May. 24th, 2021 12:52 amSo tonight I watched the Eurovision film on Netflix.
I think one of the reasons I’d not watched it was because I was worried it would mocking us, the contest, Europe, the participants. However it seemed people seemed to like it so I decided to watch it cause I’m obvious in that Eurovision mood and you know what? It was pretty good.
It was so obvious that this wasn’t a mockery, that a hell of a lot of love went into it. There were so many songs for it, complete with stagings and they were all soo well done. Plus there was a sing off thing midway through which featured previous winners which was epic. I’m really so glad that it was made by people that obviously loved the contest.
So yeah if you’ve not seen it go see it.

I’m also pleasantly surprised that there’s not one, but two fics in the Maneskin tag on ao3 set after the contest win. I’ve read the first and it was so good and I’m gonna check out the second either before sleep or in the morning. (I hope there’s a Blind Channel crossover fic soon)
