shadowhiveA few things since the last post before the love meme.
*I ordered some Black Series figures, specifically Captain Cardinal, DJ R-3X and R5-P8 which are all from the Galaxy’s Edge line. I’d ordered them cause they were half off, which was a surprise as they’re pretty new, and they all came today yay! I need to get Hondo
*Uni assessment is finished and sent, despite all the issues with it (including one site associated with it being down and my net acting up) so that’s done and I can rest a bit
*I got the new Lego Star Wars magazine which has a nice lil Mandalorian (and a proper blaster not those dumb stud shooters) next month is a Palpatine
*I managed to order the Elder Scrolls loot crate, woo! I considered getting a welcome crate but that would’ve doubled shipping ugh. I’m curious what I’ll get because the past crates look awesome
The next love meme is about incest ships with Good Charlotte, Madina Lake, My Chemical Romance, Palaye Royale, The Umbrella Academy and a Tokio Hotel.
I’m not sure exactly what it is about incest ships (specifically sibling incest ships) that I like so much. There’s just... something. A thing I can’t quite place. I can recall what my first one was though.
First we have Benji and Joel Madden from Good Charlotte. I first heard of them around Lifestyles Of The Rich And Famous, which I’m sure was most people’s entry point into the band, and I was fascinated by these twins. As such they were my incest entry point and I ended up reading and writing a bit of then. Sadly there’s not as much content for then these days but then they have been pretty quiet. It was through fic that I found out they had a third brother, Josh and there’s been a few fics with that dynamic.
This is another big one and will, despite how toxic the fandom has become, will forever be an OTP. It’s Gerard and Mikey from MCR. With them it’s their co-dependency, that’s been commented on a few times as well as photos like this one ^ which looks like a couples shoot. Gerard has also groped Mikey, licked his nipple, crawled between his legs... it practically writes itself. Oddly, although the band has been quiet (until the reunion) theres not been much content for them as the fandom has, irritatingly, become hostile towards it. Ugh.
Around the same time I got into Tokio Hotel which has twins! Specifically Bill And Tom Kaulitz. I mean look at them, they’re so pretty. I should’ve used early days a Tokio Hotel when Bill looked especially twinky (he looks less so now alas). And then they did this shoot ^ it’s for Peta but you can certainly appreciate the kinkiness of it. I need to listen to the newer stuff of the boys.
Then there’s a Matthew and Nathan from Madina Lake. Oddly there’s not much content for the band which is a shame as they’re all hot and the music is great. I think, like with BFMV fic, most is caused by me. The boys have naked wrestled at least once. Oh and Matthew is a hero, stepping in when a woman was getting assaulted (only to end up in hospital himself).
The latest band of brothers is Palaye Royale which are Sebastian Danzig, Remington Leith and Emerson Barrett. Again the fandom isn’t the biggest and there’s not much content with the brothers which is pretty sad. I didn’t realise they were brothers at first, due to their names and so was disappointed by the lack of content. It’s a shame because they do these

Something I notice about all of these is that one brother is always a vocalist, Hmm.
Lastly we enter The Umbrella Academy. Alas some season 2 pics are tricky to find so there’s not ones that I wanted. Also of note is that some of these are Five ships and, while Five is played by a teen, Five himself is actually much older (due to timey wimey ness).
First we have Diego and Klaus and their chemistry, especially in season one, is just perfect. Every scene where they’re together they spark off each other and it’s just so perfect. They aren’t as together much in season 2 but it’s still very much there.
Then there’s Ben and a Klaus which is also so perfect. Ben has spent years being a ghost tied to Klaus so that means that boy has seen some shit. It helps that their chemistry is fun too.
Klaus and Five. When Klaus and Five get paired together early in season 1 they instantly have great chemistry (plus a Five comments on his dress when they first meet). Although Five is a bit (ok a lot) if an ass, it’s clear he cares about him and the others.
Luther and Five. The best moment for this ship isn’t this scene but one in season 2, where Five gets mad at Luther and tells him ‘I’m the daddy here!’ And... how has that not inspired dozens of fic?
Diego and Five, they just bounce off each other nicely. This is also helped by the fact that Asian fandom has latched onto them and drawn loads of Diego/Five. In fact there was recently an art day for them (because it was 2/5). It’s amazing what they come up with.
During season one Luther and Diego were largely confrontational, not helped by Diego’s issues being number 2 compared to Luther’s one. And then season 2 paired them together, with some scenes where they shared one line brain cell. And then! In the last one this happened and just... Unf.
I pretty much ship all TUA brothers together, though there’s not much on screen interaction with a Ben and the others as he’s a ghost and all.
And there ends the main cesty ships. I’d have added Oli and Tom Sykes (BMTH) and Sean and Jay Smith (The Blockout) but since the other brothers aren’t in the band and just support finding pics are hard, boo.
There’s also cest ships that I tangentially ship, like Thorki and Wincest.
I might do a future love meme post with bassists or drummers and I’ll do some of the bands for song Saturday’s in future.
