Stretch yourself a little and try something new. Go play in a new fandom or with a new pairing. Try working in a new medium. Or check out some fanworks that are new to you. (The recs from Day 2 might be a good place to start.) Leave a comment in this post saying you did it. Include a link to your post if you feel comfortable doing so.

Funnily, I’ve already done this. As I mentioned in my post early, reading bandom_holidays led to me reading different genres than I usually would. You can find them all here and they are all awesome.

At about midnight I also read this a fic by lexicalcrow who is one of the new people I’ve met during the challenge. It’s a Taskmaster fic based on season 7 and it’s the first Taskmaster fic I’ve ever read.

Tonight I’m going to start watching Legends Of Tomorrow since it starts on tv tonight. I’ve always been curious about it so I’m looking forward to finally seeing it.

If anyone has a fic they’d like to rec, let me know and I’ll try and give it a read!

I’ve also edited my last entry in the challenge a little bit too.

I hope you enjoy Legends. It's a good show and I've always enjoyed how it doesn't take itself seriously.

I dropped Arrow, still watching Flash, recently watched Constantine, but it's Legends of Tomorrow that's become my favourite in all its joyful silliness that still manages to have serious plotlines/things to say beneath the very meta nature. It definitely gets better as it goes on, fully embracing the humour, but it's pretty damn good throughout.

Thanks! I’m watching the second ep tonight in a few hours, but I’d always liked the look of it (cursing when I’d see ads only for it to be on Sky so I couldn’t watch), I’m so glad they’ve put it on a channel I can watch at last💜

YOU WERE WATCHING FATHER BROWN?!?!?! NO ONE I KNOW WATCHES FATHER BROWN (I started watching it when the first season was on and I was off work with a slipped disc and I've recorded it every year since... no one's ever heard of it)

Yeah! I always try and watch when it’s on. Its so funny, which I like and I’ve always liked Detective/mystery stuff. I’ve never known anyone that watched either! That’s awesome though that you watch it too, yay! :D

I am, in fact, watching the first episode RIGHT NOW :).

I'm really quite excited to find another watcher! :D I like the detective/mystery side of things, but also that it tends to be less graphic (being on at lunchtime) and I do enjoy the characters - I mean, I wouldn't want to live there because I'd undoubtedly be bumped off, but it strikes me a quite a nice place to be other than that.. ;)

Me too, yay! Yeah I like that too. My only bad side to it is that it goes so quick since they play five eps a week and usually only do 10 a series so as soon you get used to it, it’s gone again boo. Yeah, I used to love Lady Felicia and any scene with her and Mrs McCarthy was great, I loved their friendship and bickering.

Yeah, like so many British Detective things, the death toll seems high for such a small community. I often think what people are thinking of to stay living there

Just sneaking in.. is the death toll worse than Midsomer? Because that one just terrifies me. Burn the village down already LOL

That’s ok! Oh man Midsomer is the worst, how is there still a population? father Brown isn’t as bad, there’s usually only one death an episode (and some eps have none!) but even so for a small community it’s crazy.

I recently watched a show called Agatha Raisin and in the first ep it was the first death in the area. And then there started to be more in the follow ups.

These shows make out like rural villages are death traps! 😁

I loved Father Brown! I was expecting new episodes this time last year after the Christmas but it was only repeats and I'm still sad. Probably need a full rewatch of all the seasons :)

It really is an awesome show, it’s always hilarious no matter how many times I watch it. I didn’t even think to check for fic based on it until I saw some recced during the rec post
