Saturday was a pretty all over the place kinda day.

That was partly because, despite agreeing to take the weekend off, mum tried to do all the things. Seriously if I took my eyes off her for longer than a second she was doing something else, despite saying she wasn’t. It’s not surprise then that, once we’d had lunch, she promptly fell asleep.

When she did I went up and watched Shoto’s art stream, which turned out to be so pretty!

I also had a mystery package come in the morning, which turned out to be a cute axolotl friend from fadefur and they came with cute stickers!

I’d also had tumblr notifications from new followers, which weren’t the usual spam followers. I wasn’t sure why, since I don’t use tumblr that much (though I did do a post Friday saying I should use it more). It seems that someone made an anti-waycest/proship blocklist and put me on there despite me being painfully inactive there in general and not posting waycest in forever. Ugh it exhausted me how nonsensical fandoms (and bandom in this case) is (no wonder I don’t bother with it). But at least all I’ve to from it is two followers and no harassment.

Saturday night was the last night of the proms and… it wasn’t too memorable. All I remember is that there were EU flags waving at one point. I’m not sure if it’s because it just wasn’t memorable in general or because we had a little bottle of booze and it just… wiped me.

At least I had the focus to read carrythefire’s awesome fic before completely zoning out. Though I had hoped to do more but the booze just wiped me out.

Sunday I woke and felt so rough. I’m not sure if it was from the stress, the weather (it’s too hot) or the booze from the night before but it was ugh. Thankfully it settled over the course of the day, but it was still so ugh for that morning.

Thankfully I felt oki enough after food to do Dungeons and dodongos which had me laughing so much. It was amusing how we all saw Louise (the pubs cat) and, like live, we all wanted to pet the kitty. And then we went out into the desert, which just made me wonder how gerudo were meant to cross that sand river in universe (maybe they all have hookshots and hover boots?) but we somehow managed to get across and through the desert (thanks to Pom having skills!) and the great fairy there was all good which is a relief.

I’d hoped to fic more but my focus was off which was annoying. I think all I managed was a few lines if that.

Ranboo’s rebrand was yesterday and I’d been a little nervous cause my anxious ass does not like change (im glad he made a tweet the other day about that) but it didn’t trigger that which was good. His whole new thing gives Shoto vibes (the vtuber model, having a throwing effect, the starting and ending screens) and it seems likely they’ll do something together which is wild. They also implied streams would start having a more mature rating at times which feels good too.

I ended up after that putting on Resident Evil: Death Island. I’d been looking forward to it for awhile but anytime I intended to watch something came up. After watching it though it felt kinda… eh. Which is a shame because it has Leon (and the end monster was tentacly). It just felt eh overall, even though it started promising.

I think it’s partly due to the villain. You have a character that could be interesting, because he’s doing all of this because of having to kill his friend who got infected with the t-virus in Racoon city. He makes his own variant with a delivery system that can target specific people. He sees specific people and systems as responsible for the viruses and outbreaks that have happened in universe. So what does he intend to do? Release the virus and cause a general outbreak, instead of targeting the people he sees responsible despite making something that can specifically target people it’s just… what??

I was gonna add the weeks plans, but I might add them to whatever post I do next. As for today I might fic, fo on Starfield and then (hopefully) watch Saw VI after Ranboo’s stream

Correct, but I can also write about them myself and just read my own fic :D I will say I am very surprised there just doesn't seem to be any fics in Finnish about Kätilöt...

Yea I can be just like "I have a need to read hair pulling today", "I want to read Juha being punished" or "I want to read Miikka being fluffy", and I have something that ticks the box 😂

There's never really been any fic of any of the bands I like, aside from Welsh bands, but saying that I'm not massively interested in reading about them now anyway. 😂 There was a semi-active scene on mibba, but it was mostly The Blackout, Kids In Glass Houses and Lostprophets, and I've always been on the FFAF/BFMV side of the fence, who those people just didn't like. And I offended one of them when I wrote a fic about Sean Smith getting his hair set on fire (please, that was tame) so whatever. Saying that though, they did introduce me to you when they were saying you were writing nasty vile filth about Welsh musicians and I was all "yes this is disgusting, exactly what I want, much better than this boring vanilla stuff" so there is that 😂😂😂😂

Yeah I can definitely relate to that too! And yeah, I bet it’s completely died since then because of,.. everything, but like you say at least it led to us meeting hee!😄😄 yeah so much stuff out there is tame and boring it’s so… bleh!

At least our half died because we just don't really write them any more, theirs died because of one of the main people they all wrote about being, well. Y'know. You know what fucks me off though, the fact I can't read Hand Work any more because he ruins it, and it was the first thing I read of yours so it's a little special to me haha. You should redo it with a different member of LP 🤪👀

Yeah I hate him for it too! But yeah I just can't read it which does make me feel sad. I know it's not particularly extreme, if anything it's quite tame, but it was just a fun little fic, hehe. I don't know what other member he'd fit best with though, tough choice.

It pisses me off so much cause I used to love the rivalry he had with tuck and now… ugh. Yeah I’m not sure either, I’m sorry that sucks! Maybe I could do a new thing, I haven’t written Ilan in awhile so maybe I could do something along those lines with someone else?

Yeah their rivalry was everything! I honestly can't think of anyone else that can be substituted into a similar one either. Not necessarily with Tuck, just musicians/bands in general. There was no rivalry quite like theirs. Side note, it also pisses me off that Tuck has also "won" by default now! They should have been perpetually having that stupid ass rivalry for all time.

Ah maybe! Idk, it's up to you. Maybe I could do a PL version from when the traitor joined, heh. "I'm not writing that dickhead again!" *proceeds to still do so*

as someone who has been on like 15 blocklists back in the heyday of poppy, I can assure u it’s no big deal, like ppl will block u but it’s basically a pro for you since you wouldn’t want to follow waycest antis anyway (and hey u got some moots out of it!) I don’t personally think blocklists are nonsensical or bad, it’s for ppl’s comfort and curating their online experience to be safe. (if it was a “HERES A LIST OF WAYCEST SHIPPERS TO SEND THREATS TO” list or something then that would be fucked ofc lmao)

I was hesitant on the rebrand for Ranboo as well because I generally dislike vtubers (mouse being in qsmp made me warm up to them more but in general I don’t care for most of them) BUT the design is sooooooo adorable I’m hyped about it now!!! can’t wait to see what content they put out (I really wanted their transfem ass to drop the she/her prns though 😔 oh well, I will continue to wait)

That’s fair! I’ve only seen Shoto and Jaiden who both have good models, but I’ve seen a few on my recommended that… the models don’t look ‘right’. But Ranboo’s look👀 their horror stream is tonight so I’m curious what else they’ll do! They said they wanna do all kinds of things. And hee you weren’t alone there
