Stuff that makes me happy 10

So it’s been awhile since I’ve done one of these, despite having a few in mind. However, like with so many things, I keep getting distracted or losing the thread. However this one is easier and more timely.

I don’t often go on Facebook but I did a few days ago and I’m glad I did, because it shown a memory from six years ago, the memory of a certain cute fuzzy creature.

Because six years ago is when we got Leia. (Fuzzy pictures ahoy)





She was so smol!

So ima gonna share the story of how we got her, because she came into our life very suddenly and very randomly.

There was a lady that worked across the road, called Sandy and we’d sometimes say hi to her as we walked the dog (who at that point was Danny, the dog we had before Naryu). Sometimes we’d have a conversation, sometimes it’d be a brief hi. Anyway during one conversation mum was telling her the trouble we had getting Midna (first finding someone young cats, then when I got lost on the trip there) and Sandy was all ‘I have kittens! You can have one!’ My eyes lit up, mum was less enthusiastic.

The next morning Sandy popped round with the tiny kitty in a bag and that’s how we got Leia. She was a little bit of a terror because she wasn’t litter trained and kept going everywhere. However she loved Danny and would always rub up against him and be sweet with him.

I’m glad she keeps doing that with Naryu, always coming to her when they’re both outside, rubbing up against her and being cute (of course I’ve never been able to get pics of it happening). Though she’s still a terror, only this time it’s to do with not coming in, going outside when it’s dark or wet or tricking me into opening the door.

But I still love the lil softie, even though it’s hard to get her for cuddles or pics.

Other things.

I’m feeling better physically, so whatever it was is gone. The loose tooth didn’t came out and it seems to be stable now, wiphich I didn’t even know was thing.

I’d have gone to see the Haunted Mansion if I hadn’t been recovering, because the local cinema was showing it. Oddly after just one week it’s gone from two showings to one…. And of course that one is a later one. Maybe they’ll add an additional showing next week (I’m still surprised they have Elemental showing).

I managed to watch both Pokémon series streams which were pretty fun, though it was sold that Team Rocket were hardly in them. The last eps of the second stream was full of nostalgia, with a trip back to aka to and seeing Brock, Misty, Psyduck and Bulbasaur! And they even got the singing jigglypuff too! Damn the nostalgia was strong.

My head’s been kinda been fuzzy the past few days which is annoying. It’s a feeling I can’t quite explain but wish I could. I know it’s depression related but…. Eh,

I did finish Little Hope over the past few nights though and I have mixed feelings about it. Yes it’s atmospheric and spooky throughout, but the flashbacks are bleak and then the ending just makes you wonder exactly what happened. (Though I did have a feeling there was some twist ending, I just didn’t think it would be that).
Also it’s dark, but the darkness seems to be easier to navigate than Man Of Medan was at least.

Next time is House Of Ashes though I don’t think I’ll do it for a week or two. I do wanna do Stray first, though I think I might do something else first. (I might do a level on Hi-Fi Rush because it’s bright and colourful, or try Immortality before it leaves game pass at the end of the month)

Tonight I might watch Babylon 5 The Road Home, but that depends how hazy my head is.

This coming week has a bunch of stuff happening. I wanna watch Saw III (I didn’t this week), there’s new Futurama, the food delivery, Gamescom and Ahsoka starting! Plus there’s games night on Friday before Dungeons and Dodongos Sunday. I hope my brain doesn’t get overwhelmed by everything,

(Is it possible to be whelmed? You can get overwhelmed and underwhelmed so surely there must be whelmed? Hmmm)

Anyway, I’m gonna watch todays Sherlock film, then maybe work on fic later but more likely get distracted by something.

Yeah I’m glad that’s over it was so frustrating having pain and not being able t eat much😭

My head is kinda… it’s depression hazy too not helped by stress today (a thing is preordered has gone missing, the net has been bitchy again😒)

I hope your head is feeling a little less fuzzy now. (Fuzzy is cute on cats but REALLY not something you want your head to be!)

Yeah she was so tiny and aww! I’m glad I happened to be on to see the memory notification. Yeah it seems so! And just as I type this reply she came downstairs, meowed and headed into the kitchen (no doubt to head outside)
