The trial never ends
Apr. 7th, 2021 03:11 pmMonday had a few trailers get put up. The first was for Loki, which looks pretty interesting. It seems that he’s been captured and put to work by some sort of time agency (which, as someone mentioned, gives the commission from TUA vibes). I wonder how long it’ll take for him to try and use them for his own ends? (Plus let him kiss a guy yes?)
Then there was some Star Trek announcements for first contact day. I didn’t watch the panels themselves so I hope they’re up somewhere. First was a teaser for Picard and Q is back! I wonder if he’ll be in it for one or two eps or have a larger role? I hope we get to see larger roles for the other characters from season 1 (and Seven!)
There was a brief Lower Decks clip which looks fun. Hopefully this time it’ll come out in all regions at the same time.
There’s a new trailer for season 4 of Discovery. (I still need to finish season 3 and find where I was with it.) I liked the new costumes and that Ni’Var and it’s President are back. Plus it seems there’s a Federation President that’s at least part Cardassian. It is annoying, though, that there is another universe ending problem. I wish every season didn’t have one (I think what’s made season 3 slow going is that the burn was just a depressing concept).
Last was about Prodigy, no trailer but some pics and info. It seems Janeway is in it as a training hologram and it’s set in the delta quadrant. It should be interesting and I hope we get it.
Speaking of Trek I ordered Star Trek shipyards from Zavvi and it’s so heavy, I need to do a good look through them (it’s three books, Starfleet and federation ships). It’s a bit surprising that some of the main ships (Enterprises, Voyager, Defiant) have only a few pages dedicated to them. But I guess it’s good to give the others info.
After a few days where snow has been rumoured we got some yesterday, just a bit at first but then it came pretty heavy. It’s melted by today though which is a shame, though it has been trying again. It’s been so cold though I’ve used my new elder scrolls scarf.
I meant to do some gaming recently, and I did manage to get back on story gap quests on Valhalla, but I’ve not done too much. I just felt so drained Monday and last night that I went up fairly early. I’m hoping to do Deliver Us The Moon this week before it leaves game pass but we’ll see. I did get Yoshi’s crafted World from the switch sale though and it’s so cute so far.
Story of seasons is getting some updates so I’m pausing going on that till they come out.
I’ve meant to take this week to do uni assessment but motivation hasn’t been there, not helped by tummy feeling funny. It’s so annoying, I’m hoping to do some tomorrow. (And I need to do some book reading soon too.)
