shadowhiveSo it seems the worst of the sickness is over now. I’m now just coughing really and with a blocked nose. My voice is still kinda scratchy though.
This week has been pretty... well bleh. I’ve been in bed most of the time and I’ve not been able to concentrate much. Therefore I’ve done no reading, either fics, books, comics, magazines or uni and no writing either (hopefully I will be able to at some point. I’ve also not done any castes yet. Simple reason, I’ve not wanted to infect anyone with this. So once it’s cleared up a bit more I’ll get on that.
Today, though I’ve been outside. Only to the co-op, but I got the total film and a Radio Times. I had a voucher that came with my uni card that I hoped to use, but nope, it’s for the other co-op (the one by the station). I don’t get why the too are different and it’s annoying. I did see some party food I’d like to try, there’s some Asian veggie things and chilli cheese bites.
The Mandalorian continues to be pretty good. The child is so adorable! (I need an icon of him once I put more paid time on here). Today’s ep was also pretty nostalgic heading back to Mos Eisley (and pit droids! Awww!) This series continues to be unexpected each week, it’s a shame we’re over half way through.
I’ve done a bit of gaming today and yesterday. Mostly on a Stardew. I’m now impressed Spring and I have a barn (with a cow called Pete), I got the bottom of the mine, got the dwarf translation guide and I’ve had smooches from Sebastian. 🖤 I did some Fallen Order but not much. I’m on Zeffo again and I’m about to go deeper into the ice caves when I next go on eep. I finished the Pokemon championship of Shield today too, woo!
Speaking of Star Wars (as I often am lately) I’m continuing the run tomorrow, hopefully I’ll get Solo and a Rogue One done to watch Ep IV at least on Sunday. I’m still wanting to get the full run done before the midnight showing (less then two weeks ahhhh!!!)
I’ve had a lot of trouble getting the Lego Star Wars advent calendar. I shoulda got it when it was discounted on amazon last month but nope. At the end of the month it pretty much started to disappear from the internet and I couldn’t find it anywhere. It’s only due to amazing getting it yesterday that I’ve been able to finally order it (although at full price ugh but still cheaper then the £40+ it is on eBay). Hopefully it’ll be here this weekend.
The plan was to get the tree up tomorrow. There’s no Christmas stuff around (bar the cards my friend send with a present this week). Alas I don’t think I’ll be up to lugging it down and mums had a charity thing tonight (till 9) so I doubt she’ll feel like it either. There was also a plan to go Birmingham this week to the Lego store opening event but... nope. I really don’t feel like making a trip like that. Mums suggested we go the following week but I’m not sure about that either. It’ll be super busy and I’m just not sure I want to.
So instead next week I’m gonna get back to normal, uni read, book read and gaming. Hopefully I’ll be able to fic but some stuff might be late.
I’m sure I’ve missed something too, ah well.

Date: 2019-12-08 12:23 pm (UTC)I have a mini fake-Christmas tree, which luckily I can just stick in the bin fully decorated and then pull it out when the next year rolls around. The hardest part is finding the time to stop by the storage unit to get it.
So in summary, I hope you find the time and energy to get your tree up soon!
