I had hoped the past week I could do a few things, namely watch more of season 2 of Wreck, do some gaming and fic more, but I’ve just been completely crashing most nights. I dunno if it’s cause of the weather, my general tiredness or side effects of the meds. Either way it’s been very annoying.

My doctor had a follow up appointment last week and I mentioned the tiredness but he didn’t seem concerned. I have to go back in a month to see if the meds help (it was too early to tell) and hopefully then I’ll bring up what I forgot to this time.

On the weekend it was summer games fest, which has been various gaming presentations with trailers and such. It didn’t feel like there was too much this time that stood out (it didn’t help that I zoned out during some of Fridays), though the new Assassins Creed looks cool, and obviously Star Wars Outlaws is looking awesome.

I did manage to do some gaming but mostly it was Dreamlight Valley speed running the star path (which uh is so annoying cause so many of the tasks are so irritating) and also Star Wars Hunters which is a free switch game. So far it’s really fun and I have been enjoying it, though I missed out on some event awards due to tiredness and them having odd quests.

I was gonna get back to The Umbrella Academy which I’ve not watched since that first ep of series 3, but instead I ended up watching two Marple eps on itv 3. The first one was the better of the two, though both were pretty good. We might end up watching others on the itv player.

Also Awsten from Waterparks is such a menace with his Otto is a serial killer agenda😭

Lastly some thoughts on Doctor Who and today’s Acolyte ep. (No thoughts on The Celestial Toymaker yet, but it did arrive Monday I’ve just not had chance to watch)

First Doctor Who! I had a feeling that Rogue would be a good episode, because Rogue looked so hot and I had a vibe from him and the Doctor in all the trailers. I fully expected them to have good chemistry from the trailer scenes, what I didn’t expect was what actually happened.

Because they not alone leaned into it, but they full on went in it. They flirted. They danced. THEY KISSED! Like it was completely insane and I loved it. It was easily the best ep and I’m so sad that Rogue didn’t get to travel with him at the end (though Rogue’s last line of ‘Find me’ is something that HAS to be followed on because I want him back immediately)

And I love Rogue so much, he’s so pretty and got his name from dnd and had Kylie playing on his spaceship and is just so! The novel went live for preorder yesterday and I preordered it so fast to learn more about him.

The rest of the ep kinda felt secondary to them, which is absolutely fine, but I loved that the enemies were essentially evil cosplaying alien birds.

This week is the first of the finale eps and… it feels like the series has definitely been far too short.

Today was The Acolyte ep and it was a flashback ep. I fully expected there to be a flashback at some point, but didn’t think it would be so soon and a full ep. I think it doesn’t show the full story about what happened, because while the Jedi definitely don’t come off too well I don’t see why Torbin would be so guilty he’d willingly kill himself like he did. There’s definitely something more going on than what we saw.

And I felt so bad for the witches, they just wanted to be left alone and the Jedi just come barging in wanting to take their kids. Again the Jedi definitely come off as in the wrong for intruding, spying on them and trespassing. But I think they didn’t more than that.

But I guess we’ll see what happens next week

Now it’s time to do more Star Wars hunters, then watch some stuff and hopefully fic but we’ll see how much I do.

I'm sorry the doctor seemed to ignore your concerns. I'd be worried about being suddenly more tired than usual, too. I hope you're okay.

I really enjoyed Rogue! I've overall loved this season and I'm sad it's been so short. I really hope we'll get more of Ncuti.

Yeah me too, though I think it’s my own fault cause I knew there was reasons for me to be more tired too so I think I undersold how bad it was 😭

Me too! I loved it so much! Yeah me too, I do wish we had more eso with him cause he has been so fun. I know he’s got another season at least already been filmed (and a third being worked on!)

hmm, that’s strange about the tiredness thing! i’d ask for the name of the medications and tell u my experience (i have been on antidepressants since i was 13 i think i have tried almost everything out there at this point) but ik that’s sensitive info and understand if u don’t want to share it! u can also google the medication name and check for list of side effects. i do a lot of depression and anxiety meds can cause drowsiness and sleeping more hours a night. idk if u take them at night or in the morning but u can also change the time u take them if that would help (unless ur specifically instructed to take them at a certain time in which case obv do not change it around lmao)

how is s2 of the wreck?? I haven’t started it yet but i did enjoy s1!

It is! I dunno if it’s cause of anything else or the meds so I’m not fully sure😭I’ll have to let you know/look it up, I honestly can’t remember their name! I’ve not been told to take them a certain time so I usually take them around food🤔

The first ep was really good! But I’ve not watched more yet sadly, but yay you seen the first season!

I still haven't seen the last Who ep, but just from seeing flist reactions, I suspect I'll enjoy it.
