It’s not a colour it’s a shade

shadowhiveJust a regular post now, I might do a June something or happy thing post later though, if I’m not too tired or have an idea.
Because that is a thing of the last few days, they have been extremely tiring and draining. (Which has been a bit annoying because I had a few things I was meaning to work on, including fic and posts)
First there was Tuesday which was another day of me covering up at the library. Which is ok because I took my magazines to read (and some more of The Quest For Planet X). However it was raining pretty heavy in the morning and we got caught in it (though it had eased up by the time we went out, though was still coming down). Thankfully we got a lift back home (though it had stopped raining anyway)
On the plus side Zelda Qwertees came. I got two, one of which was a tears of the kingdom Link one while another is Majora’s Mask one (which I’m wearing now and I love, Majora’s mask is probably my fav Zelda game). There’s some more Zelda tees up there today but I’ve not got any (if the design of one was green not gold I’d likely get it).
I went on Dreamlight Valley too starting the new starpath (which is always a bit of a nuisance as some of the tasks tend to be odd or awkward) and there was some code for pride tees! There’s a bunch of them based on various flags (here’s a link with a pic). There was also the new MTG Arena season starting which is LOTR centric and the cards look so cool! I did a draft and, although I did terribly, I’m still happy cause I got a Legolas.
In the night I did some of The Chant, doing chapter 3, which was significantly longer than the first two which was a little annoying because I got tired by the end. There is some good ideas though and the creature designs are pretty cool. I was hoping to do more to it (with the aim of finishing it before the end of the week) but got too tired.
Wednesday we went down to sainsburys. We weren’t expecting to get anything so naturally ended up getting stuff. I got a few books (including a how to draw Pokémon so I can’t attempt to art over the summer) and some mega Pokémon building sets (bulbasaur, zubat and a big pikachu all discounted). Mum also got some baking trays which proved to be heavy for the trip back (which wasn’t helped by the weather heating back up). We got some strawberries from M and S too which weren’t those fancy diamond ones but we still really nice.
Because of the heat coming back I was drained for the rest of the day so didn’t do much. I did catch the last of the Isle of Wight highlights and I’m glad I watched Lovejoy’s song Sunday because it wasn’t there. I wonder if the set will be put uo somehow because it was recorded.
There was also a Nintendo Direct which was pretty good. The new Pokémon dlc looks cool (though still seems expensive), there’s a new Detective Pikachu which looks so cool, there’s new Zelda amiibo (Zelda and hot Ganondorf), and there’s a new Mario game, which is coming out on my birthday. I’m sure I’m missing something too, but it was a pretty good one.
Yesterday was a tiring one again, because we ended up going to town to use that Asda voucher mum had gotten. I popped in Game beforehand and got some Star Wars Rivals stuff (which look nice but the blind boxes are a tad annoying) and the shop from Asda ended up being a bit crazy. I’m just glad we had a lift home!
When we got back I was pretty exhausted so the rest of the day was low energy. I got some things from the switch summer say (Smushi Come Home which looks cute and Inscryption which looks spooky). I might use my Xbox credit to get something from the sale on there too but I’m not sure yet.
I did start the new Dead By Daylight event and got half the masks already. They look so cool but alas some are for characters I don’t yet have but they’re so pretty. (I still need to order the comic too)
Because of the busyness I’m hoping the next few days are rest days though we’ll see if that actual happens.
Today I got the new Who magazine in the post, which I read a little bit though it’s odd there’s no info on the next issue. Is it because there’s some sort of reveal coming? From the new series or a new boxset? Maybe I’m being optimistic.
I also detoured to game when walking the pup and got the LOTG Magic starter set because I saw yesterday they were doing an offer with a free playmat which looks so pretty! (Plus there’s codes for the decks which include Aaragon and the balrog!) and I got two rivals boosters cause I’m there.
Also today I wanna watch some vidcon stuff later though I sense k might go zz.
Tomorrow I wanna watch the last Indiana Jones film (before the new one) and I’m debating Spiderverse though it depends on the weather because I’d be walking back. It should be cool enough to walk but there’s still a storm warning and I’ve no desire to be caught in it. If I don’t go I’ll watch The Mummy Returns, or watch it Sunday instead).
And I wanna do a bunch of the things I’ve needed focus to do (as well as Zelda and The Chant). Now though I’m gonna rest up and relax a bit.
