shadowhiveNot done a proper post for a few days (and I forgot song Saturday oops) so here’s one.
I’ve not done too well we’ll with kinktober yet, mainly because I look at prompts and my mind is blank for who to use with them which is kinda sucky. I did do the first one though so I might do the others, just late.(if anyone has suggestions for prompts lemme know on this post)
I’ve read through some of the kinktober fics, mostly Chieana’s and they’re pretty good so far and have been a wide variety (with two so far being Ray centric so yay!). Unfortunately they got some anon hate on one of them which sucks. I might read some of the other peoples stuff, though I’m kinda nervous with some (mostly in case people are rude)
But since it’s a kinda fic rec thing some other people have been doing good fic lately Fadefur,sourgreen and carrythefire have all been busily ficcing and doing awesome stuff.
Because it’s Spooky season I’ve been watching spooky stuff and my thoughts are here. I’ve managed to watch a few films so far, though kinda failed on Sunday (cause I got tired of only watched a treehouse of horror) and yesterday (cause my head had been funny all day after a restless sleep). Bad Candy arrived yesterday so I’m gonna try and watch it tonight (and then evil of the daleks tomorrow).
I also did some 👻spooky👻 gaming. I started by giving Curse Of The Dead Gods a go. It’s a game that recently came to gamepass so thought I’d give it a try. It seemed pretty good during the one run (though a lot of that was about the controls). I’d say it’s a mix of Slay The Spire (by choosing the path you go) and Hades (how it plays on the levels).
The second game I went on was Arietta Of Spirits. There was a demo event awhile back and I tried it and thought it looked so good, so I got it as part of a promotion (and using credit). I managed to finish it over a few nights and even got all the collectibles (the only achievement I didn’t get was the extreme mode one, which unlocks after a play through). It’s a kinda sad game in some ways, but also there’s cute ‘Cubs’ to find. (And the bosses feel like a difficulty spo pike compared to the rest of the game.) I’d have liked it to be a bit longer but then again it was good to completely a game. I’d definitely recommend it, just bare in mind it’s not too long (I did it in about 4 hours or less)
I dunno what spooky game I’ll go on next though I know I wanna do Dead By Daylight for the achievement thing.
Uni started yesterday and they’re using a new site/system for it which… I’m not terribly on board with. The first section of the course had a link to a pdf to read… which is 16 pages. Usually it would have that on websites so you can easily save where you are to come back to but this just… doesn’t. It’s a bit annoying, especially since my head was funny these past mornings.
Mood has been odd as usual but not terribly low so I guess that’s… something? Though my head being funny has kinda took focus away.
No sign of uni money yet. I’d like to hear something from there, so I knew if I was getting it or not and could plan accordingly but.. eh.
Food shop came today and I’m not one card short of the full sainsburys set: Finn. So if anyone has him lemme know. Annoyingly it came just before the smash reveal so I couldn’t focus on it, but it’s pretty cool that it’s Sora from Kingdom Hearts which I gather a lot of people wanted. I guess I’ll need to play the games (and get the passes if the money comes)
Gonna snug now and watch Bake Off in a bit, before watching Fringe. (And boo Nina leaving strictly)
As always I’m sure I’ve missed something really obvious that I meant to say, but it’s gone completely.
Edit: I remember one think I wanted to mention. I finally got talk talk to take seriously the socket needing replacement…. But it’ll cost £40 the fuck? They’re useless
