kat_lair I’m gonna try and post daily through July.
So yesterday I updated the fic masterlist after having lunch. And, while mum was up at the library I got the rest of the mushrooms and read some of Queen’s Shadow. I read a couple of chapters of it and things are definitely getting interesting. However after that I got drained and just dozed off.
We did have the mushrooms last night and they were nice so he’s hoping we get more harvests from the book.
I had intended to write some, but my creativity seems to have largely left me. As the night went on my mood seemed to go down too. I’m not sure if it’s cause of the date (the anniversary of losing Danny which Feb reminded me of), if it was stress from the assessment tomorrow or just plain old depression. Maybe some unholy mix of the three.
I did end up watching A Cure For Wellness last night. Honestly though I’m not quite sure what to make of it. It was a good film and there were some creepy concepts to it, but I dunno. I think it’s put me off spas though and put the Eels song from the mighty boosh in my head. Still, that’s one thing off my to watch list.
This morning we were putting the fleas stuff on the girls and when Leia ran upstairs mum yelled. At first it seemed that Naryu had made a mess on mum’s bed, but closer inspection showed that there was a dead chick on there too. We’re guessing it’s Leia that took it up sometime this morning (Midna’s not really bothered with outside) so she’s been told off.
Today’s gonna be slow. I might try and write but the main thing is gonna be the food shop coming in an hourish, which is always tiring. We might have strawberries tonight.
I’m not looking forward to the health assessment tomorrow. It’s stressful as fuck and irritating, so I’ll be glad when it’s over and done with (and I can de stress from it before sorting the next uni course). We’re gonna go early though so I can wander round beforehand so maybe I can find nice stuff.
