Well after the last post Trump has lost. He’ll try and contest it of course, but I doubt it’ll get far. Although his supporters are still riled up and crazy thanks to him. Honestly though I don’t understand how he still has so many. He’s an absolutely vile man and completely incompetent to boot.

I started Truth Seekers this weekend and it’s pretty good so far. I’ve watched the first 4 eps and there’s definitely something... off with Elton. And that meeting at the con was creepy even before it started.

On Sunday I ended up watching a charity stream and got some codes from wheel spins during it. All indie games and most were ones I’d not heard of so I’m gonna check them out soon.

I also started Hades which is pretty good so far, even though I can’t get past Megara.

I watched Discovery last night and it was nice to see Trill. It’s so pretty! I wonder if Dax survived the burn. I hope so, though I don’t expect we’ll find out. And poor Gray.

Speaking of Trek did anyone see Nigella last night? She mentioned gagh which was a surprise!

I’ve meant it do uni assessment this week but it’s been a bit bleh. Yesterday I went on the laptop and it needed updates so I couldn’t get anything done and then today I woke and was just feeling off and didn’t even open it.

I reached over for my glasses this morning and the arm was off. I dunno how it happened, because it was fine last night when I took them off. The arm was just off next to it so it wasn’t as if one of the girls had got it. Thankfully I have an old spare pair but still, ugh.

It’s been a year since Heather came over and time has... been weird. I really hope I’ll be able to see her again sometime when all this is over, Milo too.

Madina Lake’s online shows are this week. I still need to get tickets but it should be fun.

I’m gonna snuggle and read in a bit, I think.

So I’ve not done a non-fic post in about a week so here goes I guess.

First, I was worried I was fucked with my project for uni but! The sunflower seeds started to grow thank fuck. One seems to have stalled but the rest are growing nicely which is a relief.

Thursday we went to get mum’s pills. It resulted in me going in Sainsbury’s but it was a bit of a bust cause there was none of the Lego Star Wars sets from the sale there. Disappointing, but we got a few other things.

Friday I went to Home Bargains to pick up stuff and ended up with a pack Star Wars figures I’d not seen, yay! But I ended up overspending a bit ugh. I did watch the Discovery finale and holy fuck, it was so good. A real culmination of the series so far (though sad too because of Pike leaving and Cornwell :() I watched Doctor Strange after that too which is still pretty good.

Saturday mum’s friend came round and she is just... I mean she’s nice enough really but she’s so loud and insufferable (which makes mum loud too) and so I couldn’t focus. I tried to watch Kubo and the two strings but I lost track of it pretty quick because of it.

After she left (which felt longer than usual) we took Naryu for a quick walk and settled to watch Fantastic Beasts The Crimes Of Grindlewald since we missed it at the cinema. Holy fuck, the reviews were right. What a train wreck of a movie. It was such a mess and I was so disappointed. (Where were the crimes? And what the hell did they do to Queenie? And why was it such a mess?) I can see now why Lego only made the one set (which was of one of the few good parts). Mum said it was the worst thing we’d seen since the Blade Runner sequel and I have to agree. I had hoped people were exaggerating but... nope. How did they mess it up so much?

I did get my Easter eggs though so yay chocolate! And I had my Easter Lego set of the Praetorian guards which is small but pretty nice.

And Resistance was good too, though it means sadness is coming as our disaster Kaz is going to lose everyone. And BB-8 finally left which was good to see.

Sunday we watched better films. After catching Doctor Strange on Friday I wanted to watch Thor Ragnarok before Infinity War so it became a double bill. Ragnarok is such an awesome film, definitely the best Thor film. I’m so not ready for Endgame though. I hope my boys don’t die though... I dunno. Maybe I’ll do a follow up to my fic depending on how it goes.

Music wise I’ve been listening to a The New Regime, FOB’s Mania and, oddly, Armor For Sleep today (And Gravity). I did start the Magnus archives too, which is super creepy and I love it. There was new music too, Raiders finally put out a song as did Motionless (I only like the one song, but it reminded me how sexy Chris was and which I could write him again/get more content of him).

That leads me to today. This week is my week off uni for Easter so my general plan has been to read my fic tabs of doom, read more Queen’s Shadow, catch up on podcasts, game and write (including hopefully finishing my serial killer kliego fic).

However this morning was interrupted by my depression trying to blanket me. It’s a hard thing to describe for those that don’t get depression, mainly because it was a wave of sadness with no cause. I wish it did, especially when people asked about it and I wasn’t sure what to tell them. It was just... random sadness.

Thankfully it disipated before it could latch onto something, which would’ve been worse. I don’t need to hyper focus on the people that fucked me over, nor play at my insecurities. Still a part of me worries it’ll come back. That remains to be seen though. Maybe it’s because mum’s birthday is close and the reminder of the cold message I got from Nat last year is lingering. Who knows though?

