Watch what happens next
Mar. 9th, 2022 02:47 pmFirst off thanks for everyone that has donate to the ko-fi for Naryu, you’re all so sweet and awesome! The money should go into my back account this weekend and I’ll siphon it off with my own so we there should be 50-66% there.
Mum has made some calls to try to get other pricing but has had no luck. PDSA is apparently only doing emergency stuff due to covid still. One was meant to call back with an estimate but hasn’t. Another (where we took Solo, my old cat, to fix his leg) wants a £35 appointment and to transfer records before an estimate which…. Is annoying because it means all her care will have to go through them and it’s location is inaccessible without a car.
So… yeah. We’re no closer to having anything sorted.
Thankfully the Tubbothon has been a welcome distraction, which has been nice…. Even though it has meant I’ve not really been able to do anything done. It has ended now though, after lasting 8 days. It was down to one hour last night and held it for about 9+ hours which is something. He finally did play civs last night though I’m not sure if he won or the game even finished. I can’t seem to find anything either way. Last I saw before drifting off was just him and one other on the chat and he had nukes.
One of the things I did manage to see though was that Sapnap made it to the uk and streamed with George which was a verry sweet. They bounce of each other so well and there were some cute moments. (And it was funny Quackity was in chat saying they should kiss.) And of course Sapnap’s stream was about food. It did make me want taffy which I’ve had for a bit and wanna try the blue drink they had.
Monday I finished my uni assessment which was ugh. It was less finished and more me submitting it, giving up on doing one question (which was apparently badly worded and gave others a tough time too) so I just submitted it, too stressed to do more.
And then yesterday, when I was planning to just take a break and recharge, my head felt funny and I was all woozy. Not helped by food shop coming (with bad substitutions). Thankfully I’m feeling a bit better today though.
Battlestar Galactica has started on horror channel so I decided to watch it. It’s the old school one, which I remember watching as a kid (on the slot on bbc 2 where they’d also play Buffy, Farscape and the Treks) but I don’t think I watched from the start. The opening is three eps long and it’s kinda a surprise how they’re dealing with a logistical problem already (even though it makes sense.)
Build a bear has announced the axolotls are back which is just.. terrible timing. I hope they don’t sell out fast.
Hopefully now I can catch up on stuff, fic and game a bit not the tubbothon has ended, but we’ll see. I need to watch Picard since I’ve not seen the first ep yet (though Elnor looks pretty from the promos).
