Challenge #4

Ironically, yesterday I did a post that was about Resolutions so I’ve actually kinda done this.

However I’ll add two more specifically for this.

*Write. I have about half a dozen WIPs that I really need to work on and finish. I hope I can one of them soon. Almost all are The Umbrella Academy and Klaus ships.

*Go through and comment more on other snowflake posts. I’ve mostly just commented on stuff on my friends list so I’m gonna try and look through some others at some point.

Yesterday I did do some reading, reading the next From A Certain Point Of View Story which is my favourite so far. It’s about the guy that, famously, comes between Han and Leia as they argue on Echo base. Turns out he’s a sweet guy, if a little clumsy, with a crush on a tauntaun handler (and there’s a tauntaun called Sunshine) and the end is just amazing. I know we’ll likely never see him again but I’d love a follow up.

I took in my prescription and popped in the co-op quick and they have Easter eggs already! I’d say boo, but they had the Mini galaxy ones which are just the best.

Last night I went on Valhalla some more and I’m still annoyed by the festival being screwy, but I started the next alliance quest line. There’s a guy called Ivarr and he’s kinda hot (his hair reminds me of Skrillex, half shaved half long) and he’s a total sadist. I’m gonna look through ao3 once I’ve done it to see if there’s some fic of him with Eivor (or his brother).

Then I did a few random games but I just ended up feeling drained probably because of *gestures at the obvious*

This morning the next Who magazine came, yay! So I’m gonna read that soon. I wanna get the yearbook, but the shipping is about £3 and sainsburys didn’t have it before Christmas so... ugh.

The first High Republic book is gonna arrive today so that’ll go on my soon to read pile (which isn’t a thing but should be).

You pre-empted the challenge, lol! That's nice and organised, I'm terrible at making resolutions or goals but this challenge makes me face it, as there are some things I really should achieve.

UK postage is getting way too high isn't it, sometimes you end up paying more for shipping than for the items!

Yeah! It was extra annoying cause there’s meant to be free shipping this week but nope. It’s worst on American stuff because that happens.

Those are two good goals.

I enjoy reading other Snowflake posts, I can't always do it due to the sheer numbers, but it's nice to read and comment away from my friends.

I can't say I'm surprised at Easter eggs already. They always seem to arrive as soon as new year is over. Guess it leaves lots of time to buy, eat them, and need to buy again.

Yeah I’m sure I’ve seen them around now before. It’s just that the galaxy eggs I like are either easily available or nowhere to be found so I’m glad it’s the former

EASTER ISN'T UNTIL APRIL THIS YEAR *shakes fist*. I'll just be over here muttering and kicking things.

I LOVE the books that explore the background SW characters, it's such a rich universe and there are so many stories to be told. It actually feels like something that would be really fun to try in a media fandom, maybe when UA is back?

Me too! I always loved the old tales of books. There’s not too many of them for the new stuff but the from a certain point of view books are great at that (there’s been two so far, A New Hope and Empire Strikes Back) and they both have 40 short stories.

Easter eggs already??!!! As wenchpixie said, Easter isn't until April this year! I will never understand how some shops think.
