shadowhiveThe last days, like always, haven’t been terribly eventful. On Friday I did get mail though. I got the new Palaye album and the child from Amazon. This version of the Child is kinda plush, kinda soft plastic, if you squeeze his chest he makes noise and he comes with his soup bowl and a little frog. He’s pretty cute. He’s technically off mum (it was meant to be an Easter present but the dates got pushed back). That means I’ve got four versions of the child already, two funkos, the figure and now this one.
The guy was meant to do the door but... didn’t. Because of the weather. So he’s coming next week (I’ll believe it when I see it)
Also on Friday, I finally finished Black Spire. Hoorah! It only took me *mumbles*. But the end managed to be exciting enough that I wanted to keep on reading to see what happens. Although the epilogue is a bit... I know it’s set up for what happens at the actual Galaxy’s Edge park, but it feels it’ll be another book too.
Finishing that meant that I started the new Night Vale novel yesterday morning. The first chapter is pretty good so far and I can really hear the faceless old woman’s voice as I read it.mim curious to see how it will go.hopefully I can read it fast and get back onto the other things.
Also yesterday I went to get pet food. I was meant to go with mum earlier in the morning, but when she didn’t call up I assumed the weather was bad. (It wasn’t, then she moaned at me for not coming down sooner.) I ended up going alone in the end, which was a bit better. I couldn’t find my pod Img so I was musicless which made me a bit antsy (and my head annoying) but they did have the pet food. I also went in TK for the first time and it was... weird. I got some Star Wars books from there, but the shelves seemed emptier.
All that meant I missed most of the AC fishing tourney. It was ok cause I already had stuff from the spring one, though I’d have liked to get more of the things to have different customisations. I really want the other fish prints but, alas all I got was the umbrellas.
Good news though! I finally got a delivery slot for the shopping. So I won’t have to go Monday, huzzah!
I started Beyond Blue last night. It’s pretty good and looks very pretty (though I noticed the graphics stytter a few times). I’m gonna go on it again later cause I loved swimming with everything and there’s a weird noise from somewhere that we have to find out what it is. (Is it mining? A sub? We’ll see)
I also did some chasm till I got annoyed by that. It is good, but it’s so easy to die in it.
Speaking of gaming I finished Mario World 2 Friday and it was so cute and fun to do. Though I’m glad for the rewind function. I did watch the nintendo thing and paper Mario looks good though I’m not sure I’ll get it.
I ended up watching something on shudder, which I’ve meant to for awhile. Instead of watching something that’s been on my list for awhile I ended up watching The Beach House which only came up there a few days ago, it was actually pretty good, though I’m not sure what I was expecting it to be. It did make me wish that there was more LGBT horror films, but I think that every time I watch films in general. (Does anyone know any?)
I’ve unlocked my twitter today for the Ubisoft stream later. I hate having it locked and I’ve followed a ton of cat twitters so that’s good. The feed is definitely improved because of it.
That’s it really. I’m gonna snuggle, maybe read some Doctor Who and then go on Beyond Blue and watch the stream.
Oh speaking of Doctor Who, Drama channel is starting a run of it, starting with series 2 from next Saturday. It seems it’s just gonna be the Tennant run, though why didn’t it start with the Christmas invasion? I dunno. Maybe I’ll watch that separately.
Oh and the Umbrella Academy making of has been delayed from next week till August which is frustrating (though I’m pondering getting paper Mario or something causa that). We’ll see.
I’m hoping to do some messing around upstairs next week Too, though it depends on the weather and my mood. Hopefully it stabilises a bit now but... we’ll see.
