Illogical progression on the timeline

I think MCR releasing new music has done… something because this weekend has had a few strange things happen.

First is the obvious thing from the last post, us coming in second in Eurovision (which still feels like some sort of prank).

Then Quackity shows up at Karl’s and I’m not sure if that was planned or if it was cause he saw Karl all over Foolish and had to go be there.

And then yesterday the Doctor Who twitter announces, out of nowhere, that 10 and Donna are coming back next year! Doing what they’re being vague about, other than it’s filming. My guess? Since it’s an anniversary year it’s gonna be a multi Doctor episode with the new Doctor with 10 and Donna. Of course I could be wrong, but whatever it is it’s awesome to have the, back!

And I forgot in everything that the new Doctor got announced last week too, I’ve not seen him in anything before though it seems he’s in Sex Education and people think he did good in that? I’ve not seen it so can’t comment on that. But he seems nice and I’m curious to see how he does in the role.

But yeah weird things are happening. It’s the start of the MCR tour tonight (I wish I was there I’ve always wanted to go to the Eden project) so who knows what else will happen.

They do seem to be weirdly connected to every other pop culture thing somehow, don't they?

I had not heard that about 10 and Donna! That is so cool! I really need to get caught up still; I haven't watched Jodi Whittaker's specials yet.

Haven't seen Sex Education either, but I've heard similarly nice things about it.

Yeah! It’s really strange it feels like them returning had… done something

Yeah it’s so cool! When the announcement happened I missed it cause I was doing some Lego Star Wars and the moment I checked twitter I saw someone mention them. I’d assumed it was cause they were doing another audio thing but no! And they’re filming right now!

I hope you like them, I had some thoughts when I watched them

Yeah all I really knew about it was it had Gillian Anderson in it, but that’s about it

It's so tempting to think of them as actual cryptids or magicians or something. I joke, but they did that whole post-acopalyptic concept album predicting a massive near-extinction event and were only off by one year. It's . . . uncanny.

That's awesome! We're up to Season 7 on our massive Who Rewatch at home (the mid-season Christmas special, so Clara is coming in next). I'll see if we can skip ahead, because I don't really care for Capaldi.
