shadowhiveSo since I’m gonna be out tomorrow and will most likely be too tired when I get back I figured I’d do Sing Saturday now instead.
So today’s song is James Marriott’s Car Lights. The video is a pretty simple animation, with James sitting there which pretty static until it switches to handholding and a car fire before going back. So you don’t really need to watch the music video.
Awhile ago he put out the ep this song was on (called Bitter Tongues) and I gave it a listen, but I don’t know… I guess at the time I wasn’t in the mindset for new music because it didn’t really stick?
Then a few weeks ago Car Lights popped up on a trending thing and… I’m still not sure why, but a bunch of people were listening to it. So I figured I should as well. So I sat and put the ep on and gave it a listen through again. The relisten was a good idea because for some reason it triggered something in me, because it’s just so good? It’s kinda sad? Kinda romantic? And I got kinda gay vibes, which is apparently a point (I really need to find out where he talks about it, someone mentions it in the YouTube comments but didn’t link anything).

One thing I realised I meant to add to yesterdays post but I’m gonna add to this one is that the new series of Taskmaster has a date: it’s on two weeks yesterday. Which yay! We could do with something funny and ridiculous (but in a good way).
Sims 4 is going free to play next month and previous owners can get a free thing (a tiny pack) but I can’t seem to find it on Xbox even though it’s meant to be there. Not only that but it seems to be, oddly, linked to a strange email account that I can’t figure out. Which… is baffling. I can’t seem to find out what the email is but I might try again later.
I’m annoyed at myself because I realised today that the new series of Magnum PI had come on pick (or new to me anyway) and I’d completely forgotten. It started on Monday and, in true Pick fashion it’s been on every day so I’ve missed 4 eps ugh. Hopefully I’ll be able to watch it tonight cause tonight’s one mentions being ‘trapped in a storm’ and that’s a trope that isn’t used enough.
Last night my mood just utterly crashed and I’m not sure why depression decided to do that but. Ugh. I was at a loss what to do, no one was streaming and nothing was on… but then I saw the Pokemon twitch was streaming eps so I decided to watch and… what the fuck was with the first one having the most depressing start to an ep? I mean it had a happy ending due to unexplained time travel shenanigans (really unexpected, there wasn’t even celebii involved or anything) but still…
My mood seems largely evened out but I still have… a Bad Feeling.
Today also had an annoyance because, ugh. My money is meant to go in Monday, but because it’s a bank holiday it’s standard to put it in the previous working day (aka Friday). Of course the money wasn’t in when I checked this morning. Thankfully I found out I wasn’t alone, because it made me worry the call that didn’t come had fucked it up (or general screwed up nonsense). It was in by lunchtime but still…. It was so annoying and such a worry and just ugh.
I’m just gonna bundle up now and watch random some, before Name Your Price is on with Karl, Quacktiy, Corpse and Tina.
