Yesterday was a lazy day since I was achy from Wednesday. I did end up downloading some music before zzzing a bit. I also watched the Fenric panel and finished finding stuff in Cryrodil on ESO.

Today I went to pick up mums meds since the storm was due and I’ve just watched the new Picard ep. Thoughts under the cut

How many holos of himself does Rios have on his ship? This ep introduced two more and just.... if there’s not fic of him and them I’ll be disappointed in people.

Finding out more about the Romulan evacuation is sad. Is seems at least some of it was underway before the whole Mars incident, but it also seems like Picard gave up on the cause after Starfleet withdrew from it. Which seems odd... again I wonder why the Romulans even needed an evacuation fleet. Where were their own ships?

Elnor is unf! Where are they finding all these hot Romulan guys? And I love that he kicked some ass. Although why did Picard not just take Laris I dunno. Though I love the Romulan warrior nun.

Speaking of hot romulans I still love Narek even though it’s clear he’s with the enemy. Although maybe it’s just me but do him and his sister give off incest vibes?

And then the last scene! An old school Romulan ship! Then a mystery ship! And then, in the last moment, Seven appears! It’s a shame she only got one line but it means she’ll be in the next episode more.

Anyway I’m gonna hunker down now and snuggle, maybe write more and watch the usual tv.

You know what I thought, but your post reminded me of something. I thought it was weird that Picard just gave up on the cause too. At least, it seems like he did. I hope they show that wasn't actually the case in future episodes as it doesn't seem like something he'd do.

Yeah it definitely seems odd that was the case. I’d assumed that he’d still try and do what he could even without official backing. I guess we’ll see!
