There’s only 72 days until Halloween!

So earlier today I was thinking about October and thinking about posting about the spooky things I’ll be doing for it, so I decided to make a post about them!
So I’m hoping to do one spooky thing per day, be it gaming, watching something or reading.
The definite plans so far are
Tv: Chucky, The Swarm, True Blood (if I start it)
Shudder: VHS Beyond (I need to get started on the run)
Disney+: Agatha All Along, American Horror Story (hopefully), The Nightmare Before Christmas
Blu Ray: Doctor Who season 25, J-Horror rising (both of those starting), Trick R Treat
Book: start reading Shredded
Those are the definite ones but there others I wanna do
Blu Ray: Event Horizon, Welcome To Racoon City, (the rest of the arrow films if I’ve not seen them), Saw X, Five Nights At Freddy’s
Gaming: The Song Of Horror, Dredge (unless I start it before then)
Shudder: Uzumaki (unless I watch it before then)
Netflix: Cabinet Of Curiosities (finally finishing it), Stranger Things season 2 (maybe)
Disney+: Hocus Pocus (most likely I will but)
Amazon Prime: Gods Of The Deep (unless I watch beforehand)
I’m sure there’s more obvious things I’m missing so I might come back and edit them in, but these are the main things that come to mind.
Last night I finally got back to watching Star Trek Prodigy (after starting it awhile ago and getting distracted) and man did the ep I watched gave me feels. It was Kobayashi and they used archive audio of Spock, Uhura, Scotty and Odo to bring them back for the simulation. It really gave me feels especially as I’m also watching Deep Space Nine on tv (currently nearing the end of season 2) and just seeing Odo again was so nice and also sad. The following ep wasn’t as feels inducing but was still pretty good,I might get back to watching it regularly.
I was keeping an eye on the local cinema site and they put up listings for the next week and they have Alien Romulus! And they’re still showing Deadpool and Wolverine (at a better time too!) so I might go see one or both of them next week. Of course it depends how I feel after the surgery, but if I do feel up to it I’ll see at least one.
I’m sure I’ve forgot something but… ah well.

Date: 2024-08-21 01:05 am (UTC)Those are good goals. I keep forgetting how MANY VHS films there are now. Shudder does good work, but I am often overwhelmed by the choices there. Good luck!

Date: 2024-08-21 10:25 am (UTC)Thank! And yeah there’s like 6 now? Which is crazy! I’ve only seen them all once so decided to do a run (I’m really excited for the new one despite no trailer or anything yet). And yeah I know what you mean! There’s so many choices everywhere which can be overwhelming😔
