shadowhiveFriday was pretty uneventful, although I did finish building BD-1 who is so cute! He could’ve used a few more joints to pose but I’m not sure how they couldn’t done them while keeping its strength.
I always watched a thing on Sunflowers (based on the Van Gogh paintings, I had no idea he did so many! Or that sunflowers were from America) and Ranboo’s dinner stream (which was very ???).
Saturday the Doctor Who magazine finally arrived, though I didn’t read much. Mostly I just read the info on the upcoming collection boxset, but it feels like they missed something from the first disc and there’s no release date like I hoped. I’m still kinda looking forward to it? There’s some good eps on it and there’s not as many long ones, plus there’s the novelty of one ep that I’ve not seen before, even though half will be reconstructed with telesnaps which isn’t ideal.
I ended up watching two more eps of The Sandman, which I’m very much into. It’s definitely been more gory and sweaty than I expected (how often do you hear the word cunt in anything?) but I am enjoying it and wanna see more soon. It also feels that every British person is in (including one more taskmaster person so far). And it also made me wanna see Event Horizon because one of the actress’ from it is in it (annoyingly cex in town has one, so I could’ve got it Thursday I’d if known).
Later was MCC and I loved the Halloween decor of it. I ended up watching a Ranboo’s stream the whole way through (although I did zone out) but it seemed so… wild in general. Tubbo was drunk, Jack was dressed as Elsa, Wilbur was being Wilbur, Eret was in a hot as hell outfit (and for why) and I know I’m missing something.
Something the past few days that’s been annoying, I’ve felt so drained and it’s just so annoying. And a secondary annoyance has been the net doing it’s thing of going off randomly for a few minutes. Thing is I’m not sure if it’s a net thing or causa the roadworks but it’s annoying.
(So that part of the post above ^ was written last night but then I just got too tired so the rest of the post is written this morning)
Yesterday’s main thing was the new Doctor Who ep so thoughts under the cut. (Which’ll probably be briefer than I thought)
Spoilers ahoy
So going into Power Of The Doctor I thought ‘there is a lot to juggle here how is it gonna do it’ and actually, it worked out pretty well and everyone had some nice moments. It was nice to see that Tegan, Ace and Kate all had things to do and pretty big roles in this (and yay Kate going in the tardis! And her reaction being how is it bigger on the inside).
Some might say Dan leaving early on was a bad thing, but honestly it makes sense for what happened in the opening and I could see it coming. Better for him to leave then die (and I was so worried someone would but thankfully none of the heroes did).
I’m glad we got to see the cyber masters again, because they were such a cool design I thought it was a shame they were all meant to be destroyed. I wonder if they’ll return.
I think one of the most memorable bits was the master dancing to Rasputin, which made me think of him in Sound of the drums (it also made me think of foolish cause it’s his intro music).
It was so nice, and such a surprise, to see some of the old doctors again. Although I couldn’t help but wonder why there wasn’t any of the newer ones in that sequence. The argument could be made of course that 9, 11 and 12 were busy filming elsewhere on other things so couldn’t come back for it, but still. (And it also felt old there was no new who companions in the last scene… until I remembered most of them were screwed in their leaving). And yeah I thought that last companion scene was nice too.
And then there was the regeneration…. That’s sure to spark feelings.
I’d surely have other thoughts, but my head… ugh.

After Who I managed to watch some of the egg lore (I’ll have to watch some others once seapeekay’s vod is started) then Wreck (which has gone in a new direction) and Foolish and Karl’s stream (I may post thoughts on them separately).
This morning? Ugh I woke up, my tummy feels woozy my head has been achy so I’ve just been bundled in bed. It seems my Foolish hoodie has came though, which is a plus.
