Mar. 23rd, 2022 11:08 amSo it’s now been a week since my last post, oop.
So what’s happened? Not much honestly. I’ve felt largely drained, likely due to the stress of everything, so I’ve been sleeping earlier most nights, not even watching or gaming anything. Which is annoying as I have both a bunch of stuff I’ve meant to watch as well as stuff to game.
Despite that I did manage to do some gaming. First I finished What Lies In The Multiverse which… I’ll admit the ending ended up puzzling me, though I’m not sure if it was due to the game or tiredness,. There is, according to the achievement listing, an alternate ending which I’m wondering if it’ll clear it up, but there doesn’t seem to be any info about exactly how to get it yet.
Tunic came to game pass Wednesday, after the ID at Xbox gaming thing on the same day, so I’ve started that too. It’s very cute, but also very hard and it’s not always exactly clear on what to do. I’ve rung the first bell and on my last time on it got the shield.
I’m hoping tonight, or tomorrow, to watch Shada because, despite meaning to, I’ve not watched it yet. I wanna finish the last two discs of the Doctor Who boxsets this and next week, so I don’t have to mess around with disc switching when Lego Star Wars comes (which looks so fun and I’ve been so looking forward to it).
The other day Kill The Lights said on insta that they were gonna be doing some gigs with a band called Monuments (I’ve not heard of them) and I didn’t think anything of it at the time. But this morning I got a message from See Tickets saying that the tickets I had for the gig now apply to this one. Which in some ways is good because yay date! But also there’s two other things.
First off the venue. It’s different to the original one (which I hadn’t been to before anyway) so I decided to look it up. Turns out it’s further from the city center than the other one, closer to the sea life center. But also the venue’s website is this which is just the name of the venue, address and phone number which seems… strange. No doubt there’s a Facebook or something which they use more, but it seems odd.
Issue two is the date, which is next month on the 29th which is mum’s birthday. I’m sure she won’t mind that much, both considering it’s a rescheduled date (and not as if I did it on purpose) and we’re going to Birmingham the following week for free comic book day which serves as a belated birthday trip. But yeah it’s very…
Still no word on the Set It Off dates, but they’re putting up new US tour dates which is… annoying,
I feel sorry for Sapnap because he’s had to pull out of MCC this weekend, likely due to his ear issues. I really dunno what he did to damage them so much. I hope he’ll be ok. At least he’s not alone with Karl and George, and Tina too. Hopefully they’ll do another stream before they have to leave, but maybe the ear thing means he has to stay longer. They did do one on Saturday where they did chess and I dunno how they do it because chess baffles me.
I think I’m close to finishing the fic I started last month due to the valentines meet up, which took such an annoying amount of time to actually finish due to… everything. But it should be done (hopefully) tonight or tomorrow. I’m leaning more to tonight but we’ll see.
I need to contact my tutor after this post because I’m still at a loss about the project and apparently there was meant to be a thing this week which I had no idea about. Ugh. It’s so annoying.
Did anyone else see comic relief? Was it any good after 9 when I stopped watching? It seemed a bit… I dunno. I know there was meant to be a QI bit which I do wanna see but I’m not sure if I wanna go through however long the rest is.
My net has also been odd the last few days, randomly stuttering and going offline, usually just briefly but it’s still very annoying. Hopefully it’s stopped now but…
Last and certainly not least, an update on Naryu. She seems perfectly fine which is good, and she’s still her usual self. Case in point when I watched Dynasties on Sunday, she was barking at the pumas, so I had to pick her up and have her in my lap to calm her a bit. It seemed to work and she was completely enthralled, though I couldn’t do anything else at the time.
We’re gonna take her for a walk soon, then I’m gonna watch last nights bake off cause I couldn’t watch last night and then…. We’ll see.

Date: 2022-03-23 03:36 pm (UTC)I have to admit, I didn't see any of Comic Relief. The cause is great but nothing really tempted me to watch.
That's such good news about Naryu, hopefully, she stays like that until all this is over.

Date: 2022-03-29 10:00 am (UTC)Of course! When I looked it up it was near the sea life centre which is a bit out of the way from the main city.
