The obscure t-shirt producing planet

shadowhiveSo this is gonna be a post filled with thoughts about stuff and things.
First off, The Umbrella Academy cast continues to be awesome. We have David and Robert’s chemistry, David being topless on his Instagram (and poledancing), Justin outright thirsting for David and Aiden supporting shippers and wanting Diego/Klaus. We are blessed.
My creativity is still pretty high. Because of the Kliego discord I’m working on two fics right now (or was before heading out this morning, I’ll go back to it after a rest).
So thoughts on things!
First off, Discovery. It was so unexpected to have an episode set on Talos IV after The Cage (which places Discovery firmly after the episode). At last we have some answers as to the red angel, but it does raise further questions. But damn, the flash back to Micheal and Spock.... no wonder their relationship broke down after she said that to him. Poor Spock. (And poor Stamets too, it’s so sad for him to get his love back only for him to be like that).
Last night I didn’t do too much. I wrote some and I ended up listening to the Bullet For My Valentine album Gravity again even though it gives me feels after reccing a song for the Kliego playlist. (Pretty much the whole album could be about them to be honest.) I didn’t game much but I did shower and write so.
Today Resistance was back, yay! Though I missed it so had to rewind it, oops. It was such a good ep too! There was Leia and Poe and it was a nice adventure with Kaz and Poe (though seriously Poe, you gave that disaster a blaster?) also Phasma appeared which wasn’t cool! I’m looking forward to the eprest of the series.
Then I went to Cannock for Captain Marvel, even though I was on a roll with writing damnit. I got a few bits from there. Two outfits for Naryu, some pet food and some stuff for the uni project. I didn’t get anything too exciting though alas.
My cinema lacks trailers sadly, though they did have cups on sale (which I didn’t notice till after I paid else I might have got one). The opening Marvel thing was so sweet though, showing off Stan’s cameos in tribute to him. That was such a nice touch.
As to the film itself, I enjoyed it pretty much. I liked that they did the names of planet like they did for Guardians. As a lot of people have said it takes a while to find its stride but I think that’s a good thing. Goose is adorable (and an eldritch badass!) and I loved how Fury kept fussing over him. (And how he lost his eye is hilarious!) It was good to see a more laid back Fury.
It took awhile for me to warm up to Carol, though once she got to Earth I started to like her (and I love how and where she got her powers from). It was nice to see Ronan again, though it made me wanna see Guardians again. I ended up feeling so sorry for the Skrulls, which I suspected I would even before it happened. (And I suspected the Kree were bad though that might’ve came from knowing Ronan was)
The mid credits scene made me want Endgame more now and the post credits one amused me so much.
When I got home Queen’s Shadow was waiting for me! I’ve been excited for this since it first came out so I’m probably gonna snuggle up and read it Monday,
Now I’m gonna snug up and write some, and maybe watch The Umbrella Academy more tonight with Doritos and Fanta, (and maybe Misfits soon)
I usually try and post completed fics for 31 flavours but the opening of this one is just too good! It’s so fun!
