The rest of Thursday turned out to be pretty blah. My tummy felt all funny and I think it was due to something I ate. (Specifically these vegan goujon things.) It meant I didn’t do too much Thursday night and Friday Morning ?I felt a bit funny too, though it did pass thankfully.

Friday was uneventful because I was taking it easy, though I did watch the monterey bay stream at night which was pretty fun.

I did check for the mask, but it was already gone.

Saturday I watched Black Panther after Brokenwood Mysteries. I still think Killmonger is pretty hot and he is, more than any other MCU villain, a villain that’s got a point. It’s definitely one of the best MCU films.

I gamed a little after that, though not for long. Pathfinder is very wordy, which is a problem cause I lost focus a bit. Instead I went on Shudder and started Deadwax which seems to be pretty intriguing so far (plus, yay a same sex couple!).

Sunday was, again, pretty lazy. I didn’t do to much. I watched the usual Sunday stuff, then went on ESO (taking advantage of the imperial city event to do the white gold tower, which is probably all I’ll do since imperial city is ugh). And then watched another part of Deadwax before getting tired.

So yeah last week was pretty faily in terms of reading or writing much like usual. Alas,

Today we took Naryu to the vet, just for her jabs. While waiting we saw some cute dogs, including a cage full of puppies! The vet checked her over and said she was doing great and she was a good girl. So that went well and we weren’t kept waiting too long. (Though I had to pop into sainsburys for things which I wasn’t gonna do)

When I got back I spent the day resting, but there was mail. I ordered season 1 Part 1 of Seraph Of The End from Zoom and it came today. It looked interesting and was on sale so... plus it’s a collectors edition with a fancy book. I might start it this week but we’ll see. (I dunno much about it but there’s vampires) Rest of the day was witchy school (and passing a test) and finishing homemade soup mum did yesterday.

I did also order some stuff from the Rock Sound sale, mostly some Set It Off issues. I enjoy Maxx’s twitch streamsm there’s something soothing about him (Cody though seems a little loud).

I wish we didn’t have such a stupid government. Already COVID cases are rising and they’re still pushing people to go back to work/school which has always seemed like a mistake. On top of that they’re gonna screw up the withdrawal agreement (which is really gonna show how trusted we can be as a trade partner isn’t it?) which again, mistake. Whatever happened to having an ‘oven ready’ deal ready to go? And didn’t someone once say that a no deal was a failure? (and wasn’t that someone Boris?) For fucks sake we deserve at least a half competent government that’s not corrupt as all fuck.

Ugh.

I’m gonna snuggle and watch The Librarians now since it’s on to season 3.

That's great Naryu is doing well. Could you go in with her? My vet still won't let any owners into the practice, it's still drop and go, and I hate it.

Sounds like you're rocketing through the Librarians seasons.

Government fail. Large portions of population fail. If I have to listen to one more psuedo-science argument about how flu is worse, I might scream (spoiler alert; it's not. Yes, flu is deadly, but, if nothing else, if we scale up the current death toll for Covid to an annual figure, it comes in twice as high as the WHOs upper estimate for flu mortality). I am, I have to say, very excited about the influx of students due to hit my city in the next month. I feel this will go... well? Wait, that might be the wrong word.

The thing to remember about Brexit is that there has never been a plan, a deal or even an agreed objective. One of the things that most pissed me off about the 2016 referendum is that it was a choice between "what we have now" and "*jazz hands*". Whatever people were thinking when they voted in favour of it, was not what was on offer, because nothing about Brexit was specified in advance. It was all just buzz phrases and slogans, underpinned by contradictory views depending on which type of Brexiteer you spoke to, so it was largely always very likely to fail - you can't achieve anything if you can't agree on what you're trying to achieve.

Between Covid and Brexit, I suspect we're in for a very unpleasant winter...

Which is a cheery thought. On the plus side, Naryu's fit and healthy, so yay!

Good to hear that Naryu is doing well! (Even when you have no reason to think anything is wrong it's still reassuring to hear from the vet that your pet is in perfect health. At least I always do!)
