So last week I did a Killjoys pairing poll (which is still open for votes and comments) so now I’m just looking for general thoughts or ideas.

I have the first fic in my planned Killjoys series done. I’m currently working on the first follow up, which is how Kobra and Jet meet up (and will end with Jet joining them).

Edit to add: In fact I’m sure I’ll add one here from Jet’s perspective.

The second follow up I have in mind will be how Fun Ghoul ended up joining them too, with Fun Ghoul/Party Poison being a focus for it. However I may do a Jet/Kobra/Party fic first set between them.

I have a possible idea for a Korse/‘Party Poison’ too, though that would be set sometime later.

So I’m looking for people’s opinions and general thoughts going forward after those. I considered making another poll, but figured I should just make it a more general post.

What would you guys like to see? Are there any kinks or tropes that you like? Would you like something with Doctor D or Show Pony? Something with Korse? Who do you think are Dracs (or other Killjoys)?

I know that there’s a common thing with Killjoys stuff that Gerard and the others are there as seperate people (leading to a lot of Gerard/Party Poison for the most part) what are your thoughts on that? I’ve not made a decision on it either way yet, so it’s something I’m considering but haven’t settled on.

Any thoughts are appreciated! Prompts too!

(And yes, I still need a Kobra Kid or a Korse icon, I tried to do a few screencaps today but I’ve not done much yet. I may try again soon unless someone has any. I might upload a Show Pony one from my lj or the one I have there from the Kobra Kid/Party Poison shoot out from Sing)

Now, though, I’m gonna take the pup out (since I’ve done my uni stuff for the day and then I’m gonna read my other comics after Father Brown and watch Legends Of Tomorrow and the new Silent Witness tonight, before doing some form of gaming (Elder Scrolls or Assassins Creed, but if I get inspired or tired I might just watch another Lucifer ep or Taskmaster).

It's actually not that common. The majority of fan creators have conflated the band members (sometimes actually in a band, sometimes not) with the Killjoys. It's been that way since the beginning of that branch of My Chem fandom.

And probably 75% of Gerard/Party Poison content on the AO3 was created by me, gifted to me, prompted by me, or inspired by something I created.

Which was a surprising revelation.

I am always for the creation of more fanworks, of any sort.

My transformative works policy says "yes" to everything, so if someone feels they need permission to create fanworks in which the band and the Killjoys are separate people, they have an enthusiastic "yay!" from me.

But I don't feel like anyone needs my permission; whether I want more or not is irrelevant.

Also, I have a couple of Kobra Kid icons - if you browse my icons you might find something to your liking. As long as you credit the original icon maker, you're free to take any that you like.

I do like stories that have MCR and the killjoys as separate people and interacting together. But I suspect it isn't actually that common when taken as a fandom as a whole. Which is a pity as it can be hot as all hell.

Really, as far as Killjoys verse goes the more the better imo. Dr Death Defying, Show Pony, Korse, bring them on. But I also like other bands/people be used as other groups in the zones. For example, I've written Pete and Patrick, the wives -- at the time -- Ryan and Gabe in various stories with hints at others being involved.

The universe is so huge you can throw anything at it and make it work.

That’s a shame. Like I said to aka it seemed common on lj, especially at anon lovefest (which I recently looked through a bit). Oh yeah, I totally love the thought of them interacting. I’ll probably think of how to work that in.

Thanks, yeah more is always better I think! When I did my Killjoys one I did all kinds of bands (I think I linked you to the post about it but I’m not sure).

Oh yeah, I think this is gonna become my project thing for awhile. So I’m just trying to work it all out really. I know the first few are mostly covering how they got together and once that’s done I’m just gonna go from there.
