Don’t mess with the dead

shadowhiveSaturday wasn’t terribly eventful, to the point where I can’t remember all that much of what happened during the daytime part. I know I watched Murder She Wrote, as well as the Time Lord Victorious panel (which had a clip from the new Daleks animation which looks pretty cool), but other than that?
Night time however was different. I ended up watching the Hot Topic Mental Notes stream. Although Mikey was listed as hosting it he hardly appeared, perhaps for 5 minutes maybe more. He popped up at the start, end and both sides of a break partway through. He looked good though, with his neck exposed, and his voice is endearing. He appeared in the chat a few times too.
The gig itself was a bit random. There was no schedule at all and it was a bit haphazard. I was sure that BVB would be at the end but they were about midway through instead. All but the first two artists played two songs (the first two played one) and one played three. Most were unfamiliar though the new ones I heard were, mostly, pretty good and I’ve added them to Spotify. Kill The Lights didn’t have Moose but I wasn’t surprised. But yeah it was pretty good.
Because of that I didn’t watch anything that night and got pretty tired so.
Sunday was pretty much the same. We walked the pup and mum did some of the Galaxy brownies so that was good, though ugh she still does too much for Sunday’s. I didn’t watch any of the Sunday panels, though I did watch the Animaniacs one later. I hope we get to see it because I loved that show (and yay pinky and the brain!)
There was a Doctor Who panel about games that I didn’t watch but it turns out two are coming. The first is mobile which I was disappointed about at first cause I thought it might a: be like Pokemon go and need constant internet/walking and b might take up space, but it’s coming to switch so that makes it doable. The second is for consoles and has the 13th and 10th doctors, yay!
I managed to get the Taskmaster radio times which I was worried might be gone. I’ll have to read soon. On the way back I saw there was a light on in one of the neighbors so picked up the package we missed Friday when we were out with the pup.
On the night there was some minor twitter weirdness. I was followed by someone that listed their age as being 19 and had a Waycest pic as their first post, so I followed them back. Minutes later they changed their age down to 17 and removed the pic so I unfollowed them. Minors are just... annoying.
I ended up watching Agatha and the midnight murders on catch up but it wasn’t as good as I’d hoped it would be alas. Then I ended up watching Maxx’s stream for spooky Saturday (after sky at night which was pretty cool cause it showed things that were made for blind people). The spooky stream was for a ds game but damn it looked a bit frustrating, mostly because there was so much dialogue. But still it was fun to watch.
I considered going to bed cause I felt a bit tired, but ended up watching Ouija on channel 4. You can guess from the name what it was about, but it was better than I expected (and anything with Lin Shaye in tends to be good so I was surprised she popped up towards the end). But yeah it’s one of those films that makes you think ‘have these people never seen a horror film?!’ Oddly it made me wanna watch Ringu so I might tomorrow.
Today I did uni reading and mail came, so I have a build a bear Eevee and Pikachu as well as funko party Poison. Mum was not happy about the build a bears cause they were second hand so thought they might be infected but I’m sure she’s paranoid. (Although with the way things are going now we might be in another full lockdown soon and it’d be better if we did)
I ended up reading my book some this afternoon. It’s finally gotten to the events of Episode I, even though it’s what the synopsis of it focussed on. It’s gonna be the last third of the novel tops and already it’s breezing through it. I should be finished with it tomorrow though so will switch to something else soon. Maybe the Poe novel.
I watched something about Armadillo‘s this afternoon and they’re so cute! Making burrows that other creatures then move into when they move on. Plus there was a baby one! So cute!
Tonight I’m gonna snuggle and most likely watch Maxx’s stream and game some. I wanna go on Destiny 2 and Man of Medan this week but we’ll see.
