I’ve not posted since the weekend’s Who post, oops.

There’s been nothing super eventful happening this week. My Elder Scrolls loot crate is still awol (the tracking hasn’t updated since the 9th so I’m not even sure if it’s left the US). I did a little reading but not as much as I hoped.

The bandom kink meme did get a nice fic a few days back, a Frank/Ray which is here. The prompt wasn’t mine but I’m glad it’s been filled because Unf.

For some reason, I’m not sure why, mum wanted to start an X-Files rewatch, so that was started Monday afternoon. We’ve got quite far into season one already, 8 eps. Most of the ones so far are ok, but that’s cause it’s early days of course. Yesterday’s was the best so far and I think it’s the best of season one as a whole and that was Ice. It’s set in an Arctic research station with parasitic worms found in the ice and it’s so good. The effects hold up pretty well too.

Yesterday I went to the co-op and managed to get dog food for Naryu (it seems to be hard to come by lately) and my Lego Star Wars magazine. I caught my hand against the barrier at the till as I was packing and on the way back home realised it was bleeding. I’ve got a plaster on it but it’s annoying. And then when I took my jacket off the bracelet from my witchy mystery box had broke which is sad.

It seems to be the week for games to be updated, as three of mine have updated. First there’s Elder Scrolls Online, which did an update to the champion points system, but it was annoying cause it reassigned all the skill points as well so I had to go through that. I’m not sure how much of a difference it’s actually made, but ah well. (I need to do more scrying on it, I wish they’d done an inventory update)

Second was AC Valhalla which added an Easter event, which started yesterday. I finished off some of the Asgard questline that I was last on (I’m not going to Jotunheim yet though) and did some of the quests for it. I’ve got enough tokens to get the main prize and some of the decorations, as well as the flower beard for Eivor. Plus they had a freebie in the helix store which seems it had the Yule stuff. (There’s a helix sale too and I’m tempted to get some to get the unicorn ship, even though it’s the least intimidating ship ever)

Last of the three updates was for Animal Crossing (aka the other AC) and it’s main addition is adding the Sanrio furniture. I scanned all the cards and the stuff looks so nice, but without an increase to storage/house size/island I’m not sure about getting any. I do wise there’d been more since it’s the first anniversary update, but... maybe they have something planned? Since oddly there hasn’t been a video for this update on twitter (other than the one a few weeks back).

I won a code on Sunday for a game called In Rays of the light and I had a go on it last night and I’m not sure what to make of it yet. You start the game in a derelict building (it looks like it might be a school or something like that) with no idea where you are, what your objective is or anything. A few times I had to look up what to do and realised I’d missed keys and such, which is annoying. I might wait until there’s a proper text walkthrough before going back on it. (The last thing I did was involved with a generator in the basement and I got fuel for it but couldn’t seem to get it working)

There’s a Mario sale and I picked up Mario maker 2 (I’m not sure about getting Paper Mario, I’ve heard mixed things about it and know Maxx was frustrated by it) and I’ve been doing the story mode. It’s sweet, with Toads building up Peach’s castle (and doing courses to get coins to pay for it). I’ve been able to do most, though some are tricky.

I started writing a thing a few days ago, it’s just a paragraph but we’ll see if it goes anywhere.

I’m gonna watch the first Falcon and the winter soldier soon, then probably an X-File. And then there’s Red Nose Day tonight. I’ll usually just watch the first part, unless there’s something good on the second. I’m thinking of returning to watch horror films on the weekend, either Slaxx on shudder or the Block island sound on netflix,

I was such a huge X Files fan, even now I can remember Squeeze and Tooms in the vent.

I hope your crate starts moving soon.

I've just finished watching The Falcon and The Winter Soldier. I liked well enough but suspect it'll get better the further on we go and the more interaction they have.
