So this is more an addendum to the last post than it’s own thing.

After the vagueness of the call I’d pretty much resigned myself to not getting the pad until later in the week. So shortly after the last (locked post) I just curled up to watch the Karl and Quackity vod from last night (cause it was on at an absurd time). About half way through I had an e-mail.

The pad was ready.

The email came at 2:40, and I debated if I should go (because it looked like it might rain and also the food shop delivery was between 3:56-4:56 [no I dunno why they have they have it at an odd time]). I decided to risk it, since it would take about 20 minutes to get there (and then 20 to get back).

So off I went and I was back before a play of Set It Off’s Midnight finished I was back home. It looks like it’s working and everything seems to be there, which is good! Because of the food shop coming I wasn’t able to transfer any files over (but did log into Game Center on the new pad so I’m back on galaxy of heroes woo! I’d have been so pissed if I’d lost it again). I might transfer fic files tomorrow (I had thought of doing some tonight but I’m honestly feeling too wiped).

So yay, it’s fixed! I’m not exactly sure what I’m gonna do with the old pack cause I intended to just… leave it (it was becoming annoying for more than the power thing). I guess we’ll see.

So also in the last post I mentioned the Mario Kart thing, and while waiting for the food shop I decided to check the train times and… nope. There’s none at all Saturday. Not a surprise but a shame. I could get the bus I suppose, but it’s pretty unreliable and I’m not sure where to catch it. I might just give up on it but we’ll see I guess. (I’m surprised they’ve not moved it cause of that)

And speaking of Nintendo there’s a trailer for the mario film Thursday and I’m… I dunno the poster looks cool but I’m worried it’ll be a complete fuck up.

Lastly this is more for me, but I’m gonna either update this or make a complete new one, in case anyone wants to do me a birthday thing. I wanna add a bunch of streamers to it, so it might be it’s own thing (at least Eret, Wilbur, Foolish, Quackity)

Yeah me either, they’re only one an hour too so if they get delayed/cancelled with no warning you’re stuck, which is a shame but…

Thanks! The thing is I’d been meaning to replace it anyway (and had finally sent for one) and I only needed this repaired for the data and passwords on it (cause it died by before it came) so now I’m not entirely sure what to I’ll do with it. Really it’s just been an annoying expense that I’d hoped to avoid

Could you sell the old pad once you've done the transfer? It's working - albeit annoyingly - and someone might pay you a bit for it?
