Playing with good luck
Jan. 24th, 2023 01:23 pmYesterday I added a few things to the shop that’s coming today and to my surprise they had cat litter. They’ve not had any in stock for ages (nor in store when mum’s friend checked), to the point that we had to order some from Amazon a few days ago. I made sure to disallow substitutions so we don’t end up with expensive stuff the girls don’t like. (According to the receipt email they are coming so…)
After debating for awhile, I decided to get the mastery pass on magic arena and I’m glad I did because from one of the packs it unlocked was Sorin the hot vampire planeswalker! So I made a deck around him (I’m not good at deck building) and it seems to work ok, though I didn’t draw him once in the 5+ games I did last night. I might make a secondary dual colour deck at some point today.
Last night I finished Down In Bermuda, which only needed me to do one island. It was a nice little indie game and I did like it, though I wish there was an option to replay the specific things post game that had achievements.
As is common when we plan to watch something (enough that we joke about it) something came up so we didn’t watch the next Cabinet ep. Which was ok, cause my eyes were feeling tired. I put on the next Who audio instead which went much like the last one in terms of reaction. I’m surprised the thing in it didn’t turn out to be Nimon though (or maybe they were, cause it wasn’t outright stated)
This morning I did another chapter of uni stuff (after finishing another yesterday) so hopefully I should be ok to do the assessment next week (though the idea of another so soon is just… ugh, I’m sure they’re sadists).
When I came down I checked Facebook and I’m glad I did because I saw Adam Lambert is doing some signings for the new album. I rushed to do it (having to use mums friends number cause why did it need a mobile?) so now we’re going at the end of February. It is a bit annoying that it’s a Sunday, because that’s one of the most annoying days transport wise (only one train an hour, and I’m not sure if there’s a bus) so I really hope there’s no strikes that day or were fucked. But still!
I was checking twitter and it seems that the dream team mystery bag is back in stock so I’m debating that cause I missed out due to all the money nonsense. It is a fair bit though so I’m not sure (and I’d have to decide pretty fast). So I’m gonna have a ponder about that.
The food delivery is due soon so I’m gonna end there. Rest of the day is gonna be mostly resting, doing some magic arena and maybe the quarry some more tonight (depending on if anyone streams and such). But ugh it’s cold
