shadowhiveUgh the past few have been so exhausting. The bad headaches have returned along with an inability to sleep and so that’s been so draining. It hasn’t helped that there’s been a lot of drilling lately too. Tuesday morning I woke to it right outside the house, then yesterday when I went to pick up mums meds (mostly so I could pick up some headache stuff, though it’s not helped) and today there was four lots of drilling as we walked Naryu. Which… ugh.
Other than that Tuesday was stressful for an additional reason. There was a switch updates and when it was done it would not recognise the memory card at all. I restarted it at least five times to no avail and was worried it might need to be fixed. Cause of prime day though I was able to pick up a new one which got delayed but did arrive suddenly tonight. Thankfully it works! So now all I have to do is re-download all the things which… ugh.
Yesterday I had to get mums meds and I wandered round the places there, though the bright light was a bit much. I got a creepy cat kit and an Edgar Allen Poe book from tk. Sainsburys had the Lego dnd figures and I got one and it was the elf bard that looks like Astarion, yay!
Then last night had more annoyance as I was watching Seapeekay play Until Dawn and then the net acted up for about half an hour which was so… ugh. I dunno why it did it but it’s stopped now, but I was worried it’d be a thing.
Other things:
I did finally manage to write, on Sunday night when I couldn’t sleep (before the headaches set in) so woo?
The Ranboo tee I won came, though I’ve not looked at it! I feel some other stuff that should’ve come has gone to the other 1 so I’ll have to check.
Tapped Out, the simpsons app game, is closing down in a few months which is a shame. They’re offering previous premium (and letting you get the premium currency with in game stuff) but they’re not in any real order which is annoying. It’s a shame it’s ending though.
The Who magazine subscription acted up so I had to resub and it means I’ll have to find the newest issue cause for some reason it didn’t wanna start from it.
Smile 2 is coming to town, so I’m gonna have to decide next week if I go to Birmingham or town, both have pros and cons though I’ll see when times get posted.
Now though to watch Taskmaster, then finish The Swarm and flop. (I’m sure I had something else to say but it’s gone)

I'm set to watch Phantom of the Paradise this weekend. I actually have a lot of spooky plans this weekend, starting with going to a local art museum for their Halloween exhibit. Excited!
Hope your headaches don't give you trouble for much longer. :(

Ohh I’ve not heard of that! And yay for Halloween art that sounds fun! I don’t have much specific weekend plans, though Us is on tv Saturday so I’m curious.

Date: 2024-10-11 11:16 am (UTC)I don't know a whole lot about it, other than it's based on Phantom of the Opera, but specifically as a Rock Opera, directed by Brian de Palma. Everyone I've talked to who's seen it raves about it.
I wonder if it's something to do with hurricane season? I know you're kind of far away for that, but who knows? It might be affected weather patterns and barometric pressure over there, too.
