Jingle jingle!
Dec. 25th, 2019 09:39 pmThe last few days have been pretty uneventful, I’ve mostly been snuggled and watching stuff (including watching the Daniel Craig Bond films) and attempting to write but having no luck. I had hoped to get at least one thing done today but... nope.
The visual dictionary did come Saturday though so I’ve been reading my way through that, though we missed a package then somehow. It came Monday and was my Mandalorian/The Child tees, yay! My cousin came yesterday afternoon and spent the whole time he was here in the kitchen with mum which was... odd. At least there wasn’t a repeat of the other Christmas.
Anyway...
Merry Christmas/happy holidays! I hope everyone has had a nice day today. We’ve spent it inside other than walking th ep up and have been watching bbc1. Moana was on which I love as was Finding Dory. I dozed off during the midwives though, which I tend to do.
Present wise I got mostly Star Warsy stuff. From vin I got one of the metal ships (A TIE striker which I was short of), some chocolate and socks. Mum’s friend put some towards the Star Wars pop-up book which is so intricate. I’m honestly a bit scared of pulling some of the tabs too hard. But it’s nice, there’s little scenes from all over the films as well as big ones. Mum got me a few random things, including a shoulder porg, a Solo Chewie fig, pandora skull charm, jelly beans and two Lego sets. This morning I build the Pasana speeder chase which is from The Rise Of Skywalker, which was the one of the new sets I loved most. This afternoon was spent doing the Hogwarts Express. As kid I always wanted a Lego train but I never got one so this is my first. It doesn’t come with a track, but it does come with platform 9 3/4 (and the whole trio!).
I got mum a bracelet, scarf, bath bomb kit and the bag that she wanted (and drained my money) her face did light up when she saw it which was good so...
Tonight I’m gonna watch Kylie and then game a bit I think.
Hopefully over the next few days I can try and write some more, we’re also hoping to go to a Birmingham Monday if our money goes in. My goals are to look for comics, FinnPoe funkos from The Enterainer, look in the new Lego store and look in the forbidden planets for cheap Black Series figs and TUA funkos (the one in Wolverhampton posted on twitter the other day that they had ones of Five so am optimistic).
