things that might give him an edge.

2. if you were to go on a trip to america, are there any particular state/states or city/cities you'd like to visit? you don't have to say boston but you totally should /j or would you want to visit canada or mexico?

We’ll I’ve only been to America once before and that was Florida which isnt exactly a place I’d wanna go back to cause of the government there.

I’d wanna see you of course! I dunno what’s in Boston so you could show me interesting things.

I do wanna go to Disney to see the Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge stuff, because that looks so cool!and I’d like to go to Monterey bay aquarium. Oh and to see that Mothman statue! I’m sure there’s other places I’d wanna see but my mind’s gone blank (I’m sure there’s something super obvious)

I’d wanna go to Canada too cause it looks pretty, as does Mexico! Though I don’t have any specific plays in mind.

3. you're trapped in a room in a horror situation. which would you choose out of these options? a) something paranormal is going down. the room is haunted by ghosts, or maybe you've been possessed by a demon. none of these entities are friendly. b) there's a slasher in the room/building, and they are not easy to kill. think jason from friday the 13th, something like that. or c) you're in a jigsaw trap. any idea how you would escape?

I feel option b would be the one I’m drawn to, cause I think I might be able to hide. Though I. Not fast so if it comes to a chase…

I feel I’d bad luck out to a hard trap if i went with that and I feelghosts might be tricky to escape.

4. there's a star wars/legend of zelda crossover in the works. what would your ideal one look like? would it be a game, a movie, a series, or something else?

Ohh I kinda feel like they’re two things that would be difficult to crossover if that makes sense

I dunno what medium would be best for it but I feel the plot line would be along the lines of ‘SW ship gets attacked/malfunctions and crash lands on a planet that turns out to be hyrule’ type thing, with the survivors trying to figure the place out and finding a way home. Along the way they’d encounter all the different hyrule races and make friends to figure out how to repair their ship.

5. are there any british reality tv shows you watch? (this can be anything, competitions, cooking, singing/dancing, whatever as long as it's real people) would u recommend them?

There’s a few that I watch, though some I only half watch (in the sense mum watches them and I’m just… there doing my own thing)

First is the Great British Bake Off, which is a cooking show where people bake. They make all kinds of things, bread, biscuits, cake and I feel that this is pretty well known outside of the uk? It’s one of those shows that enjoyment varies, you have to really have good challenges and people who are ‘characters’ to make it enjoyable.

The Great British Sewing Bee and Pottery Throw Down are both crafting ones, one with clothes making and 5e other with pottery. Both can be enjoyable and it’s impressive what people make, but usually I don’t properly watch them you know?

I feel there’s another I watch too that I can’t think of right now.

1. Is there a game you've played that you wish had a sequel? Which one?

I’ve mentioned it before but Eternal Darkness. It’s a game for the GameCube, one of the first ones I got and it has such an interesting premise. You play as various characters throughout history, who are impacted by an ancient evil. As such each section is wildly different in both setting and style, which I remember being fun.

However the most memorable thing about it was the insanity system. As you encountered enemies it would take its toll on the characters (as the enemies are largely eldritch entities) and this would increase your insanity. This would cause various things to happen in game. Sometimes you’d see things that weren’t there, or a fly across the screen…. Or an error screen saying you’d lost your save.

I’d love there to be a sequel, or even a remaster! But it seems unlikely as the studio is long since gone. But the insanity thing is such a cool idea.

Also there’s Hotel Dusk, which was a game on the DS and used both screens to their fullest as you investigated a hotel. This at least did have a sequel, but again, the studio is gone so it’s unlikely to get a thing else.

2. What's your favourite horror movie?

Again, I’m sure I’ve said this before, but it’s Trick R Treat. It’s a film I watch every year on Halloween and it’s the perfect example of an anthology film done right. The segments are all set in the same town, which means they all weave together.

It’s not the scariest or most gory of films, but I still love it so much. And if you love Halloween and you’ve not seen it you definitely should.

3. Do you have any songs or even a playlist you like to listen to on rainy days?

Not really, I mostly like to just lay back and listen to the rain, especially when it’s heavy. It’s nice just to do that but we haven’t had a proper storm for awhile.

4. If you could visit any 5 cities in the world and money was no object, which would you choose?

Of all the questions this was the hardest and I’ve had it milling in my head awhile and still don’t fully have an answer. I thought that something obvious would come to mind if I thought on it, but alas.

I’d like to go to Tokyo, because I’ve always wanted to visit Japan and that seems like a good place to visit (even though it’d be crowded and might be overwhelming).

The rest are gonna be more general places than cities. I’d like to go to Australia, but not for myself, but to take mum. It’s always been her dream to go there and I’d like to take her to go and see the koalas and such.

I’d like to see the Amazon, I think it’d be amazing to see the jungle even though it’d be overwhelming in terms of heat.

And in a similar vein I’d also like to go somewhere like Chichén Itzá, I think it’d be interesting to see.

And I wanna go somewhere to see the aurora. I know there’s places in good spots, but I’m not sure where they are.