The rest of the day has been spent not doing much. I couldn’t focus on fic, so after a sesssion which cleared my head I caught the first Captain America film on film 4 (it’s my least favourite of the cap films but seems to get a little better each rewatch).

After that I finally watched Venom, which I got from Sainsbury’s with Beasts. I’d heard good things about it and, thank fuck. People were right! I loved it so much. Go see it if you haven’t because Symbrock is just perfect. There better be a sequel, because they have such potential. (And Eddie is so pure and a disaster)

I won a code last night for Wargroove but the rest of the night wasn’t too exciting. I watched the usual tv and then went on Elder Scrolls Online and watched another Nightflyers. I went too tired after it though, so just watched a Carmen Sandiego ep and then dozed.

Well today’s been a bit iffy. I woke feeling woozy, my stomach feeling funny and head dizzy. It took awhile to do uni, but I did some of the third question. I’ll probably finish it Monday when, hopefully, my focus will be better.

Mum found out about the rocky horror show with Duncan and she’s suggesting we go so I guess we’ll be going.

Rock sound posted a video about the songs on Danger Days and I ended up watching a bit. I skipped through to see if Ray was featured and he talked about one song and the video did close up on his lips for no real reason but I wholeheartedly approve.

Speaking of Ray, he’s done another song with Gerard, a cover of Happy Together (a song I instantly recognised as soon as it played from adverts and such). I love that he’s working with Gerard more. Maybe they’ll tour together sometime?

I’m hoping to fic more later if I feel up to it. I’ve got three fics open now and I still wanna get the Ray/tentacle fic done first since it’s the one mostly done. We’ll see. The no_tags prompts go up tomorrow so we’ll see what I pick from there.

I just watched Discovery so I’m just gonna post a few things. It was a very much standalone ep for the most part. It felt much like some of the original series eps I’ve seen, where they encounter a truly strange thing and then have to deal with it.

It was good to see Reno again, as well as having more of Saru in the ep. I liked too that it also gave reasoning for the reason spore drive isn’t used in the eps set later. I hope Tilly ends up to be ok.

The Lego Movie 2 is gonna be at the local cinema at 1:30 and 4. Hopefully I’ll go, that is if I’m not woozy or the weather isn’t awful. We’ll see how it pans out. If I do go it’d be for the earlier time (so I’ll be back for the no tags listing to go up).

8: The Lego Movie
I’m gonna be watching it tonight in case I see the new one, but I just love the first film. It’s so fun, so funny and random. I love Benny and how hyper he gets for spaceships and how random unikitty is. I love, too, the song batman does. I got so many of the sets based on the film (including Benny’s spaceship) which is strange cause I mostly just get Star Wars ones with the occasional marvel ones.

If the Lego movie has one flaw it’s the parts towards the end, the live action parts. They just feel kinda jarring and I hope the second film doesn’t have them.

But yeah, it’s a film I really love. Like Mamma Mia it’s one of my favourite ones and it always makes me smile when I see it.

I listened to the full Hazy Shade Of Winter last night and ngh it sounds so awesome. Gerard and Ray killed it, I’ve listened to it so many times this morning too.

I went on Layers Of Fear last night to start the Inheritence dlc. It’s so creepy. I did the first section (with the painting) but I ended it after that cause the ‘music’ was so scratch and got to me. And there was a dog/wolf growling, which surprised me cause Naryu was curled next to me and she didn’t react.

After Layers, I decided to finally watch the Youngblood Chronicles. Before then I’d only watched one or two videos. I have... no idea what it was about. So a group (mainly/all women) didn’t like fob so they kidnapped them? And then brainwashed Patrick to go all psycho? Or were they just after the case really (which had... a death thing?) I don’t get it. But Patrick does look hot bloody.

After that I watched QI and ficced a little before going to zz.

I read athing on orgasmsandwoe where girl!frank describes the mcr boys as nerdlings (after unexpectedly deflowering them and then entering into a poly relationship).

This morning I booted up the laptop so now I have Klaus icons, yay! I couldn’t get a good cap of Klausi. The towel, but I like the ones I did get. (No doubt I’ll get another when the series starts!) and ahh there’s only three weeks to go! Woo!

Next week, all being well should be Palaye. It depends on four main factors:
1: If it’s not sold out
2: If the weather is good (and hasn’t fucked up trains)
3: If Remy’s knee doesn’t get worse
4: If I’m feeling well enough

I still haven’t seen any info on the merch this tour either. Hmm.

I did finish reading my Star Wars graphic novel yesterday and ahh, Leia uses a lightsaber! So awesome.

I’ve ended up watching Discovery today, because Ghost Whisperer last night seemed interesting and ended on a kinda cliff hanger so...

Anyway, I’m hoping to get this Ray fic done this weekend and watch a few things. (I wanna rewatch Solo and Ant Man And The Wasp, and a film on Shudder tomorrow). I also wanna go on Battlefront and use Dooku (I’ve not been able to try him out yet.) Still no date for Resistance boo.
