So yesterday my package came, but not till about 4:15 but yay it’s finally here! Which brings me to the next thing for the love meme.
I’ve had Lego for as long as I can remember, though it was mostly fairly small things. I remember having a bit of castle, some spaceships, an island and a fort but every other early set is kinda vague. I do remember always wanting a train though, but never got one (until I got the Hogwarts train for Christmas 2019 which is cool even if it doesn’t have a track).
Then in 1999 my focus changed, because they started doing Lego sets. I remember getting a few of the early ones (the Naboo swamp and speeder bike sets at least) and from then on it’s been my primary focus Lego wise. I tend to get one of the big sets at Christmas (including the Falcon, BB-8 and a Porg).
Although I’ve mostly got Star Wars Lego I have had some others. I’ve had a few marvel ones (notably some of the guardians sets and the two small infinity war ones) and recently a few Potter ones. I’ve also. Had a few of the new Mario ones but not many (I think they’re a bit overpriced for what they are).
I find building Lego to be well, therapeutic. It takes my mind off things and gives me something else to focus on. Plus I just love building.
Anyway, yesterday I got the Razor Crest, which was the Mandalorian’s ship. It was meant to be a Christmas thing, but got delayed due to stock issues. The set comes with five figures: The Mandalorian, the child, a scout trooper, IG-11 and Greef Karga. It took a fair few hours to build, mostly last night but I finished it off with the cockpit and engines this afternoon.
Pics are under the cut.

The construction when I paused last night

The finished ship

The cockpit with a The Mandalorian and the child behind him (the instructions suggest the Mandalorian holds him but I think that’s not too sturdy)

The scout trooper in the escape pod

Greef in the bed

The Mandalorian and Child brickheadz that I got when we got mum’s meds

The parabeattle and thwip I got from the new Mario blindbags

The frog from the latest Lego explorers magazine which is so cute!

Last night after Lego building I just watched tv and then gaming. Unforgiveable on Dave was funny, though I feel sorry for Alex’s stepdad which always seemed involved in his stories. I did more Tales Of Vesparia and left the opening town, though the overworld seems a bit... I dunno.
I went to bed but, again, couldn’t seem to settle. At least this time was partly due to Leia being on me and purring keeping me up. I did manage to sleep though. This morning I, again, did nothing for the uni assessment but I did do some of the weeks reading so...
Also the new Doctor Who magazine has come but I’ve not really looked at it yet.
Dunno what the plan is tonight, it might be much the same as last night but with a different game.

Date: 2021-02-04 05:49 pm (UTC)Which was a mistake. Because being sent to my room stopped being a punishment, and I had to sit on the sofa instead and do nothing (in the end, I hid a book down the side of the sofa for the same effect)
