Last night I started a Bert/Jepha for my friend on discord, ironically taking over from the Killjoys roleplay fic I was trying to do for them. I think taking a break from it will be good. I’m gonna do that some more later and try and do a Waycest.

I also ended up watching the special features disc of Fenric last night and it’s so fascinating. There was a brand new documentary done for it, which showed off how the locations look now. The bay they used looks so beautiful. And it’s so sweet that Sylvester and Sophie keep in contact with some of the other members of the cast and how welcoming the guest cast said they were. Even though there was hardships during the filming (the weather was cold and there was snow!) you really got a sense of how fun it was. And the Haemovore masks looks so cool. It’s also poignant because it had Nicholas Parsons in it, who died just the other week.

I’ve still got the conference footage from the disc to watch, which I will tonight.

This morning we went to Sainsburys. Mum had a dentist appointment and heard the clothing sale was on so we decided it was best to swing round there. We needed a toilet seat too since the one in the bathroom has come loose. I got it from the Argos in Sainsburys while mum got, well, a load of clothes. At least she tried some on beforehand, and got a nice butterfly scarf. No toys were on offer but I did get the new Who magazine and Lego Jurassic Park one which had a neat little t-Rex with it.

I also tried to pick up mum’s meds, but for some reason the pers riotion hadn’t gone through, which meant the lady had to call the doctor to get it redone. It’s meant to be in there at 4 or 5, but there’s no way I’m going back today. (I dunno when I will, I still need to try using the gas card tomorrow and there’s a fresh storm coming this weekend). Before sainsburys I went in tk and we got Naryu a new coat and I got a Lando mighty muggs figure.

The new Who magazine looks good and unf, the new Master looks so good on the cover. I’ve read the preview for the finale, not that there’s much given away, and I wanna read the master and Silurian articles soon.

The trip back was exhausting between the seat and some food for Naryu I was sweaty and aching. I just wanna have a snuggle after Shakespeare And Hathaway.

To my surprise MCR have announced another uk date (apparently the last for the year. It’s gonna be in June at the Eden Project no doubt it will be tricky to get to and tickets will go quick but, damn, I really do want to try. I’ve always wanted to go to the Eden Project and I’m sure it’ll be amazing. I’m not optimistic about getting a ticket and, well, I’m less optimistic about being able to actually get there. But... we’ll see

I’m gonna snuggled now and then write later.

Edit: so I looked into travel to the Eden project and it’s between £130 and £175... each way. So yeah, that’s out

Another MCR date you say...although if MK is an arse to get to, I can't imagine what a sod the Eden Project will be. Possibly we have to keep fingers crossed for some tour dates next year?

They're interesting venue choices; I assume there's a rationale we're not privy to, because (for all that I'm not a fan of the place) London does feel like an odd omission, given the structure of the UK

No, although I don't fancy trying to drive into Cornwall that night. I mean, driving into Cornwall is a challenge at the best of times (infrastructure? why would a really popular holiday spot need a decent roads infrastructure?), but can you imagine?

Single track roads. SO MANY single track roads, and very few dual carriageways. It's like driving in Norfolk (I have horrific memories of travelling to both and it taking for-fucking-ever to get anywhere). The only way I'd want to drive it now would be if I was driving through Cornwall at fuck o'clock in the morning, and that doesn't really work for going to a gig!

I love that they're doing another concert but really, change direction and come north already!
