So yesterday was meant to be a rest day. After two days going out in the heat, we were gonna take things easy. Of course that didn't happen.

Since we lost the pup Thursday mum sent a few messages contacting people with ads up, but I had no real hopes.

Cut to yesterday. Mum called up to me saying I should come down. From her tone I knew it was something serious though it wasn't what I expected. She had heard back from one and wanted me to see the e-mail. They haf one puppy left, a girl and mum asked what we should do. I said she should call the number they sent, to find more info, which she did.

Following the call, a discussion and chasing up my useless uncle for a lift, (and getting the bird table mum spotted for Dan delivered, which was heavy as fuck) we were off. We got a bit lost but found the place eventually.

The breeder was there, with the puppy's mum. I didn't fall in love the second I saw her, like the other one, but once I held her and sat on the floor fussing her, that was it. The breeder even commented how she took to me. She found a random sock, licked my face and tried to rummage in my bag, even trying to take my pad case!

So of course, we left with her. She was so good in the car ride, staying in my arms the whole time.

Once home she had a little explore, met the kitties (she wasn't sure about them at first, but now she wants to play with them) and she gave me lots of cuddles before snoozing. I've decided to callnher Naryu, after the dark elf assassin from Elder Scrolls Online. Mum can't seem to say it though, so calls her nutsy.

I ended up having an early night after Sherlock, since I was so tired, but she is just so sweet. And, of course, lively and mischievous, trying to bite everything. I can tell she loves me and I love her. (Pics are up on FB and twitter.)

Right now she's curled on my lap, fast asleep the cutie.

Also, thankfully, the heat has ended at last. And there's rain! Sweet rain!
