Song Saturday - Waterparks 2

shadowhiveSo already we’re at the first band twice, which is, if I’m honest, unexpectedly fast but eh.
This is the new Waterparks vid for You’d Be Paranoid To (If Everyone Was Out To Get You) which just got put up yesterday. The song itself got posted just a few days ago and ugh it’s something that I could relate to right away (albeit I couldn’t quite pick up on all of the lyrics right away cause Awsten can sing so fast it’s crazy). I definitely feel them a lot. Also, Mikey plays bass on the song, though he’s not in the video boo.
The vid is a tad manic in some ways, but I like the start where the boys switch outfits/instruments (though I’m still not sold on the tracksuits). Otto does the skinny thing with his stick that drummers do (what is that called? Does it even have a name?) and his pup makes an appearance too (and I don’t mean Awsten).
Because of the lyrics it could’ve been a depressing vid but I’m glad they didn’t go that way, though the sight of Awsten lifting weights is ridiculous.

Speaking of Waterparks they released a ye exclusive version of the new album and so I ended up preordering it. You coulda got it with a photoshoot ticket but it’s at slam dunk and I’m not sure if I could get there,
Anyway!
It was Mum’s birthday Thursday. It wasn’t a terribly exciting day, we didn’t see anyone and there was nothing from her brother which is no surprise. She went to the library as usual (though the time is changing from next week ugh) so I ended up making her cake. It went mostly ok though for some reason the buttercream I did went wrong, though she helped do some when she got back.
Once she got back we watched some Castle’s, then ordered Dominos pizza (nom!) and ended up watching the first Potter film. I still remember when I first watched it. I wasn’t bothered at first (it was mum that borrowed the vhs from someone) but the scene that got me? The lil dragon hatching in Hagrid’s. It’s so cute and it’s a shame it’s not in more.
The net has been annoyingly bitchy lately which is just, ughhhhh. I think it’s due to the box in the wall, which I guess means that we need someone to come though I’m not thrilled by the idea. I’ve still not had my first jab and don’t really want someone coming in.
I’ve been playing Valhalla some more lately and ended up doing the Lunden arc. Are Erke and Stowe a thing? It gave an option to flirt with the latter but nothing came of it. (I expected there to be something at the end but nope.)
Yesterday I was a bit exhausted cause the Buck’s Fizz we had for mums birthday was pretty strong. There was mail yesterday though, the newest Who magazine, some things I got from the my Nintendo store (since they fixed the absurd p and p for the points stuff) and Pokemon snap! I played it a bit yesterday and it’s so so pretty. I’ve got some pretty good pics and I love it so far.
While walking the pup we saw the baby coots again (and there’s more than we thought!) though there was no sign of the ducklings. Hopefully they were just in the reeds somewhere. We also saw baby squirrels playing which was so cute!
I started Intergalactic last night and I’m curious to see how it’s going to go. Since it’s a first ep it’s definitely put up a few things that will be looked into deeper, at least I hope so. (Like who is the Doctor and why is she such a threat? What’s the stuff that’s so dangerous/prized that it’s an arrestable offence? Why’s Earth called the common world?)
its now May which means in a few days it’s May 4th, so I hope we get some cool new Star Wars reveals. I’m gonna try and watch the last Clone Wars season at last before Bad Batch starts on the day. There’s an offer on the Lego site though I’m not sure if I’ll get it, mostly because the pricing to get it is so annoying. (And I suspect if. I get it somewhere else will have a different deal). I guess we’ll see though.
I’m hoping to watch/game something spooky tonight too, and maybe fic some more but we’ll see,

That's an interesting video, I enjoyed the clothes switching but will need to listen a bit more to take in the lyrics fully.
