Revenge of the fifth

shadowhiveThe last few days have been pretty eventful. I’ve accomplished a few things. First off I finished a lot of uni stuff. I did the last of my uni reading, finished my project measurements and sent of the last assessment. Now all that’s left is the project write up and the exam (ugh).
I also finished my epic Kliego week fic. It totals almost 14K which is the longest one shot I’ve ever done, but I am super pleased with it and hope people like it. I’ve tried to be sweet and funny with it and, admittedly, it’s a kinda cranky idea but... yeah. I love it. The words for it just flowed out and if nothing else, I’m really proud of it.
Then we got hit by the news that Peter Mathew died. That’s so sad to lose another OT actor as he seemed to be really sweet and bought so much to the role of Chewie. I never got to meet him myself, but it was so sweet to see the outpouring of love for him. I hate sometimes it takes tragedy to show love.
Thankfully my money has gone in early ecause of bank holiday, which meant I got some Lego from amazon’s Star Wars day offers and had a nice day yesterday for Free comic book day. I got most of what I wanted, though I’m sure I’m missing something. And, again, uk gets screwed out of the Star Wars comic! Thankfully someone picked it up for me. Alas there wasn’t anything for Star Wars day at either forbidden planet, but I got a few things anyway. I got some funko (mostly from b and m), two figures from the entertainer and two cheap comics and some tees from Forbidden Planet (one has porgs!)
There were a few things I was looking for but I couldn’t get. HMV didn’t have the Pokemon offers listed on site and Poundland didn’t have the Star Wars blind bag funko I saw on twitter (lucky bastard who saw them).
After McDonald’s we ended up coming back home after a few more places, which was... early for us. But it meant I caught the Resistance repeats and the Phineas and Ferb Star Wars special. Damnthough, the ending of Resistance got me in the feels. Kaz losing his family, his home... and the colossus taking off. It was an awesome end and I’m looking forward to seeing how it goes.
After dozing we watched Dark Shadows, which was ok. I saw it once before, in the cinema with my ‘friend’ but it didn’t remind me of her thankfully. But after it I was too tired to game, so I just put on the twitch Pokemon stream.
Today I finished a fic and read a bit. I’m hoping to write more soon (I got pissed off cause a friend on twitter got antis having a go at him) and I’m gonna watch Atlantis since I found the blu Ray. I’m hoping to read some of my comics later too though we’ll see.
I’m debating getting either Call Of Cthulhu, Steamworld quest or taking advantage of Sainsbury’s blu Ray offer (if it’s still on when I do the shop) but I can only get one. (Call is on offer till Tuesday and I dunno if the offer at Sainsbury’s will be) Has anyone seen Mortal engines?
