Jinx again

shadowhiveOf course after making the last post, like I predicted, there was a call, albeit not until about three hours later.
They ran a diagnostic and found the problem… but they also say the screen needs replacing which takes it up to £120. I don’t know why the screen needs replacing as it seemed fine to me (though there was a crack on the casing that they might’ve decided needed doing too) but just… ugh.
I mean it’s doable, I can cover it when the money goes in Monday, but only barely and then I’m screwed until the next money goes in (or whenever the second cost of living payment shows up which, knowing this lot, might be never). It sucks so much and it’s so… ugh
I’ve sent an email to ask if it’s right, and to ask if it’s a safe procedure (which didn’t cross my mind to ask and now I feel stupid for not). I just hate how this expense, which I’d hoped to avoid completely, has just ballooned. Hopefully they don’t find anything else because… ugh.
Ima gonna link my ko-fi here if anyone feels like chipping in or anything.
I’m just gonna lay down now, wait for food and just… ughhhh
And then just as I hit post I get taunted by an email offering 10% taffy why do you taunt me so?
