So i had a feeling there might be a challenge like this which is why I didn’t make a post about my top 5 fav things of 2025. Only then I completely forgot what categories I should had in mind. So I’m gonna post the ones I remember, then add another thing at the end.
Streamers
1: Seapeekay
2: Shoto
3: Tubbo
4: Foolish
5: Eret
First a general thing for streamers. These are the ones that stream regularly that I watch the most. (I do tend to drop everything if Geoff from Waterparks streams, but he’s just so random with it). Seapeekay is the most regular and I like the regularity of his streams (does that say something about me?) though I do wish him and Shoto didn’t have the same ‘slot’ most of the time. Tubbo I mostly watch when he does subathons and the last one, with his dnd campaign, cooking show and Liar Liar (like Would I lie to you) was just so entertaining.
Foolish is just a silly lil guy who’s always entertaining to watch and Eret, well they’re more infrequent now but I love his voice. (Honourable mentions to Jawn, though time zones mean I drift off to his streams, and Krowfang who again has a ncie voice).
2025 stuff!
Cinema Films
1: Sonic 3
2: Deadpool And Wolverine
3: Star Wars Episode 1: The Phantom Menace*
4: Alien Romulus
5: Smile 2
It honestly shocked me I only saw 5 films last year, I was sure I saw at least one more but it seems not. The * for Episode I indicates it’s one I’ve seen before (even in the same cinema once!). Romulus and Smile 2 may switch around I’m not sure.
It’s a shame Wallace And Gromit didn’t get a cinema release because that would definitely be up there.
Tv shows
1: Agatha All Along
2: The Acolyte
3: Skeleton Crew*
4: Doctor Who season 1 (yeah I hate they’ve called it that though)
5: Futurama
This is just for shows that came out last year (the * for Skeleton Crew is the last eps finishing this month) otherwise American Horror Story season 1 and Stranger Things season 2 would probably be on there too.
I’m sure no one is surprised by the top two but they were easily the best shows I saw last year.
Again Futurama and Who may switch around.
Games
1: Star Wars Outlaws
2: The Legend Of Zelda Echoes Of Wisdom*
3: Steamworld Heist 2*
4: Still Wakes The Deep

Again these are for games that were released last year and I’m sure I played another but I can’t think on what it could be (curse my backlog). I know I’ve played a bit of Indiana Jones, but not enough to have a fully formed opinion.
Here * ones are ones I haven’t finished. Heist I’m late game but got a bit stuck (and then health stuff happened) and Zelda I’m over half through (and hoping to get back to tomorrow.
I would have done a music one but only two new albums that I listen to came out last year, Wunderland by Wuant (though it’s only three songs) and Take Me Back To Eden by Sleep Token. Both are bangers and on Spotify!
(I’m sure I have missed something super super obvious from these lists, because my brain cell is hopeless)
So to add on, are top five things I’ve not listed that you’d wanna know about? I’ll reply to any and then edit them into the post!

Date: 2025-01-26 03:46 pm (UTC)I think the reasoning (though I’ve not seen it confirmed) is cause it’s in a partnership with Disney now, so people are think8ng it’s being called season 1 so Americans don’t get put off by it being series 14. But if that’s true they’ve also got an odd situation cause they had the anniversary specials and lumped in the recent Christmas special (set after season 1) with them
