Today seems to be moving in a direction, wheather that’s good or bad at the end of the day we’ll see.

This morning was the presale for the Lovejoy tour in September. I had debated if I should do it again, before deciding to go with it. Thankfully it’s at a different venue than last time so I don’t have to worry about the nonsense of the Set It Off gig happening again (if they tour again please do a date there). They had slightly reduced tickets as an option and I was able to get one and, all in all, it seemed much less chaotic than last time’s. (I was also, ironically, wearing their hoodie I got at the last gig because it went cold)

After that I had a phone call about the appointment. Turns out the reason the thing was so vague is it’s now with a new person and the person that made the original appointment didn’t not that it was supposed to be a call which is… ugh it’s annoying. However it is going to be a call, though I’m not looking forward to dealing with another annoying person (and calls in general) I’ll just be glad when it’s over next week.

There was some mail, in the form of qwertees. It was a Breath Of The Wild tee which looked nice, as well as a random one. The random one is a D & D logo which looks nice and which might be a sign.

While having noms I got a phone call saying the glasses are ready (yay!) though for some reason I can’t just go and pick them up and I needed to make an appointment to get them fitted which seems unnecessary. It means I don’t get them till Friday which is a nuisance.

Tomorrow seems to be going she sad and I’m gonna try and look in a few places (i wanna get the night sushi plush if it’s there and see if the Dead By Daylight comic is in or if it’s been delayed) but I think I might be tired to do too much.

But once that’s done I wanna try and order something to cheer me up. There’s a few things I wanna get and I should be able to get at least one. (A Generation Loss thing, Slime Story plush, Shoto body pillow) But we’ll see what’s in stock and how the money is.

The only time I've ever had to make an appointment to collect new glasses was two years ago, and that was at the tail end of Covid restrictions so at the time I thought it was something to do with that and didn't question it - maybe it's something the practice has kept up even though restrictions have since ended? Hope they're okay when you do get them though!

Yeah I think that happened when I last had them last year. Yeah you’re right maybe they decided it’s a good idea to keep, even though it’s a bit of a nuisance

As much as it is a pain I suspect having an appointment to get your glasses fitted and make sure they sit properly is a good thing. You've been waiting too long to take them and them be wrong again.
