So yesterday was food shop day. It might be my last trip since the delivery slots are starting to come back. That’s something I’ll be glad off. While I am grateful for mum’s friend taking me, it’s exhausting (especially going so early) and it always seems to be so much more than a usual shop is. (Although yeah, this time I did get the last Spider-Man film so...). I also got my meds too.

Because of that yesterday I was mostly exhausted however there was good news! The Umbrella Academy season 2 has a date at last! Yay! July 31st. So it’s still awhile away, but hopefully there’ll be a trailer soon. It’s good timing since it means I can switch my fixation back to it. The video for the announcement was great though.

Other than that, I napped and there was a later delivery of tees (at 4 wtf?). I’ve ordered a few from qwertee the fast few weeks and this one was a Majora’s Mask one with a bonus tee (which was A Batman tee which... is ok).

Last night after watching the usual things I put on the next Who, which was The Hand Of Fear. It was a pretty good ep though there was some odd things. (Why did the the Doctor and Sarah Jane not react to the sirens as soon as they left the tardis?) still the concept was pretty sound and it’s amazing they filmed in an actual nuclear power plant. The last scene, of Sarah Jane leaving, was sad but not overly so. (And with the benefit of hindsight we know she meets the Doctor again and that he never forgets her).

I considered watching the special features, of the last Hollow ep (I watched one in the morning) but was too tired. Tonight I’m gonna watch the Elisabeth Sladen tribute and get feels for it.

It’s three weeks yesterday till my exam thing, so technically I should be revising but This morning was definitely nope. I did listen to an ep of The Magnus Archives which was a good one.

Thankfully yesterday Flick was there on AC which I’ve been hoping for every day for weeks causa all the bugs. Please let him be regular again. Today was Gulliver so I hope he gives me a nice thing.

This week I’m hoping to watch more films (I want to watch on on shudder, amazon or Netflix). There’s a thing called Blood Machines coming to shudder Which I’m curious about. I also want to actually read my book and whoa magazine. And I wanna watch some more Devs and Clone Wars. And game on the Xbox.

But for now, noms. And to curse the sun which has come out again. (And we have a leak, damnit)

Gotta be honest, have watched three eps of Devs and have no intention of watching the rest. It did not grip me, at all (not helped by casting which I thought was particularly weak).

Still on the lookout for something good to watch. Either I have got a LOT more discerning, or TV has gotten really weak in the last few years

That’s where I’ve gotten too. I can see what you mean it’s a little... *cant think of the right word*

I tend to either have a load of things or not enough. But yeah, actual tv seems a bit lacking sometimes lately. (A lot of things I watch tends to be on Netflix)

I... dont believe in them, especially Lily. I find her really wooden. But the whole thing felt a bit 'style over substance' and, to be fair, I'm very critical of storytelling narratives where the audience knows a lot more than the protagonist. They're very easy to get wrong.

I need to find something new to watch, but I am getting a bit sick of subscription channels popping up everywhere. Maybe time to go back to DVDs...

That’s true. It seems there’s more subscription services coming every five minutes, which does indeed suck. And yeah I a have a bunch of dvd/blu rays I’ve not seen

Have been in a grump about subscription services today because have discovered that to watch Doom Patrol on Amazon Prime (which did appeal), I have to subscribe to another service as well or pay for each individual episode. So, it's a subscription within a subscription, what the hell is that?!

Hence my current fondness for 'screw it, I'll just buy dvds!'

I know you know this, but yes, the UA video was amazing! I loved watching them all and again, I want more!

I quite like shopping in the actual shops, but of course, it's so much easier when you have a car. But man, you're right, things are so expensive now. Though they are everywhere, I was just talking to my sister and she told me that she'd bought two small ice cream cones and a small tub of ice cream from the ice cream van and it cost over £10. That's ridiculous!

Yeah, we don’t have a car and causa pets it makes things tricky. Before we had a lift mum suggested we go and get stuff including two bags of litter... which I was just, nope. Damn that’s crazy!

I like the first part of Hand of Fear when they're still on Earth. The bit with the moving hand is quite spooky and Sarah Jane is awesome when she's possessed. The reminder, when they're on the alien planet always felt rather boring to me though. And Eldrad is much cooler when she's female. Male!Eldrad is just silly with all his shouting.

Oh yeah you’re so right, the hand was so creepy as was Sarah Jane possessed. And I did prefer female Eldrad too. Yeah!
