Woo! I managed to get a Lovejoy ticket to Birmingham from the presale!

It was a bit touch and go for a minute because some of the tickets had gone in seconds (I thought people were exaggerating for other dates but no, I went into a refresh queue and by the time it refreshed the stall tickets were gone). So I’m up on the balcony which isn’t my preferred place but hey, it’ll do.

The fact that there even are balcony tickets means it’s in the bigger room of the venue, which is just totally insane that they’ve gone so fast.

But woo I’m seeing Wilbur!

Other things:
*I watched Trick R Treat Monday night, a week late but still.it’s still the best Halloween anthology movie
*I got an extension to the uni assessment (lot of good it does cause I was looking at and being all ???)
*Foolish is doing a voice in a video game!
*Tommy put out a vid and stream yesterday, both were chaotic
*We might be seeing Black Panther Saturday

We’re heading out soon to get some things from sainsburys and such.

Woohoo, balcony seats! I've kind of enjoyed being further back at rock shows lately, even though that's not my usual spot either. It's a different vibe up there, but still a good one!

I didn't get around to watching many of my traditional Halloween movies this year, not even The Crow. I blame work. The past month and a half have been just ridiculous out here. However, also planning to see Black Panther Saturday. OH, and I just realized--with Twitter out of my life, I won't have to dodge spoilers! That is *nice*. I didn't even think about that until literally just now.

I dunno if it’s seats, but if it is it’s unreserved. It suits me fine cause I just needed to goal any ticket is good! (Plus dunno really like being in the crowd and feel bad cause tall)

I’ve only been to one balcony show before but it was a definite vibe (and I was glad cause my bag strap broke on the way to the venue). I only went for the support that time but the main band put on a good show too and the singer came up to the balcony level and sang right next to me which was so wild

Awww that’s a shame! I’ve only ever seen the crow twice, I should see it more. Oh nice! Our main issue is weather and buses (causa the roadworks) but hopefully we will! I’m sticking on twitter for awhile, mostly causa I follow bands and such on there but ugh it’s exhasuting

General admission is sometimes unpredictable, but I'd be surprised if they're doing that for seated tickets. I don't have the "tall" problem, but heh, yeah that can be a consideration.

That is so cool! I've been to one show where the singer got right up in my face like that, and one other where he got up close to my roommate and started playing with her hair. I thought she was gonna faint!

Duuuuude, you gotta watch it more, definitely. It is one of my all-time favorite movies. I love it more every time I rewatch it.

Yeah it tends to be. I usually just find a place by pillar and stay there. I was at the venue I’m going to for Lovejoy the other night and the upper balcony does look like it’s a great view, so I’ll just hope to get to the front row there
