Birthday ended up being a kinda mixed thing. I woke up feeling a bit headsachy and blah which wasn’t a great start. Thankfully the feeling eased up a bit over the day but it wasn’t too great to wake up to.

Along with James’ song going live he announced the album release it next month, woo! He mentioned a physical release for it and merch but nothing’s been shown yet.

I got Super Mario Wonder as a birthday present and I played a bit yesterday, getting up to the first palace. It’s very fun and I’ve loved the singing piranha plants, roller skating koopas and wiggler on roller skates. Plus Prince Florian is adorable. I’m hoping to go back on it more.

I also got the lego pirate snubfighter, but I’ve not had chance to build it yet.

There was an annoyance yesterday, to do with Naryu’s grooming next week. On the trip from the vets we talked and come to the conclusion it should be moved after the additional expense there. I assumed she was going to call to change it, even putting it back one week would be better. But no, she suddenly decided to go back on that, deciding to keep the appointment and going to town to the bank to get money. It was the principle behind it that led to an argument, she didn’t even say she changed her mind until saying about going to town. Which was ugh. (But more on that)

In the night after cake I sat and watched MCC, deciding to watch Seapeekay’s stream (even though he was late starting) and damn he really popped off this time. At one point he was even first over all (he ended up coming 4th) and the team even made it to dodgebolt! I dunno there was something about the whole thing that made it riveting in a way none of the last few have. I definitely need to do something based on it (and I loved the shirts they all had)

I saw clips of others later and there was a bunch of other insane stuff. Foolish and Tubbo getting into a fight, Ranboo somehow completely trashing their keyboard, Badboyhalo swooning over Foolish again. It was wild.

Sadly Midna was randomly sick last night, over mum where she was sitting, but she seems to be ok now and it was a one off. She curled on my lap after then headed upstairs for the night and seemed to sleep the whole night which was good.

This morning I woke and had the same feeling as yesterday which wasn’t the best, ugh. I checked the weather and, since I saw it was meant to be fine, decided to suggest heading to town today. I hoped she wouldn’t take it and I could head back home but she did ugh.

Largely it was a waste of time. The bank she wanted to go to was closed, weekends, despite all the other banks being open. So now she’s going on Monday to do that anyway, so it was definitely a waste.

Also I went to McDonald’s, I used some of the freebies from the McDonald’s things, but they didn’t have any McFlurrys boo. They also didn’t have any of the squishmallows, but didn’t say when I ordered the happy meal so I have a book instead. (Is anyone going anytime soon? I really want these little cuties)

I did manage to pick up a giant pumpkin, so I don’t need to track one download it’s not perfectly round, but it felt right so it could meet it’s Halloween destiny. I got a lil Halloween Skelton cup too which was misprinted a little but felt like I should get him too.

I got blind box micro galaxy squadrons things from Morrisons, because they were really reduced. I’m glad I did because one was the rare chase of the R2 with escape pod! So I’m so pleased about that. It makes me wish I’d picked up another box or two.

The bus trip rattled my stomach so it’s feeling unsettled (and my head has returned) so I’m going to rest a bit and then maybe do some Lego or more mario.