So yeah that’s not an interesting response, mostly because I’m sure there’s something more specific that escapes my brain. I know I’ve watched tv shows and thought ‘I want to go there!’ And I know now I’ve done this one will come to mind in minutes

5. If you could have any animal for a household pet aside from typical ones, which would you choose?

I’m gonna answer in two ways. First are non typical animals that are pets and that’s axolotls (I love their lil smiley faces!) and sugar gliders (which are so cute and smol). Or crabs! They’re not as unusual but I like their claws

But then if it was any animal ever I’d say a capybara because they’re so chill and bats (though I’d not want the bats as pets, just… have them somewhere so they have a safe roosting place.)

My mood the last few days has been very… changeable. It’s very annoying and very exhausting but the mood seems okish now so I’m not gonna get into it now. (Not that there’s anything specific to get into because it’s just depression being depression)

Over the past few days I’ve seen two films.

The first was Elevator Game on shudder. I didn't go in expecting much and that’s what I got. It’s an ok horror film, though it feels like it doesn’t do enough with some of its concepts so it makes it largely forgettable (though the cast do give it a good try).

Second was the new Haunted Mansion, which was was fun for the most part, though it did feel a little overlong (especially with one section that felt like a fetch quest). But still it was good and again, the cast did a good job and had good chemistry.

After an announcement trailer last week, the Animal Crossing lego sets got revealed today. I think that they largely look cute, though I think it’s strange how sets only have a max of two villagers. It feels like the bigger ones definitely should have at least one more. I love that Julian is in the cheapest of the sets so I can get him easily, but it’s also sad that it’s a birthday set and he’s all alone. I’ll have to get another one so he has a friend. I fully expect there’ll be a second wave with KK and such later on.

Creativity has been strange. On Saturday I had three fics I was hoping to work on, but between then and now I have started to more which isn’t too helpful. Also mood has meant I’ve not done as much as I’d hoped which is also a nuisance. I might be able to finish one later, but we’ll see.

Today we were walking back with Naryu and I had a mailman come up to us with a package. I couldn’t think what it could be, but it turned out to be the tentacle kitty set I’d backed on kickstarter last year. The kitty and outfit is so cute, but I think the best thing is the huge mimic chest, which I think I’ll use for dice.

Tomorrow we should be making a trip out to Birmingham. I’m not really looking for anything specific, so it’s mostly a trip out really. (Though it seems my pod thing is awol again and I’ll have to look for it)

Also, uk people, the Interview With A Vampire show us coming to bbc 2 on Thursday so if anyone has been looking for that… (has anyone seen? Is it worth a look?)

I did end up watching Brightburn Saturday night. It was pretty creepy and I’m glad I went in blind. I dunno if it’s something I’d watch again though, unless they decide to follow up on the sequel hook at the end.

Sunday was another lazy day. I had thought about watching something, I thought about putting a film on ot Falcon and the winter soldier but watched neither. Oops. I did end up reading the next Thirteen Storeys which is probably odd cause I don’t usually book read on weekends. The weather was also pretty bad, like it has been lately.

For some reason I have been on Fallout Shelter on the switch a lot lately and I’m not sure why. It’s equal parts fun and annoying, mostly because anytime I seem to make process something happens. Plus earning caps is annoyingly long.

I’ve also done some more on Valhalla, which included Eivor hooking up with a guy (woo!) and doing the Cent arc (and finally getting rid of Dag cause he’s an ass). The Cent arc felt a bit… I’m not sure. Usually when you complete an arc in a region you end up forming an alliance with something, which is the point. With Cent there wasn’t that, partly because the main person it seemed that you would get an alliance with ended up being killed (though there’s no loss there he was an ass). I’ve started the Essexe arc last night which seems like it’ll be less heavy. (It seems I’m in a very AC mood for some reason, I either done do much with the storyline for ages or end up enthralled)

Yesterday ended up being a tiring day. It was thankfully sunny and dry, so we went off to pick up the meds and pet food, which has ended up making me achy. (But it’s over a mile each way so you can’t blame me.) Since money was in I used the Argos code I had to get that wired controller for the Xbox and I picked it up. It’s very pretty and it works fine. In fact it seems my issue with the colonists was down to the other controller so maybe it’s the same with other issues in Valhalla and civilisation? We’ll see I guess.

In sainsburys I picked up the new Blocks magazine cause it has a big article about the new Lego R2 (it looks nice but I don’t think I’ll get). They had a Bulbasaur vinyl figure, which looks like the same size as funkos but llooks smiley and with nice eyes so I think I’ll pick him up sometime. I got some of the new Looney Antunes Lego blind bags too. I was hoping for Taz, Road Runner or Willie, but I got Sylvester and tweety, which it’s nice to get a pair even if it’s not the ones I most wanted

We got pet food from pets at home as well as a new retractable lead for Naryu, so now she can have a bit of a roam around. We also got a few things from the m and s food, most of which were discounted. The trip was the first trial of the Star Wars masks from Disney and while they look and fit nice, they were so warm which got to me and mum (so it wasn’t just me).

