This isn’t about them

shadowhiveUpdate, or rather lack of one, about the kitty. I’ve not seen them since they went out. I checked a few times, including before bed. It does seem that something ate the food I left out, but weather it was them, Leia or something else I dunno.
I just hope they’re ok.
Yesterday ended up being a tiring day. Mum’s friend came and, as always, I ended up having to go to town to take money in. Why she doesn’t have a card of her own I dunno but… eh. I did get tees and some Lego minecraft sets (oops the bee farm unlocked a fixation it seems) as well as sone stuff from Iceland.
On the way back I got on the wrong bus. Well semi wrong, it was the right bus, just heading the other way. It through me off cause it had my villages name on the front, but it took longer to get back ugh.
As in the last post, getting back meant kitty so I spent a big chunk of time with them in the kitchen, keeping an eye on them and making sure Naryu didn’t disturb them. And then Leia wanted to come in, I opened the door and they were off. I hope they found their way home though I suspect they don’t have one.
We walked the pup briefly, then just snuggled and watched tv, until I popped my earphones on to watch MCC while finishing fic. I didn’t fully understand all the different game modes, but the Dream Team won which is 🖤
Today has proven to be another lazy day though this time we watched jumanji the next level cause it’s just come on netflix. It was pretty fun and funny, I dunno how it rates compared to the last one but iI liked it. One thing it does show is how talented some of these actors are, playing multiple people as the avatars and all making it clear when they’re different.
Tonight has been Doctor Who so thoughts below (but first some on last weeks).
Last weeks ep was War of the sontarans and it was mainly focussed on the titular sontarans, thus making the story a pretty self contained one which was good. I liked how there were call backs to prior sontaran stories and that it actually made them an actual threat. It’s easy to laugh them off as looking potato like, but this time they actually managed to show off that they’re warriors. Sure it was against a vastly inferior force but still.
I also liked the triangular floating robots in the other storyline.
While last weeks was straightforward this weeks… was not. Dan, Vindor and Yaz are thrown along their time streams, with each other taking the place of other people that were actually there. From the three of them Vindor actually benefitted most from this, as it shown off how he ended up on the station, because he was principled and wanted to do the right thing.
The Doctor was also thrown along her time stream, which shown he time with the division fighting against the swarm. It was nice to see the fugitive doctor make a appearance again, Though it does make me wonder what the division actually is. I’d assumed it was just Time Lords, but it seems like it might be something more. And then the Doctor meets a mystery woman, who says the flux isn’t an accident or natural, but was created. But by who? Or what? Isn’t still unknown.
Then there was the addition of someone else’s story, Bel, who was searching the Flux ravaged universe for someone. This was a bit less effective then anything else, even with the brief appearance of daleks and cybermen. It felt a bit obvious she was Vindor’s love, and it felt a bit disappointing when it was confirmed (id hoped there be a curveball and she was looking for someone else) but eh.
The episodes structure meant it wasn’t exactly the easiest to follow, with it jumping around everywhere and I hope next weeks, will be much more standalone like the sontaran one last week. Plus it has angels.
The rest of the night is gonna be ??? I’m mostly gonna snug I think, maybe game or brainstorm or something. I definitely wanna stay up till midnight, when my money will go in so I can order Set It Off’s ticket,
I just hope they’re ok.
