Among the clouds

So today has been a slow day really. I spent the morning all curled up, though I did actually manage to read a fic from the ever mounting tabs of doom so that was good.

We took Naryu out for an early walk cause of the heat and decided to test out her new harness that we got her yesterday. It works pretty well, it’s nice and secure and now I don’t have to worry about her pulling on her neck so hard. We saw the geese and the babies are no almost as big as their parents! They look almost like them too, just a little smaller too.

I had some mail, in the form of qwertee tees, one of Wooloo and one of Link. The other bit of mail was from someone who works at Lucasfilm, that was offering copies of a Star Wars Empire cover from a few years back. I managed to get Lando. I’ve not had chance to look at it yet, but will soon.

While mum was off at the library I shifted the electric heater back by the tv (it’s summer so it’s not needed this close), I started the Lego tower app game which is oddly addictive for something so simple, and I read two chapters of Queen’s Shadow. There’s something so sad about these parts, of Padme going to visit Alderaan. It’s not that the chapter itself is sad, it’s the foreknowledge of what happens to the world.

I watched the usual stuff and wrote a little, though my mind has been annoying. Why? Because it’s been overthinking about yesterday. Specifically about things that I feel I didn’t say. I told her how much last year fucked me up, but I didn’t tell her the specifics about my bad days. I knew I’d missed something, I even said as much at the time but... Ugh. I can’t do anything now.

I tried to watch the bbc thing about the Serengeti earlier but nope, Naryu was just barking too much at everything, which sucks.

I’m gonna try and watch The Descendants now and maybe some Lucifer before sleeping, I hope to get back to gaming soon though.
