Glistening fish

shadowhiveSo it’s been another two weeks since my last proper post, oop.
Mostly that’s been due to tiredness, which has been annoying again and meant I’ve not done too much, which is just. Ugh.
There’s also been nothing back about the results from the appointment, which I kinda wasn’t expecting so soon but that’s still been a worry. I need to make an appointment with the doctor about my meds but the energy to sort it hasn’t been there.
It’s not helped that the weather has been dicey lately, a mix of warm, then cold, then wet and back again.
(Not has it helped that I woke this morning with a headache that has lingered all day and been so painful and won’t seem to go away. Ugh)
But good things. Or rather things that are kinda good.
Last week ended up being busy. On Monday I went to Game, intending to use the reward card points on the Assassins Creed Magic The Gathering starter set (cause it came with a mat thing there). Alas I couldn’t use the points there so I still have them (apparently it’s only dedicated Game stores you can and this was in a sports direct). I also got some dice, some Star Wars metal kit things and a Wooloo funko.
Tuesday I ended up, last minute, at the library with mum again which was a bit annoying but meant I started one of my other book things. It was a food delivery day though which was also exhausting.
Wednesday had mum’s friend come and I used her bus ticket to head to town, which ended up, again, being tiring. I didn’t get some of the things I hoped to get but I did get SFX magazine and the Lego Minecraft Axolotl house on discount.
On Saturday there was a village festival thing, which no one seemed to know much about so I went out of interest. It was mostly a bunch of random stalls, along with some sports things (and there was a pole dancing demonstration? Though we missed it). We got some treats for Naryu, some lucky dip bags and there were some free tote bags.
Sunday was dungeons and dodongos which was funny as always and also led to me looking into fish in Zelda. I’d forgotten they added fishing into Majora’s Mask so many of the fish surprised me.
This morning some mail came, namely copies of the first three V/H/S films. There’s a new one coming out in October and I wanted to do a run of them, but for some reason Shudder doesn’t have the first three so I had to track them down. Also oddly? Only the first one is on blu ray here, which is gonna annoy me cause I got it on that and 2 and viral on dvd. I intend to start watching them in a few weeks, though that depends on my brain. (Imight get the other ones too but we’ll see)
Also what came today is some Star Wars Unlimited booster packs, because the new set came out and I saw there was an offer on. I’m pretty happy with the pulls I got, especially cause I got Fennec Shand (who is awesome), Bo Katan (both versions of her!): Cad Bane and Jabba’s rancor! Ineed to have a proper look through them of course but I’m pretty happy with them. And the seller even sent a little moam which I thought was sweet.
Speaking of mail I finally had a message from Owen after his subathon finished (which was fun!) so now the pins are sorted! It’s the full set of the new pins which I’m pretty happy about (especially cause of the pirate Owen one) though I am a bit sad it seems it won’t include the subathon pin (I say though it was the least nice).
The Amazon prime day sale was yesterday and today and there wasn’t anything too exciting in it. I just got a high republic book though I am considering getting some dice (because apparently I have gained a dice problem oop) and maybe take a look over other things just in case I missed something
(I am thinking of getting a silly little treat from other sales, either the elder scrolls dice, the ju-on boxset or the mothman build a bear [which isn’t on sale but whatever] but I’m indecisive and was holding back in case anything would be in prime day)
The Acolyte finished today and I have many thoughts on it, though I’m a bit head fuzzy to word them now. Mostly it was a pretty good season, with some bold choices and enough after open for there to be more (please let there be more).
I’m sure there was something else I was gonna say but whatever it is is completely gone out of my brain. I’m sure it’ll be somehting obvious but I guess we’ll see.
