In the dark dark

shadowhiveIt’s been a few days without a post oop.
It’s suddenly gone so cold which is so annoying. The past few walks with Naryu (though today has been a bit better) has resulted in my hands feeling like ice which isn’t good. (One day I did have gloves but I think Naryu ran off with them😭) It’s even felt freezing inside the house which isn’t great. We could put the heating on but most of the time the girls are on us and being stubborn and refusing to move so we have to suffer with it. Ugh. I think it’d feel better if we at least had snow but nope. Just cold and wind.
It also hasn’t helped that, on Tuesday, there was roadworks outside. It was so loud that there was no escape from it and it would stop and start. I was trying to do uni reading and whenever I felt it had stopped I’d open the book, start to read only to be met with drilling sounds. Ugh. At least it only lasted a day but it gave me a headache.
It also helped that it’s gone darker as well. Which, again, it wouldn’t be so bad if there was snow or a storm or something (especially cause they’re going around) but no.
That’s why I’ve not done the last snowflake yet, a mix of bad lighting, plus headache, plus cold. Hopefully it’ll be better tomorrow and I can come up with good things to take pics of.
It’s also not helped me with ficcing. I decided to try going back to an older kinktober idea and that seemed to help, but it got too cold to write and it felt I lost the thread. Then yesterday I started something based on a spark from the night before but then stalled cause I got hazy.
Good things though!
I’ve done a little on Jedi Survivor, not much but enough to get to and beat another mini boss which was good.
The next Time Travellers Tales issue arrived today so I hope it’ll be light enough one afternoon to read it and the first issue too.
There’s a few new shows on Netflix I wanna watch (yeah I need to get back to The Umbrella Academy and The Dragon Prince but oop) so I decided to start one. It was between Pokémon Concierge, Star Trek Prodigy or Sonic Prime (causa Shadow) and I went with Prodigy. I watched the first two parter and then one more and it’s really fun so far. I admire that it does something different and I’m curious to learn more about everyone (and the holo Janeway). Also they made a great choice with having a John Noble voicing the main villian.
Eret’s birthday subathon has been fun to watch too, though I did drift off last night cause cold and head. (And Tubbo’s planned subathon sounds fun)
Today I hope to fic more, if I’m not too cold, watch more of the subathon and maybe start Under The Waves tonight. Depending on how tired I get or how achy my eyes are.
It’s now almost a week till the James Marriott gig in Birmingham. I hope it breaks the gig bad luck streak and that I’m able to see a film beforehand (I wanted to see Night Swim, but I think it’ll only have late night showings by then).
Also ahh! New Doctor Who boxset announced! Season 15! Leela looks so awesome in the trailer for it

(One day I did have gloves but I think Naryu ran off with them😭) Oh that is no way to behave Naryu! It's definitely gloves and/or hat weather out there!