There also a Burger King down there, which I don’t usually pay attention to since I’ve always been McDonald’s but they had an affordable halloumi wraps which loook, Unf. The site says they have halloumi burgers too and now I wanna try.

The rest of the day was mostly resting, though I didn’t nap much like I usually do from such trips. I did go to Milo’s island on animal Crossing for the first time in awhile and that was nice, especially since I was able to help him pay off the bridge and find bugs. There was Inside No 9 last night too and it’s as twisty as it usually is, which was fun. And I did the colonists to see if I could and it was cute though I was puzzled at how everything just… stopped.

There was also a new trailer for the Doctor Who Season 24 boxset and it looks fun so I’m looking forward to it… though in true collection fashion it’s been delayed again. It was meant to come out in the first week of June and now it’s put back to the 21st. And just after I told mum it looked like they wouldn’t be a delay with it!

I ended up getting the Sims 4 snowy escape expansion cause it was on sale (and I used some Xbox credit so it was virtually nothing), which I guess means I really need to get back on Sims 4. I guess I was disillusioned with it cause the Star Wars one feels like a slog to do but I wanna do the ambition or whatever it’s called before moving onto the game proper we’ll see.

Today I’m gonna try and read some more and then there’s the first Eurovision semi tonight (I have the Netflix film added to my list to watch before Saturday). I might try and fic some more, I’m between two fics, one that’s angsty one that’s porny so we’ll see. There’s also the food shop that’s coming though there’s been some subs, boo.

(I meant to start the uni assessment this morning but I was too tired and my back was so achy so I didn’t want to sit up and mess with the lappy)

I’ll be honest, it surprises me how much kudos this has. Indeed, every so often it’ll get another kudos or two out of nowhere and I’m not entirely sure why. Maybe it’s because BVB, despite being pretty boys, lacks gsf. I dunno.

2015

Pretty Sure That’s Not A Piloting Term - Star Wars - Finn/Poe - 77 kudos

Poe keeps a watch over Finn and Finn learns Poe has a nickname.

Another smut fic, though this was sweet too. It’s one of my few Star Wars fics. Even though I ship Finn/Poe I’ve never really ficced or read them alas. Obviously this was done before The Last Jedi, which of course means it’s wrong but ah well.

2016

So 2016 was a quiet year fic wise at least on ao3 for me. After playing the game Quantum Break (Which is pretty good, by the people that did Alan Wake), I did this fic. (Because if you show me two attractive brothers I’m going to ship them.) The title is Latin, meaning time flies which is appropriate as the game features time travel (I actually got the name from an X-Files ep of the same name).

So this was the last fic I posted last year (seriously it was posted December 30th) and I’m kinda surprised it’s the most kudos’d fic. As most people following me will know, last year was pretty rough for me. I decided to do this fic for someone that had helped me through it. I’d not done a 1D fic before, so I mostly went by what I’d seen on her tumblr. As it turns out, that was the way to go as I was told I got their characterisation perfect.

2019 (So far)

First - The Umbrella Academy (TV) - Diego Hargreeves/Klaus Hargreeves - Kudos 419

Diego hasn’t been able to get Klaus out of his head since they reunited.

So now we are in this year and you can see how active I have been this year on ao3. Three pages pages of my ao3 works are solely from this year. So not only is this fic the most kudos’d fic this year for me it’s the most kudos’d fic overall. In fact most of my The Umbrella Academy fics are at three figures with the kudos which is really surprising to me. Someone on the kliego discord also pointed something out to me, that this is the very first Diego/Klaus fic in the ao3 tag for the show, which is just so odd (and awesome too).

So I’m gonna head off now, mum wants to get Naryu done for her jabs today but I suspect it won’t be that easy to get her sorted this last minute. We’ll see.

Saturday was kinda eventful. In the last post I mentioned setting up a discord, which everyone is very much welcome to join! There’s not many people there yet so it’d be great to have a space with more mcr people encouraging each other)

I meant to watch Good Omens this weekend but time got away from me. I watched Toy Story 2 cause it was on tv and managed to finish the last fic.

I gave up on Gucamelee 2 Friday so on Saturday I did some on Fallout 76 and yesterday started Call of Cthulhu. It’s pretty gory and the vibe is dark and gloomy, but I’m intrigued by it. Though I missed out on an achievement cause I drank twice, gah! Ah well. I’m gonna get back on it tonight.

The main even pot of the weekend was when we walked Naryu Saturday. I was feeding the geese and she got out of her lead and chased them... right into the pond. She swam a full 3 meters before having an ‘oh shit’ moment and turning to swim back to shore. I was so worried I’d have to jump in after her! We got her back hone and had to run three lots of water in the bath to get her clean. Poor pup. Hopefully she’s leaned not to do it again.

Today the time seems to have got away from me, so I’ve not looked into my next uni course like I was going to. I did read Queen’s Shadow some more and I’ll definitely be reading it more this week.
